The star of Russian cinema Ravshana Kurkova cannot help but attract the attention of the public. She is able to delight everyone - with her achievements in her career, her beautiful appearance, her amazing figure. This actress can delight and inspire. The actress's height is 179 centimeters and her weight is only 50 kilograms. At the same time, Ravshana does not follow strict diets, but only leads a healthy lifestyle.
Childhood and family
Ravshana Bahramovna Kurkova (nee Matchanova) was born on August 22, 1980 in the capital of Uzbekistan - sunny Tashkent. The entire family of the actress is connected with the world of art. Father Bahram Erkinovich Matchanov is an actor at the Ilkhom Theater, mother Rano Dzhalilovna Kubaeva is a film actress and director, uncle Rauf Kubaev is a director and screenwriter.
After the birth of her daughter, 18-year-old Rano Jalilovna left for Moscow to complete her studies at VGIK. Ravshana’s upbringing was carried out by her grandmother, a well-known obstetrician-gynecologist in Tashkent, who, in fact, delivered birth to Ravshana’s mother. She was a person of the old school and kept a tight rein on her granddaughter: she was not allowed to go out late, and even telephone communication was limited.
She grew up as a very reserved girl: she had complexes about her appearance, instead of school friends she had books, instead of courtyard friends - a piano and music lessons at the most prestigious school in the capital. Until the fifth grade, her grandfather took her to school by the hand.
The grandfather was a gentler man, often read books to his granddaughter and told exciting stories from his life, taught her to play chess, listened carefully as she learned scales on the piano, and prepared nutritious dinners. They often sat together in the evenings and dreamed, looking at the stars. Ravshana has the warmest memories of her grandfather.
The name “Ravshana” is quite unusual even for Uzbekistan. More precisely, the girl’s original name was “Ravshana”, with just such an ending. This is a modification of the name “Ravshan”, which is traditionally given to boys in the actress’s homeland. The grandmother really wanted to name her grandson - and everyone thought that Rano was expecting a boy - in honor of her first-born Ravshan, who passed away at the age of 27 from a heart attack. But taking the child in her arms, she realized that she had a girl in her arms, and the newborn received the name Ravshana, which can be translated into Russian as “clear moon.” The girl was very irritated by it, especially the reaction of her peers, who twirled their fingers at her temple when she introduced herself.
Since childhood, Ravshana loved to spend time with her dad at the theater during rehearsals or with her mother on the set, but such an opportunity was rare. The parents were against it because they did not want their daughter to repeat their path. They wanted their daughter to get a more “serious” profession, such as a doctor, like her grandmother. Ravshana herself dreamed of becoming a ballerina for a long time.
At the age of 12, Ravshana Kurkova played her first role in the film “The Secret of Ferns” directed by Rashid Malikov. To do this, she had to cut off her long hair, which Ravshana worried about for a very long time. The girl did not consider herself a beauty; on the contrary, she was worried that she would never turn from an ugly duckling into a swan. Time has shown that her fears were in vain.
After high school, Ravshana transferred to an elite lyceum, where students were prepared to enter the University of Westminster, so training took place exclusively in English.
When the time came to choose her future profession, Ravshana chose the Moscow Pedagogical Institute. At school, teachers always praised her essays, and she decided to enter the Faculty of Philology. Having moved alone to Moscow, the girl was confused, the frantic pace of this city contrasted so much with the measured Tashkent.
By the standards of Tashkent, her family was wealthy, but her parents could not afford to provide Ravshana with her usual life in expensive Moscow. But the girl did not give up and in her free time she worked part-time as a model, then got involved in filming advertisements, and soon acted as extras in TV series, gradually falling in love with the filming process.

In the fifth month of pregnancy, Ravshana lost her child, after which the relationship with her husband went wrong, and they decided to separate. After the divorce, Ravshana decided to keep her husband’s last name – Kurkov. Read more about all of Ravshana Kurkova’s husbands below, in the “Personal Life” section.

She took on any job just to be on the set and watch the magic of the birth of a new movie.
Later, Kurkova began acting in episodic roles: in 1998 she played in the film “Happy Birthday!”, which also starred her mother Rano Kubaeva. In 2002, she appeared in the series “Thief 2. Happiness for Rent,” and in 2006, two films with Kurkova’s participation were released: “Ostrog. The Case of Fyodor Sechenov" and "Insatiable".

