“Dasha” grew up in a single-parent family: employees of the famous Gorky Automobile Plant, Vladimir and Valeria separated in 1990. When Natasha turned 20 (and sister Nadezhda was 14), the girls lost their mother, who died suddenly of heart disease. The ex-husband survived his wife by 5 years.
Natalya was an active schoolgirl: dance classes, theater club, journalism. Freelance collaboration in newspapers appealed to the girl, who believed that this was her calling. But after school, Bochkareva decided to test herself at the entrance exams at the Nizhny Novgorod Theater School. Having endured creative tours, she realized that she would not give up her career as an actress.
At the Chekhov Art Theater
At the age of 20, Natalya Bochkareva entered the legendary Moscow university (Moscow Art Theater School),
where the student’s mentor was Oleg Tabakov. The 2002 graduate was enrolled in the theater troupe. Roles in the plays “At the Depths”, “Cabal of the Holy One”, “Playing the Victim” proved that Natalya chose the right path.
The actress appeared in films in the late 1990s in the historical comedy “Chinese Set”, and then was content with episodes in TV series. When going to audition for the new TNT project “Happy Together,” Natalya did not particularly hope for success: the heroine is an “adult”, the role is sharply satirical and even grotesque. Bochkareva named on this talk show the name of the person who arranged “this hellish time” for her, but the program with her participation never aired.
“If a person was able to drag me into a scandal, making everything look like it was in a movie, then he probably contributed to ensuring that no one would ever know the truth. When the talk show was filmed, I was applauded by both the audience and all those who prepare this program. But something went wrong...” said Bochkareva.

You have a role with which you are still associated. You started playing the famous Dasha Bukina in the series “Happy Together” at the age of 23, and according to the script she was 45. Why did the director choose you? I was probably convincing in this role. It was an interesting job, and I was encouraged by the fact that I had to play an age role at 23–24. If it didn't work out, it would be a big failure. For me it was a sporting interest. I know brilliant actors who played age-related roles in their youth, and these roles went down in the history of our cinema.

Is there someone you would like to emulate? No. I live by the principle: don’t create an idol for yourself. I am an adult who understands that at our core we are all original, original, and any repetition in our profession is a crime. It's like trying to reinvent a wheel if it already exists. I like many Russian and foreign actors - Meryl Streep, Zhenya Mironov, Vladimir Mashkov, Johnny Depp. Studying at the Higher Directing Courses greatly influenced me - I realized that in the history of cinema there are many amazing films that are unfairly forgotten. When I received the golden list of films that every director should know, I was extremely surprised! Abroad, for example, they study Tarkovsky, whose fame haunts many. In the new film "The Revenant" with DiCaprio, many of the shots are taken from Tarkovsky's films. But it is impossible to repeat exactly, and the success will not be the same. So there is no point in imitating. This is why I study, to understand my nature more. Let's not talk about work. You are keen on skiing. Did you go skiing this year? This year it didn't work out. There was work, like all artists. And when it was possible to go, the schoolchildren began to study. I don't leave them for long. You said that your parents divorced, you were able to bring them together. How did you do it? In my case, the children reconciled - not only me, but also my younger sister. I was about nine years old, and she was four or five years old, and we decided to do it. You also divorced your husband six years ago. Maybe you will get back together someday? You and he, like your parents, have children together... We also passed this stage in six years. Just after the divorce, we realized that we have a wonderful relationship when we are not around. We are like two fiery planets: when we approach each other, space heats up. And at a distance we communicate perfectly, even better.

Personal life
Bochkareva is divorced. Her ex-husband, Nikolai Borisov, is a lawyer. They met during the filming of “Happy Together,” when Natalya was visiting relatives in Nizhny Novgorod. An impressive man of “age” (13 years older than Natasha) impressed the Gorky woman. In January 2007, the actress gave birth to her first child, Ivan, and at the end of September the couple registered their marriage.
There is a slight difference between the first and second child - Masha was born in February 2008. In 2014, a divorce from Nikolai was filed.

The chosen one of 36-year-old Natalya is not a poor man - Alexander Kononenko is called the most fashionable residential designer in Moscow. He often appears in the “Repair School” program, where he teaches everyone how to turn their apartment into a cozy and stylish nest... Bochkareva cannot even remember where they met - either at some party, or with mutual friends. We just talked for a long time.
