It's time to discuss the most impressive and captivating makeup trends for the fall/winter 2020 season presented during the latest fashion show. They can all be described in one word – “diversity”. Stylists and designers presented many makeup options, ranging from a completely classic bias toward natural makeup to experimental and, at times, extravagant options, as in the case of the maximum “excess” of smoky makeup. We tried to classify fashion trends in makeup for fall/winter 2020, highlighting the main motives and selected more than 60 photos with illustrative examples.
Fall/Winter 2015-2016 trend No. 1: Natural makeup
We notice the designers' penchant for natural looks, so classic and airy, at almost every fashion show. This season, the highlight of such fashionable makeup is that naturalness was achieved using an incredible amount of makeup products. The result is truly impressive - such a natural and, at the same time, chic look. Vera Wang, Alexander Wang, Jason Wu, Victoria Beckham, Diane Von Furstenberg, Jil Sander, Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Giambattista Valli, Lacoste and Michael Kors presented excellent examples of this trend during the show. The main accent was pink lips and peach blush, which would also look great as a wedding makeup option. One can also notice a certain tendency towards aristocratic pallor. An example of such make-up was the Dion Lee collection. Edun and Prabal Gurung also found a great way to create natural makeup (see photo).
