The benefits of homemade scrubs

For in-depth cleansing of facial skin, regular washing is not enough - you need to regularly use stronger products, such as various scrubs. With their help, the pores are cleared of dirt and sebaceous secretions, blood circulation is improved, and they also have an exfoliating effect that cleanses the skin. The scrub removes the dead layer of the epidermis, thereby improving the “quality” of the skin and, accordingly, the complexion. A ready-made scrub is available, for example, in pharmacies, but you can also prepare it at home yourself. So, you have decided to prepare a facial scrub at home. This means you will get a lot of benefits - all the ingredients are completely natural, do not damage the skin, are cheaper and usually more effective than those available on the market. The result of use will pleasantly surprise you.

Homemade coffee scrub

A facial scrub is made from ground coffee or grounds. In the first case, the particles will be harder. Select the degree of grinding according to your preferences. Small and hard particles are suitable for oily and problematic skin. For those who are sensitive, it is recommended to use already used coffee grounds. Apply to a moistened face. For dry skin, first add a spoonful of milk, cream or grape seed oil to your coffee. Massage your face for 1-2 minutes, rinse with water.

My face masks and scrubs

Hello, accomplices. Today I decided to write about my masks and scrubs. The review will present several products from different companies and price categories. About my skin: closer to winter, it became combination with an oily T-zone, the skin is very problematic, as soon as one pimple disappears, another one immediately appears (or even more than one). I'm 22 and I'm still searching for the perfect treatment (I still believe it exists). Now I'm using more from Payot, but masks/scrubs from a variety of manufacturers (I like to try something new).

So,
1. Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Mask - Purifying mask.
Manufacturer's promises Having read positive reviews about the Kadali brand, I plucked up the nerve and asked for this mask as a gift (unfortunately, I never found out the price). I planned to use it once a week, alternating with another product (more on that later), but I only used it twice (and I’ve had it for 2 months already). The fact is that I didn’t see a super effect, although the mask seemed to cope with its tasks (cleaned the pores and narrowed them a little). It didn’t solve the problem of oily shine. Doesn’t dry out or tighten the skin (and many cleansing masks are guilty of this) Rating: 5- (it seems to work, and there’s nothing to lower the rating for, but I won’t buy it again)

2. The Body Shop Tea Tree Face Mask – Tea Tree Oil Mask

Manufacturer's promises The mask is almost finished, although I have hardly touched it. After several uses, I still didn’t see the effect, so I ended up giving it to my mom. Mom likes it (she also has oily skin). In general, the story with the Megamint mask from Lush repeated itself; reading reviews of it, I thought “this is my salvation,” but in the end it was a bummer. There is no price on the official website, but I bought the mask a long time ago (and not by me) Rating: 4 (it cleans something for my mother and refreshes her complexion)

3. Cleansing scrub PURE LINE chamomile extract and apricot kernels
The manufacturer writes
: contains crushed apricot kernels that cleanse the skin of impurities and remove rough cells; chamomile extract, which perfectly softens and soothes the skin; white clay (kaolin), which tightens pores and makes the skin matte.

After using the mask, the skin becomes incredibly smooth and soft. The appearance and condition of the skin noticeably improves.

Application: Apply a small amount of scrub to a moistened face and neck, excluding the area around the eyes. Lightly massage the skin and rinse off the scrub with warm water.

It is recommended to use 1-2 times a week.

To achieve the best result, after using the cleansing scrub, it is recommended to apply a nourishing or moisturizing PURE LINE mask to your face.

My opinion

: Great thing, and at a ridiculous price. I found it on the Internet for 70 rubles, but I think it was cheaper in the store. The scrub contains very regular scrubbing particles, there are quite a few of them, it reminds me a little of sand (I like it, it feels like you’re not just washing your face). The cleansing is deep, the skin is not damaged, and the complexion is evened out. What else can you expect from a scrub for that kind of money? In general, I’m glad that I found such a product, I will buy more. The only thing is that it is not suitable for sensitive skin (too nuclear) My rating: 5

4. Clarins Gentle Peeling – Soft peeling for face

The manufacturer promises the famous ray from Clarins. The first time I didn't understand this product. I fell in love for the second time. The product cleanses just as well as a scrub, but not due to scrubbing particles, but thanks to it (I won’t be clever here, I don’t know how peeling cleans, but it cleans – that’s a fact). In general, a minute after application, you can start rolling; the main thing here is not to overdo it and not stretch the skin too much. Cleanses with a bang - the pores are clean, the complexion is fresh. Price: $30 Rating: 5+

5. La Roche-Posay Hydraphase Masque – Intensive hydration mask

The manufacturer promises This is the first and so far the only moisturizing mask in my arsenal. I decided to start additionally moisturizing my skin after I read that the skin can produce a lot of oil when there is not enough natural hydration (as a reaction to drying products for oily skin). I bought this particular mask because of the price, convenient size and good reviews. I use the mask after Clarins peeling and leave it on for longer than expected. After which I remove the excess with a napkin and go to bed. I don’t apply night cream on top. The skin receives the necessary hydration and feels comfortable. Nothing more to add. Rating: 5 (I’ve already bought it 2 times, but I’ll probably look for a replacement) Price: 15,280 bel. rub. = 150 rub. (in Russia it seems to be cheaper)

Thank you for your attention. I hope my post will help someone with their choice.
