The artist died of a heart attack on June 8 around 19:00. Perhaps the cause of the tragedy is “the heat and acute lack of sleep after the flight from the tour,” as the report says. In just a week since its launch, the Internet platform “Voice” belarus2020.org easily collected the votes of 600 thousand people for fair counting in the presidential elections. This is an unprecedented amount.

Now it is up to Belarusians themselves to turn thousands into 4 million to see detailed statistics on how the country voted on August 9. To do this, the creators of the platform encourage everyone from now until the elections to actively save their votes in “Voice” and invite 5 new people per day.

The CEC does not tell how Belarusians vote, and does not publish data on polling stations, cities and regions. The CEC does not allow independent members of precinct commissions and observers. Independent exit polls and opinion polls are prohibited in Belarus before the elections. The figures announced by the CEC cannot be verified. This is a black box.

The open Internet platform “Golos” was created by Belarusian developers for alternative vote counting as a counterweight to the closed electoral system of Belarus. Before the elections, the platform will collect the votes of millions of Belarusians, save them and publish detailed statistics on the votes on August 10.

The developers guarantee that they will do this while complying with the law and reliably maintaining the anonymity and security of the voter. It is impossible to track the user or obtain information about him. To register your voice, you only need a phone number, which the platform instantly encrypts, just like the best international banks. Even the developers themselves cannot recognize it.

To leave a vote, a person must go to the website https://belarus2020.org and go through a quick registration through the Telegram or Viber bot - 600 thousand Belarusians have already done this.

On election day, platform developers ask Belarusians to take a photo of their ballot from both sides and send it to the bot to confirm their choice and provide legal weapons to combat fraud.

We don’t know what new obstacles may await us at polling stations on election day: we may be prohibited from bringing smartphones (although the law allows it), we may be prohibited from taking photographs at the polling station (although legally allowed), we may be created in uncomfortable conditions and have our curtains removed in the voting booth (although by law voting is a secret process). Our internet could be turned off.

But nothing will stop “Voice” if millions of Belarusians register on the platform and share their votes before the elections. By August 10, we will have honest, large-scale data about who people chose and how.
