At the Star Factory, Yulia took third place, but a much bigger surprise for her was that during the gala concert, Shulgin proposed to her. According to Mikhalchik, she was in a state of complete euphoria, so she immediately agreed, but disappointment set in too quickly. A few weeks later, Julia and Alexander went on vacation to Egypt. They planned to spend the New Year holidays together, but one day Shulgin allowed himself to be rude.
“He wanted me to snorkel, but I refused. I remember I even burst into tears because he forced me. Then Alexander grabbed me by the face, and that became the point. Then I realized that was it. In creativity, I could still put up with some kind of pressure, but in reality, no. I’m a living person,” the artist emphasized on the air of the “Fate of a Man” program.
After that ill-fated vacation, Julia returned to her native St. Petersburg and withdrew into herself for several months. Shulgin did not try to return the young favorite and did not force her to further cooperation. They later reconciled, but never returned to a romantic relationship. The whole country is celebrating holidays! In the end, a very experienced doctor finally came to me. Then there were two options: either save the fetus with the help of strong medications, or accept a miscarriage. In the first case, there was a risk that the baby would be born unhealthy, so I chose the second option. I cried in the delivery room because I understood that I would lose the child,” said Yulia.
