How we produce Happiness. The path to harmony

Since ancient times, people began to decorate their homes with green plants, and over time it became clear that they play an important role in our lives. In addition to the fact that these green beauties purify the air of harmful substances and help create the aesthetic appearance of our apartments, they carry a deeper meaning.

Some of them can help you create comfort, improve relationships with family members, find family happiness, and some can even make you rich. But others should be started with caution.

So beautiful, but so insidious they can disrupt the comfort in your family, shake your atmosphere, imbuing it with negative energy. So let's meet our friends

Spathiphyllum

11 indoor plants that will bring harmony to your home.

First on our list is spathiphyllum. This is a woman's best friend among flowers. Few people know his beautiful middle name - “Women’s Happiness”.

This is the flower you should get if you have not yet been able to find your betrothed, if you want to establish mutual understanding with your spouse, or if you simply consider yourself lonely. This flower will reciprocate your care and care.

Yoga

I found the perfect solution for myself in the practice of yoga. Yoga is a combination of strength, flexibility and balance not only in the body but also in the soul.

In a healthy body healthy mind

While my spirit was weak, I was incredibly afraid to do inverted poses, the same headstand or forearms against the wall. It seemed to me that I was weak, awkward, I couldn’t do it... Believing in myself, I got into the desired position without any problems, although I didn’t have any additional strength in my back or arms.

When I'm worried, I'm terrible at any kind of balance; I start to fall even in a banal tree pose. Before, I couldn’t understand what was going on. And only after realizing this deep relationship can I keep balances in any state. I just need meditation before practice.

At some point in my life, I realized that in order to move on, I needed to get out of my comfort zone, learn to soar, get off the ground... What do you think helped me? That's right, hand balances with legs lifted.

In a healthy body healthy mind

Hibiscus

11 indoor plants that will bring harmony to your home.

Another “peaceful” flower. Hibiscus, or as popularly known, Chinese rose. But! There is also a second side to this plant - passion. Therefore, if sparks of passion have not lit up in your home for a long time, then you should definitely buy this flower.

Well, if you are not yet married, don’t despair, it won’t last long. Soon, with the appearance of this extraordinary plant, blooming with large scarlet inflorescences, love will appear in your life!

Myrtle

11 indoor plants that will bring harmony to your home.

A medium-sized myrtle plant that is good for health and soul. Breeders of this deciduous representative should be prepared for its “requirements.” You need to carefully consider its location in your home, since it reaches a height of up to 1 meter.

Choose a place so that only a diffuse stream of light falls on it. Myrtle does not like direct sunlight, so the window sill option is not suitable for it. This is one of the most optimal flowers that is suitable for any home.

Already from the name itself it becomes clear why it was created. Peace, tranquility, support - this is what this home tree will bring to any home where it ends up.

Finding balance

We are one and indivisible. Body, mind and soul form a single whole - the Self. If at least one of the aspects is unbalanced, harmony is lost.

Well, here's a good example for you. It’s a beautiful sunny day, you are in wonderful company, with whom it is pleasant to talk, communicate, with whom you feel comfortable. Both for the soul and for the mind - complete bliss. But at the same time, suppose you rubbed your foot until it was a bloody callus. Or you have heartburn. Or something else, seemingly small and insignificant, but instantly spoiling the mood and the overall impression of an otherwise wonderful day.

Or another example. You lie in the spa and enjoy the most pleasant treatments. And then they tell you on the phone that an accident has happened to one of your friends. Or your boss gives you a wild beating. Or a man starts a scandal with a scene of jealousy. Will your body continue to feel blissfully relaxed?

We conclude: in order to live in harmony with yourself, you need to take care of both your physical body and the spiritual world.

How to achieve this? let's figure it out.

Chlorophytum

11 indoor plants that will bring harmony to your home.

Chlorophytum is ideal for offices. In these places, there is often an unpleasant and negative atmosphere in the air, which is facilitated by differences of opinion among colleagues.

Chlorophytum, like no other, is able to bring peace and tranquility into your workdays. The flower also cleanses the air well from unwanted elements and eliminates unpleasant odors.

