3. Take a rectangular pan and cover it with cling film. Take 2-3 small cuts, not 1 general one. This will make it easier to remove it from under the cake later.

Brew a cup of coffee and cool the drink. Then dip the cookies into it very quickly, literally half a second at a time, just to moisten them a little. Don't overdo it, it shouldn't get soggy!
