Ice fish in beer batter

To cook fillet in beer batter, you need to strictly adhere to the proportions.

Ingredients:

  • Ice fish fillet – 200 g;
  • Flour – 125 g;
  • Light beer – 125 g;
  • Egg – 2 pcs.;
  • Butter – 40 g;
  • Salt, spices.

Preparation:

  1. Mix flour with beer, add salt and pepper a little. Mix well, making sure there are no lumps.
  2. Break the raw eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Add the yolks and heated oil to the beer and continue to get rid of lumps.
  3. Beat the whites until foamy and pour into the container with the dough. Stir until smooth.
  4. Cut the ice fish fillet into small pieces. Salt and pepper.
  5. Cook in the oven at 200 degrees. Pour a little vegetable oil into a baking dish and coat the sides of the container. Place the fish and pour the resulting batter on top.
  6. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees, check for readiness - when the crust turns golden brown, make holes in the batter.

The recipe can be changed by adding wine, not beer, to the batter. Garnish with fresh cucumber, lime, lemon and herbs. A side dish, for example, potatoes, can be baked together with fish in the oven. Recipes with beer and wine differ in taste, but in any case the taste of the dish is very delicate. This is a beautiful and incredibly flavorful dish. It’s worth trying to cook both options in the oven.