Oxalis

Another plant for those who have not yet found their other half. Oxalis, or more simply put, sorrel. This flower got its name due to the taste of the leaves.

According to preferences, it is not very whimsical - place it so that the lighting is not bright, and do not forget to water it once every seven days. Basically, Oxalis is colored purple, lilac, bright green, but in some cases it can have a two-tone color.

You can observe the originality of this flower during the rain or before going to bed - it will neatly fold its leaves. This house plant blooms several times a year. Depending on the species, you can observe inflorescences of different shades:

  • white
  • pinkish
  • yellow

How to achieve harmony in life?

Get out of your head and into your heart. Think less and feel more. Don’t get attached to thoughts, immerse yourself in sensations... Then your heart will come to life. Osho

Today there are many blogs on different topics. But the topics of the blog “Live!” became the closest to me. This is due to the nature of my profession. Often people who come to me for coaching are quite successful, literate, earn good money, and are constantly developing. And usually coaching begins with requests: to increase profits, develop new business skills, prescribe a development plan, time management, and so on. That is, relevant topics for today for all successful and business people. But often such coaching smoothly transitions to working on personal issues: improving relationships with loved ones, employees, children, spouses; find free time for your personal needs and needs; make life more interesting, brighter, more harmonious.

And I made certain conclusions: people have forgotten how to LIVE! They are constantly running somewhere headlong, earning money, rushing to meetings, developing daily in many directions, becoming better, smarter, stronger, more enterprising... And then I ask them the question: “Why do you need all this?” And I see emptiness in my eyes. And I hear in response the memorized, well-known phrases: “To be happy.” “And when you are happy, what are you like? What are you doing? Who surrounds you and what is happening to you? And the person describes a situation completely opposite to today’s way of life.

Many people have a stereotype: in order to get something, you must first invest a lot of effort, emotions, money, time, all of yourself, and generally forget about normal existence for a certain period of time. And only then will success await you! Only through numerous attempts and excessive efforts can you achieve happiness, success and harmony. But this is absolutely not true!

The main idea of every person's life is to enjoy every day we live: to enjoy the food we eat; in obtaining benefit from the people with whom we communicate; in enjoying the work we do, etc. After all, we only live once! And we live TODAY!

To attract harmony into your life, I recommend introducing a couple of simple habits into your daily actions: Play sports. Sport is the time when you are yourself. I would even recommend doing yoga or dancing. It always gives strength, energy, improves mood and health! Meditations. During meditation, a person can very effectively turn to his essence, truly understand what he needs, relax and gain positive internal energy! In 10 minutes of meditation you can relax nicely and gain strength for the whole day! Nutrition. In addition to the fact that you need to eat properly and exclusively healthy food, I would also recommend making some kind of ritual out of food intake. Don’t sin by snacking on the road... Set the table, decorate the dishes, eat slowly, feel and appreciate the taste of food, like gourmets do. Find yourself a hobby or a pleasant activity that engages you and distracts you from all worldly matters. And, preferably, do it yourself! It is very important to sometimes spend time alone with yourself. By the way, this is how you can develop your creative potential. Surround yourself only with people you enjoy communicating with and from whom you have something to learn. Much has already been said about the influence of the environment on us and our successes. I won't repeat myself. I will only say one thing: experiencing pleasure from communicating with people is an important aspect in achieving life harmony. Love yourself! Love life!

Anthurium

11 indoor plants that will bring harmony to your home.

Well, finally, “Male Flower”. Anthurium! A majestic beauty with luxurious foliage and an original bud. And although many men neglect growing flowers, this flower should be included in the exceptions.

For married men, it will ensure a long and strong relationship with the chosen one, but for single male representatives, it will give attractiveness to the ladies and increase their male ego.

But this does not mean that a woman should not acquire this look. After all, this is a male flower, and with its appearance a new interesting companion will appear in the house.

