But after some time, their communication began to fade, and from the media Elizaveta learned about the affair between Basharov and Ekaterina Arkharova, whom the actor later married.

Lisa did not insist on continuing the relationship; she worked hard and went on dates with other men. But at the end of 2014 I heard about a terrible scandal involving Basharov and his new wife. Ekaterina Arkharova was hospitalized with multiple bruises and abrasions, and accused her ex-husband of inflicting these beatings. Lisa didn’t believe that Marat was capable of this, so she decided to write him words of support. Basharov answered her, and communication began again. Already in May 2020, Elizabeth and Marat began living together, and in July 2016, their son Marcel was born. At the beginning of this year, according to media reports, Basharov divorced his wife and mother of his son Elizaveta Shevyrkova. The initiator of the separation was Lisa herself, whose nose the artist broke at the end of last year. Marat was very worried for some time and denied the fact of the divorce, but by now he seems to have come to his senses. StarHit obtained footage of Basharov in the company of a stranger.

“Marat is now in Sochi, he came here in the company of friends for a hockey tournament,” people surrounded by the artist told StarHit. “Spends time with an unknown lady.”

However, the actor’s friend, who was with him at the moment the photograph was taken, denied Marat’s affair with the woman.

“We were walking to the car when this girl approached us, she was drunk. Marat was absolutely sober. She began to pester him, asking him to take at least one photo. He agreed, although he was not very happy. And then this picture ended up in the media... By the way, he didn’t divorce his wife, he just couldn’t come with her today,” the man told StarHit.

More recently, Marat was happy in his third marriage with Elizaveta Shevyrkova. The couple has a son, Marcel, who was born on July 28, 2020. And the wedding itself took place on September 9, 2017. The couple raised a child, renovated their apartment and planned to rebuild their country house. Marat worked hard to provide a comfortable existence for his family, and Lisa took care of the housework.

The idyll ended on December 27, when it became known that Shevyrkova was hospitalized with a broken nose. Elizabeth’s brother Fedor told StarHit that Marat broke his sister’s nose. “It happened today. She is in the hospital,” the relative said. As it became known, Lisa and her mother spent the whole night in the emergency room, and now she is sleeping after the stress she suffered.

According to the victim’s lawyer Nelly Makarova, Marat has been sent an agreement on alimony, which must be signed by a notary. The human rights activist noted that for the sake of the child, the ex-spouses will maintain good relations. Later it turned out that the reason for the scandals was Basharov’s abuse of alcohol. Because if you were beaten, your actions are an examination at the emergency room, a statement to the police and a claim to the court for divorce, and not an attempt to have a heart-to-heart talk with him and find out why. And the majority believes that even talking about beatings is a shame and that everything will somehow be tolerated and loved. A fur coat and a ring - and you can completely forget about a broken jaw. Really, until next time. This, in my opinion, is scary.

The fact that the problem of violence against women in Russia and the West is treated differently is well demonstrated by the story of the influential producer Harvey Weinstein. After a publication in The New York Times about sexual harassment that lasted for years, Weinstein's career collapsed.

In Europe, with similar legislation, domestic violence is more likely to lead to jail time. And such a fact from life will be taken into account when applying for a job or when moving up the career ladder. It’s not the laws that are different, it’s the mentality. The main problem of Russian reality is the overly sacred attitude of women towards the institution of marriage. Everyone first strives to get married at all costs, and then doesn’t get divorced, even if they have to cover up bruises every weekend.
