When young people are going on a romantic date, they think through their image, outfit, makeup, and hairstyle to the smallest detail.
That is, both the man and the woman try to look as beautiful, dignified as possible and make a positive impression on their partner. At the same time, overlooking one detail can completely ruin the entire effect. We are talking about alcohol, without which not a single rendezvous can be done today. Or, more precisely, we are talking about the wrong alcohol, which can play a cruel joke on you and ruin even the most romantic and ideal date. In order not to make a mistake with your choice, it would be a good idea to familiarize yourself with the advice of experts. Once you decide which drinks will accompany you during a romantic evening, you can buy them on the Alcoland.com.ua website.
Cinematic picture and reality
When they talk about whiskey, an associative series immediately arises, consisting of an elegant man in an expensive suit, luxury and aristocracy. But not everything is so simple. Whiskey contains large amounts of congeners, which is why alcohol can destroy your body in a very short time. In the morning you will have a severe hangover and shame for everything that happened the day before. Therefore, if you do not want to lose face, it is better to avoid drinking whiskey on a date.
Beer is no less insidious. On the one hand, this is a light alcoholic drink that is unlikely to quickly lead to intoxication. But the problem is that his weakness is his main drawback. It is difficult for a person to stop at a certain stage and, as a rule, he drinks much more than he should. As a result, you get drunk and behave either violently or unusually sad and quiet, but in any case you make an unpleasant impression and look inadequate. Young ladies should not at all drink beer on a date, since it does not add romance, femininity, or sexuality to their image. And in general, beer, romance and sophistication are incompatible concepts.
Valentine's Day Dessert: Melting Chocolate
To create this incredibly delicate dessert you will need:
- 80 g dark chocolate;
- 2 eggs;
- 50 g butter;
- 40 g sugar;
- 30 g flour;
- 1/2 teaspoon cocoa powder;
- a few scoops of ice cream.
Melt the chocolate and butter over low heat. Grind the eggs with sugar. Add the cooled melted chocolate buttercream to the mixture. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Grease the molds with oil, sprinkle the sides with cocoa powder and pour the mixture into them.
Bake the cakes for 10 minutes at 210 degrees. Remove the ramekins from the oven. Wait 5 minutes, cover them with a plate and turn them over. All that remains is to serve the dessert along with ice cream, piercing the cakes with a spoon and allowing the cream to partially flow out.
Attention: if you leave the cakes in the oven (for example, set the timer for 15 minutes instead of 10), the center will also thicken.
Beauty and alcohol – how to combine them?
Madame Pompadour once said that champagne is the only drink a woman can drink and not worry about her beauty. In some ways she was right. The main thing is not to overdo it with the amount you drink. And to be honest, champagne is suitable to accompany a romantic evening, but there are certain restrictions. After all, not every body is able to react correctly to the bubbles and sparkling nature of the drink. Therefore, if you are not sure that you know how your body will behave after a glass or two of this exquisite drink with bubbles, then it is better to refuse it in favor of a more suitable drink, that is, wine.
Dessert for Valentine's Day: mini cheesecakes with white chocolate and berries
Let's start our review of desserts for Valentine's Day with delicate hearts made of cream cheese cream, shortbread crumbs and delicious berry jelly. To create such a simple and delicious dessert, you will need:
For the base:
- 150 g shortbread cookies;
- 60 g butter;
For cream:
- 500 g cream cheese;
- 200 ml cream;
- 80 g white chocolate;
- a little gelatin, sugar and vanilla;
For the jelly:
- 250 g of fresh berries (raspberries or strawberries);
- 50 g sugar;
- 6 g gelatin.
Let's start with the cheesecake base. To do this, you need to break the cookies into pieces and grind them in a blender. Now melt the butter over low heat. And mix it with the resulting sand crumbs. Take heart-shaped baking molds. Place the resulting sand mixture in them. Smooth out the base of the cheesecake. Compact it with your fingers and place the pieces in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Soak the gelatin, leave it for 20-30 minutes, then drain the water. Pour 100 ml of cream into a saucepan and heat over low heat. As they heat, add chopped white chocolate. Stir the cream constantly and bring it until smooth. Add gelatin and continue to heat the resulting mixture without bringing it to a boil. Your goal is to dissolve the gelatin. Remove the cream from the heat, add cream cheese and vanilla, beat thoroughly. Separately, whisk the remaining cream and gradually add it to the cream, without stopping stirring. Remove the cheesecake tins and spoon the cream over the base.
Place the pieces in the freezer and leave them there for 20-25 minutes. Soak the gelatin in cold water and leave it for 30 minutes. Pour sugar over the berries and heat them over low heat for 7-10 minutes. Pass the berries through a blender, mix with gelatin and stir until completely smooth. Cool the puree and pour it into the molds on top of the buttercream. Now all that’s left is to decorate the mini cheesecakes with berries and leave them in the refrigerator for 3 hours. Bon appetit!
Ideal choice
The most correct decision when choosing an alcoholic drink for a date would be to choose wine. True, the wine should not be fortified, otherwise the effect from it will be no less unexpected than from whiskey.
According to research, after drinking a glass of red wine, a person becomes more open and relaxed. In addition, a glass of wine gives you confidence and makes you more sociable. Wine helps you relax, the main thing is not to overdo it.
By the way, in winter, hot wine, that is, mulled wine, will be an excellent accompaniment to a romantic evening. It will warm not only the body, but also the soul.
By the way, the choice of wine is also influenced by the dishes that you will eat during the rendezvous. If your menu is fish-based, then you need to choose white wine. If meat food prevails on the table, then you need to choose red wine. Good wine, regardless of color, sweetness and taste parameters, can be purchased here.
Champagne and wine also have a symbolic meaning, as they are associated with a holiday, something solemn, long-awaited and desired.
Cocktails will help add originality and special brightness to the atmosphere. You can prepare them yourself or entrust this difficult task to an experienced bartender.

Thematic rendezvous
If you want to add Italian romanticism to your date, sambuca must be present on the table. If the evening is in the style of English aristocracy, then you cannot do without a glass of quality gin. And, if you want a little lightness and even frivolity, ease, a kind of freedom, then use good rum as an accompaniment.
As for cognac, it all depends on the level of your gourmet taste. But, as a rule, its taste is too complex and cognac is considered a more formal drink than a romantic one.
Vodka during a date is the same bad manners as beer or whiskey.
When choosing an alcoholic menu for your evening, remember that what you drink, how you drink it, and, of course, how much is important.