The formation of personality is determined by the passage of age-related crises. The individual is constantly exposed to external factors, which often aggravate the negative factors influencing the crisis situation. The most complex and protracted age-related crisis is considered to be the teenage crisis, when a radical restructuring of previously established psychological structures occurs, new formations arise, but the foundations of conscious behavior are laid, and a general direction emerges in the formation of moral ideas and social attitudes (L.B. Schneider).

Teenagers are not yet adults, but they are no longer children. This transitional period is the most difficult period in a person’s life, as it brings significant changes in the self-awareness of a growing child. During this period, a sense of adulthood and the “I-concept” are formed, reflection appears, a worldview and ego-identity are formed, self-education becomes possible, etc.

In adolescence, when the special qualities of a person’s development as an individual are most clearly visible, a feeling of loneliness first appears. The formation of feelings of loneliness is influenced by a certain number of social and psychological factors, such as social rejection or acceptance and recognition, lack of “one’s own” social circle or isolation, increased need for self-knowledge and a crisis of self-esteem, emotional instability, the presence or absence of warm and trusting people in the family relationships. A child can feel lonely equally with overprotective parents, where the teenager’s wishes and desire for independence are not taken into account, and with a permissive attitude, where parents do not care about what is happening in the life of a growing child.

The crisis of adolescence is a difficult period in the development of a child; he often needs the help and support of an adult. Preserving the psychophysical health of a child is an important task during the teenage crisis, which is important for the development and formation of a harmonious personality.

The harmonious development of a child’s personality is possible while maintaining and strengthening his health, defined as a state of physical, mental and social well-being. The concept of mental health includes the well-being of the child in the emotional and cognitive sphere, character development and personality formation, and the neuropsychic state of children. The emotional sphere at this age is often unstable. Any remark from close people, teachers, especially in the presence of significant other teenagers (class), can lead to an acute negative experience that carries anxiety. Fear, resentment, sense of injustice, etc. Helping children cope with experiences that interfere with their normal emotional well-being, communication with peers and adults, and a decrease in educational motivation is the task of adults, in particular a school psychologist.

In connection with the above, the need arose for in-depth psychocorrectional work with adolescents who are acutely experiencing an adolescent crisis. The author was the development of a correctional training program for students who find themselves in difficult life situations. In the program, special attention is paid to the psychocorrectional lesson “Harmony of the Soul” using art therapy methods, which is successfully used in working with children and adolescents. This publication provides a detailed description of this lesson and a presentation that can be used as a visual aid for sharing experience among fellow educational psychologists.

Art therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy based on the use of art, usually visual arts, its goal is to harmonize personality development through the development of the ability of self-expression and self-knowledge. Visual activity allows you to deeply comprehend the subjects that interest the child and provides a natural opportunity for the development of imagination, flexibility and plasticity of thinking. Through drawing, the child gives vent to his feelings and experiences, desires and dreams.

Several aspects of a child’s visual activity can be distinguished: diagnostic, therapeutic, cathartic, behavioral, developmental.

  • The diagnostic aspect is the products of visual activity, which are valuable information about the psychological development, emotional state, the presence of internal conflicts and experiences of the child.
  • The therapeutic aspect - the process of emotional expression provides an opportunity to work not only with the thoughts, but also with the feelings of the child.
  • Cathartic aspect - drawing is a safe way to relieve tension, relieve frustration, and reduce feelings of inferiority.
  • Behavioral, behavioral aspect - possible solutions are played out in the drawing, situations and problems are analyzed.
  • Developmental aspect - in the process of visual activity, imagination, flexibility and plasticity of thinking develop.

The use of art therapeutic exercises in correctional work allows you to obtain the following positive results: provides an effective emotional response; facilitates the communication process for withdrawn, shy children; has an additional impact on the child’s awareness of his feelings, experiences, and emotional states; significantly increases personal value and helps increase self-confidence.

Unlike many correctional and developmental areas, art therapy uses the “language” of visual and plastic expression. This is especially true when working with children who cannot always express in words their emotional state, difficulty, or problem. Being in a creative space, the child gets the opportunity to express himself, resulting in improvements in his emotional and behavioral spheres. The art-therapeutic atmosphere promotes the child to reveal his potential, which also leads to positive results of psychological assistance. What is important is the child’s natural inclination towards playful activities and a penchant for imagination. Taking this into account when organizing correctional work with elements of art therapy, a special atmosphere of play and creativity is created in the classroom.

