“I don’t owe him anything”: Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya about the scandal with Dzhigarkhanyan

Biography of Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya

Ukrainian pianist, former general director of the Theater under the direction of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya was born in the Ukrainian capital in 1979. Studied in Kyiv. She became a laureate of an international music competition in Paris. She graduated from a music school in piano, then from the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P. I. Tchaikovsky.

In 2001 she moved to Moscow, where she entered the Maimonides State Classical Academy. Subsequently, she taught here at the Faculty of World Musical Culture, and then director Vladimir Yachmenev recommended Vitalina to the Dzhigarkhanyan Theater.

Back in Kiev, 16-year-old Tsymbalyuk attended a performance with the participation of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan (“December 32”, “City Zero”, “Hello, I’m your aunt!”, “Green Van”, “Life Line”), took an autograph and from there moment I was looking for a reason to meet a famous actor. Through acquaintances I found his phone numbers; in Moscow, sometimes I even managed to meet and have lunch together. When the artist fell ill, only his sister and Vitalina were nearby.

In 2002, Armen Borisovich suffered a mini-stroke. Tsymbalyuk decided to support him and began to help Dzhigarkhanyan’s sister take care of him.

After some time, Armen invited Vitalina to work in his theater, where the pianist began serving in 2008. At first she worked as the head of the musical department, and on June 18, 2020, Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya took the chair of director of the Dzhigarkhanyan Theater.

Soon the media began to be full of scandalous news related to Vitalina’s official decisions. In particular, in 2011, several famous artists left the troupe, including Andrei Merzlikin (“Boomer”, “Piranha Hunt”, “Fortress”) and Stanislav Duzhnikov (“Kamenskaya”, “Graphomafia”, “Voronins”). Elena Ksenofontova, Alexey Shevchenko, and Vladimir Kapustin joined the theater staff who left.

In 2020, another unpleasant situation became known - several employees of the Dzhigarkhanyan Theater complained that they were thrown out onto the street. Then the wife of the famous actor said that all relevant issues had been resolved by her.

Vitalina Tsimbalyuk-Romanovskaya about the 2020 incident: “The allegedly illegally fired actress and costume designer lost all proceedings. This probably says something. Fortunately, everything calmed down. Now there is no place for intrigues and scandals in the team, although this, alas, happened before. But we managed to create an environment of like-minded people. It is important that not only Armen Borisovich and I feel good, all employees should feel comfortable... You see, I have almost 30 years of experience in art. I graduated from school at the conservatory and went through all these “creative” things. Got some bumps. From now on I know that it’s easier to break up with a person than to sort things out.”

In February 2020, another scandal broke out in the theater. This time it was connected with the dismissal of the young actress Dana Nazarova, who had worked there for eight years. She filed a lawsuit against the institution, whose director Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya stated that the theater no longer needed the artist. Commenting on what happened to the press, Dzhigarkhanyan’s wife noted that the actress simply decided to promote herself in this way.

Recently, Vitalina Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya and Prokhor Chaliapin decided to live together. The singer moved into a three-room apartment with his new lover, however, the happiness of the lovers soon began to be overshadowed by calls from an anonymous blackmailer. He said that he would publish naked photographs of Armen Dzhigarkhanyan’s ex-wife if he was not paid. The woman tried to convince the unknown man not to do this, but he was adamant. Then the pianist decided to show the pictures herself in the program “Andrey Malakhov. Live".

According to Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya, this step will help her get rid of fears and worries.

“I spent quite a long time trying to persuade this blackmailer not to post the pictures online. Each time it was very unpleasant. The pressure seriously intensified after I became a famous public figure. “I felt nothing but fear about this,” Vitalina admitted.

In those same frames, Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya is captured in an apartment, on a sofa, completely naked. Apparently, the pictures were taken on a phone, which was subsequently hacked. The fact that the victim of the blackmailer was not afraid to make them public caused admiration among the audience present in the studio, but some felt that it would be better to pay. However, Prokhor immediately stood up for his beloved and said that there was no need to be ashamed of them, because his chosen one could boast of a beautiful figure.

Vitalina herself showed candid pictures in the program “Andrey Malakhov. Live broadcast" on Russia TV channel.

“Vitalina looks great and can only be proud of her curves. I take this much easier than she does. I know how difficult it was for Vitalina to decide to take such a step, she is a very intelligent, modest person,” said the artist.

Prokhor Chaliapin’s mother was not shocked by such frankness. However, she asked her son and his chosen one to take a more responsible approach to the issue of marriage and not to go to the registry office in the near future.

“I think it’s too early for Vitalina and Prokhor to get married. I really like Vitalina. She is an intelligent, modest girl. But now I want grandchildren. If Vitalina is ready to give birth to my grandson, then let them be together, I’m just glad. But there is nothing like that in these photographs. Many modern stars have even worse shots,” said Chaliapin’s mother.

Vitalina herself has been thinking about children for a long time, believing that at her age it is already possible to become a mother. Moreover, the mother is responsible and conscious. It should be noted that after her divorce from Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Vitalina became a rich bride. She has a few apartments left, some of which she rents out. Officially, Tsymbalyuk-Romanovskaya does not work anywhere after the divorce. But at the same time, the woman does not deny herself anything. She uses the services of expensive beauty salons, loves good things and travels often.
