The new season of “The Voice” began with a serious casting
This Friday the long-awaited third season of the show “The Voice” starts. The television project, whose homeland is Holland, has managed to fall in love with Russian viewers. And now many are eagerly waiting for the first “blind” auditions to air. Mentors are already ready to take vocal rough diamonds into their teams.
“Blind” auditions are not the first stage that participants go through. Two more qualifying rounds remain behind the scenes. The professional team of Channel One producers spent a long time and carefully selecting applications. People sent in their questionnaires from all over Russia. As a result, the project organizers invited the most talented people to casting in the body. Several hundred people came to conquer the capital. Among them are both experienced singers and those who are just beginning their path to fame. First, applicants went through standard registration. Signature, number, photo - and you are already half a participant in the project. After this, those who came were divided into groups of 10 people and given the opportunity to prepare for the performance. The time has come to tediously wait for your turn in the corridors of the television center. Everyone used it differently. Some sang quietly, while others were not shy about their talent and gladly demonstrated their vocal abilities to others. Several people united and sang hits of our time, so the atmosphere was truly creative and friendly. The stars of the last season of “The Voice” also came to the casting. The inimitable Nargiz Zakirova appeared in public for a short time, and Andrei Tsvetkov acted as a reporter for Channel One. He, along with the cameraman and assistants, interviewed the contestants, while managing to take pictures with fans and sign autographs.
The audition took place behind closed studio doors. Any photography inside was prohibited. The participants went out one by one onto a small stage, where they performed their number in the spotlight. The contestants were evaluated by a commission of eight people. The experts looked first of all, of course, at the purity of the performance, but what was also important was how the contestant presented himself, whether he was artistic or not.
Among the jury was the director of the music broadcasting directorate of Channel One, Yuri Aksyuta. Only contestants were allowed into the studio. Everything that happened on stage behind the door was kept in the strictest confidence. However, those who left the studio were immediately surrounded by a crowd and tried to extort details. The results were not announced immediately. The competitors had to languish in anticipation. Here even a few minutes will seem like an eternity. And then a girl appeared with a walkie-talkie. The names of the lucky winners of tickets to the “blind” auditions were announced. Tired smiles, sad eyes and quiet applause - this is what could be noticed after the announcement of the lists. How to show your talent?
Casting for season 9 of The Voice allows the show's producers to select candidates who have enough potential to be selected by judges who evaluate participants solely on vocal abilities. Especially for this audition, auditions are held blind: the jury members sit with their backs to the stage and can see the vocalist by pressing a button, which means an invitation to the team.
But among the many applicants, not everyone will be able to reach the stage of selection for teams. To apply for consideration, you need to send a form with a recording of the performance of any song. The quality of the sound recording does not matter: it can be done in a studio or independently. It is important that the voice is clearly heard. It is allowed to send two songs, in this case it is better that one is in Russian and the second in English. It is not advisable to attach original works, but this is not prohibited if the singer believes that this way he can demonstrate his vocal abilities better. Participants can leave links to portals where more recordings are stored of them performing various pieces of music to fully showcase their talent.