Art methods are also effective when working with teenagers. As a rule, their reflexive “I” is poorly developed, and therefore it is very difficult for them to express in words what is happening to them. Also, most teenagers are characterized by the presence of a negative “I-concept”, which can be changed and improved using the rich resource of art technologies.

The process of artistic self-expression is directly related to strengthening the child’s mental health and can be considered as an important psychotherapeutic and psychoprophylactic factor.

Progress of the lesson

Greetings.

Getting ready to work.

Psychologist:

“Today in class we will talk about the soul and inner harmony.”

Lines from a poem by Alexander Blok are read:

“Do not disturb my harmony - everything in it is light and everything is spiritual. When you answer her with your soul, we are connected with you lovingly.”

Psychologist: “What do you think the soul is? Where is the soul? Why does a person need a soul? Are our feelings and emotions connected with our state of mind, with a sense of inner harmony? What kind of person is he, a person with inner harmony?”

Before the discussion, it is necessary to give children rules on psychological safety.

Psychologist:

“It is important now to listen to each other without arguing or judging. Just accept everything you hear as information. Each person as an individual is individual, receives his own personal life experience, starting from birth, is brought up and lives in different conditions, etc.”

There is a discussion going on. Teenagers express their opinions, thoughts that come during the discussion. Then some definitions of the soul of philosophers, psychologists, poets and writers are voiced.

Basic exercise “Harmony of the soul”

Psychologist:

“Imagine that each of us is given a vessel of the soul at birth. This vessel is fragile and empty. And we fill it all our lives. And what we put there, how and how much will shape our character, our destiny and our inner world. Will there be inner harmony in our soul? Do you think this is the inner harmony of the soul? What kind of person is this who has this quality?”

There is a discussion going on.

Psychologist:

“There are several vessels in front of you. Take the one you want to take, the one you like. Decorate your vessel, paint it the way you would like, as you like. You must remain silent while working. Try to focus on the process.”

Pleasant, calm music is turned on.

After all the vessels are decorated, time is given for the paint to dry. At this time, children choose material to fill the vessels. Then the vessels are filled with the selected material. When filling, the same music plays. After all the vessels are filled, the class participants place them in the middle of the table so that they can be clearly seen. Children are given time to study all the vessels. In this case, you can only ask and clarify: “What is this?”, but you cannot give a “good or bad” assessment.

Psychologist:

“When you and I were thinking about what the soul is, there were different opinions. And now, when you see ready-made vessels of the soul, find the same ones... There are no such things.”

A poem by Nadine Bure is read: “Find harmony in your soul. And you will find out where you live. After all, you will see happiness on earth. There is a lot, and there is enough for everyone. And you will learn how to love and live. And with a pure, illuminated soul. And how could anyone in the world be happier? And how to be happiness and destiny for everyone. Give love to yourself and to everyone... It will return to you in double quantity. You will know that there is happiness on earth... When with love, the heart is given.”

Reflection.

When discussing a lesson, it is necessary to encourage children to talk about the individuality of each of them. About accepting another person with his, perhaps, special character of soul. What makes the other interesting is that it is different, just as the vessels of the soul in this lesson turned out to be different and therefore interesting.

Control diagnostics using the Luscher color test after class.

Psychologist:

“There are eight colored cards in front of you. You need to choose a card of the color that is pleasant, that you like more than others at the moment, and put it aside. Now another card from the seven remaining. And so on until the last one.”

It is important that the teenager likes his filled vessel and evokes pleasant feelings. If this is not the case, then it is necessary to continue working with this child individually in the future.

This activity also provides diagnostic opportunities. As a rule, closed, anxious, vulnerable teenagers who are not accepted in the team choose bottles and jars with a narrow top of colored glass as a vessel and, if possible, after filling the vessel, they close it with a lid or something beautiful.