After that, Ravshana began to receive more offers: over the next year she appeared on screens in the films “I’m Standing on the Edge,” “One Night of Love,” “Officers 2,” “The Temptation of Saint Tynu,” “Indian Cinema,” “Bros.”
In 2009, the actress was cast in the role of Angela Konkulova from the youth series “Barvikha”. The plot was built around the relationship between Rublev’s “golden youth” and ordinary children studying in the same class at the elite Castalia school. Two years later, Ravshana appeared in the continuation of the series - “Golden”.
According to Ravshana, Angela is her complete opposite. Angela is only concerned with popularity, fashionable things, boys and parties, while Ravshana devoted all her free time to study for a long time.
By the way, Ravshana was much older than the rest of the main characters - and others. However, she convincingly played the schoolgirl leader of the class.
Ravshana refused to film the second season of Barvikha, and the writers had to figure out how to remove her character from the plot. According to Kurkova, in the second season Angela did not receive any development, and there were more not too chaste scenes. “I am grateful to the Barvikha team for the experience, but I realized that I have outgrown Angela,” admitted Ravshana.
This was followed by the roles of Vera in the film “The Capercaillie in the Movie” (2010), Nelly in the TV series “Island of Unnecessary People” (2011), Bonnie in the comedy “Shattered” (2011), Christina in the anthology film “Moms” (2012), Alice in Sarik Andreasyan’s film “What Men Do!” (2013).
In addition to filming films, Ravshana starred in the video "Tenderness" of Yaroslav Maly's solo project Machete and in the video "Compose Dreams" from the group "". The Italian fashion brand Patrizia Pepe chose Ravshana to represent their brand.

They manage to find a common language and form an ideal tandem to solve complicated crimes. In general, the series received positive reviews, and this is largely due to Ravshana.
In 2020, several projects with her participation were being prepared for release. She starred in the Hollywood action movie Lazarat, in the comedy “For Adults Only” (where, by the way, a well-known actor also appeared), the TV series “Cruel World for Men” (in which she got the main role - the cruelly deceived financier Kira Arefieva) and the comedy “ Crimea".
Daily calorie intake
The star adheres to the principle: the energy value of what is eaten per day should correspond to energy costs. Therefore, the actress admits that her main diet is... work! With such a regime and work schedule, gaining excess weight is quite problematic. Once a girl tried to gain a few extra pounds for one role, but her attempts were in vain. In a week, only 200 grams were gained, although Ravshana Kurkova’s diet included eating fried potatoes before bed!
Personal life of Ravshana Kurkova
A beauty with a bright oriental appearance has never been deprived of male attention. Her first husband was photographer Semyon Kurkov, with whom she broke up after Ravshana lost her child.
The gynecologist told me: “An abortion is necessary, the fetus died a month ago. If you delay, blood poisoning will begin. And then your life will be in big question.” After these words, everything swam before my eyes. It seemed as if my heart was stopping.
In 2004, the actress married the actor
Fruits and vegetables
Perhaps everyone knows about the benefits of these products. They are rich in various vitamins, fiber, reduce the risk of various diseases and, of course, promote weight loss. Most fruits are low-calorie, which means they can be consumed in almost unlimited quantities. When Ravshana prepares dishes from vegetables or fruits, she saves some of them for various types of masks for the face and body. This habit replaces the actress with spa treatments and expensive salon masks, which the girl simply does not have enough time for. Follow the star’s advice described above, play sports, smile more often and the effect will not take long to arrive!

The film was originally filmed for English-language distribution, so Kurkova had to learn the role in English. Now Ravshana thanks her parents for transferring her to an English-language lyceum - she knows the language well, and she had no problems with “Abigail,” as well as with another English-language project, the American action film “The Last Throw,” which premiered in November 2019. Unfortunately, both films received rather low audience ratings.
But the Russian-Serbian film “Balkan Frontier”, based on real events, was warmly received by Russians and viewers, although it was not without the cliched nature inherent in this genre. Ravshana plays Vera, a sniper of Uzbek origin. She had to occupy sniper heights, and the director wanted doubles to do this and lift the actress on a crane, but Ravshana refused and did all the dangerous stunts herself.
Good news for all fans of the series “And in our yard” - in March 2020 the continuation of the romantic saga about the beautiful janitor was released.

As a result of this type of diet, you can gain back your lost kilograms and provoke the emergence of various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Any diet should be prescribed exclusively by a specialist, after a thorough examination and identification of the characteristics of each patient.
Uses of Jasmine Tea
A celebrity's morning always begins with a contrast shower and a cup of tea with the addition of jasmine petals. This drink can help you not only wake up quickly, but also get a boost of vivacity and energy for the whole day. Also, jasmine tea can have a great effect on metabolic processes. The slightly sweet taste of this drink makes you completely give up sweet treats and thereby reduce the number of calories consumed. Due to such influences, Ravshana’s figure is always impeccable.
Avoid pork
The beauty claims that from meat and fish you can get all the necessary substances that contribute to the proper functioning of the whole body. But you just have to eat poultry, fish and beef. Kurkova prefers not to eat pork, as this meat contributes to weight gain.
Ravshana Kurkova can also advise all girls who want to lose weight to consult with specialists and, if they experiment, do it very carefully.