Dracaena

If you decide to put dracaena in your home, then be careful. This is a very capricious flower. On the one hand, it will bring you good luck both in everyday life and in commercial activities.

But if your partner doesn’t like your green pet, be prepared for the fact that he will gradually eliminate him from your life.

To enhance the effect of dracaena, you should hang a red ribbon on the first shoot, and then your life will be filled with material stability and prosperity.

How we produce Happiness. The path to harmony

Throughout our lives we experience different feelings and emotions. We often tend to idealize them, calling them mental pain or the highest joy. But what if, in fact, the basis for these feelings is much more mundane and simpler? It is called our “mammal brain,” which evolved for the survival of our species. Yes, people are not animals, they are the most complex creatures with a Soul, Spirit and Consciousness. This is why we can realize, understand and accept our natural part. Do not give it complete power over us, as happens in animals.

Most of our time, unfortunately, we simply react to the circumstances and events of life. This is how our brain works. And if there is a reaction, then the system is working. This means you need to rejoice and turn on your awareness. Each of us is born with countless neurons, but very few connections between them. The connections we make shape how we respond to the world. Now think about it: how often do we build connections consciously?

The “mammal brain” produces hormones. They are fast-paced and mercilessly caring. Their goal is one - the survival of the species. The pain we once experienced triggers the production of cortisol (stress hormone) in a similar situation in the present. A reward that we received once in the past causes a surge of “happiness hormones” in similar situations.

Cortisol, dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, endorphin are the basic hormones that shape our reactions to the world around us. It is important to remember that our body craves them and looks for them in any way; a DEPENDENCE is formed on serotonin and endorphin! BUT - the release of certain hormones depends on the expectations associated with our neural pathways.

Some antidepressants, such as Prozac, are known to increase serotonin levels. When this drug became available to the public, the mechanism of action of serotonin was not yet understood. Then the idea was created that using the “right doses” of serotonin could make a person happy, regardless of his thoughts and actions.

When my daughter and I analyzed the life of an ordinary person, we saw that one way or another, quite enough happiness hormones are produced. The question arose: why then do people not feel this happiness? Because the neurotic neural arc is fixated on the FEELING of unhappiness. Observing your reaction to the production of hormones and building new positive neural pathways is the way out of the situation. No antidepressant will make a person happy if he does not consciously shape his thoughts and actions.

“Happiness hormones” are created for a specific job. They are not produced within us all the time just like that, for no reason. Their job is to ensure survival, not to make us permanently happy. They are released in short waves when we take a step towards satisfying our needs. Hormones are quickly absorbed, and a new step must be taken to stimulate their new release. If you're used to thinking of happiness as your birthright, these neurochemical facts may seem shocking. But if you know how your “reward hormones” work, you understand that your ups and downs are natural . Instead of worrying about them, you can feel secure in the knowledge that your brain is doing its job .

In this sense, I absolutely agree with my Reiki Master Olga Shanskova - Harmony, as a mission, is not feasible, but we are striving for it.

It remains to be reminded that the human brain is a great mystery. It is simply necessary to know its small “animal” part. And remember that OUR brain generates hyperdimensional magnetic fields. They serve as mechanisms for our awareness of a reality higher than the material world, a reality located beyond our three-dimensional space and one-dimensional time. The fields arise as a result of the active and cumulative actions of the thalamus, hypothalamus, hippocampus, tonsils, as well as the joint functioning of the pituitary gland and pineal gland. This is important to realize! In order to create an ideal magnetic field circuit, all of these components must work together synergistically. If any of these six components are not active, then the brain is not performing its maximum possible magnetic hyperdimensional function. This means that brain activity needs to be trained. We are able to awaken the activity of all areas of the brain on our own! Visualization, energy practices - Qigong, Reiki. And the practice of Alive Bees is invaluable in this direction, especially the Star Swarm setting, the goal of which is to restore the correct functioning of all parts of the brain, the functioning of the endocrine, hormonal and immune systems. Yes, this will not happen instantly, but being harmonious and happy is what it takes.
