Velvet facial skin at home. Velvety skin, how to make your skin velvety

Beauty and HealthBody care

As you know, there are different skin types, but each of us wants to have velvety and delicate skin, and at any age.

Skin care, many women understand how to use purchased products - creams, gels, lotions and masks, and this is great - good cosmetics can preserve the beauty and youth of the skin for a long time. However, it is not so easy to find and buy such cosmetics: they exist, but in the ocean of cosmetics offered by many companies, it is difficult to navigate, and advertising is not always worth believing. Unfortunately, bright and beautiful packaging often hides chemical components and even outright fakes, and we first spend money on cosmetics and then on eliminating the consequences of its use.

How to make your skin velvety at home

You need to learn to understand cosmetics, and you shouldn’t waste money on it if you are confident in the quality, but in addition, you should use homemade and folk recipes - your wallet won’t suffer, and your skin will always be fresh and velvety.

Homemade cosmetics made from decoctions and infusions of herbs and food always helps

– you just need to take everything fresh and the best, and not use what’s lying around in the refrigerator.

Dairy products are healthy not only from the inside, but also from the outside, and women have used them since ancient times: probably everyone knows about the bath of Cleopatra or Sabina Poppaea, the wife of Emperor Nero.

The latter bathed daily in whole donkey milk, and Cleopatra took baths with milk (1-2 l), honey (2-3 tbsp) and oil. We can choose any fatty oil, but it is better to take jojoba essential oil - it is called unique, since it has a very high penetrating ability and many medicinal properties. It is enough to take 10 ml of oil; mix all the ingredients, pour into a bath of water and stir until the mixture dissolves; Take a bath for 15-20 minutes - the skin will become velvety and soft.

Skin cleansing

In order for the skin to better accept care, it must be thoroughly cleansed.

– You can use a scrub 1-2 times a week. Even Hollywood stars like a coffee scrub: you need to mix natural ground coffee (½ cup) with olive oil (2 tsp) and honey (1 tsp). This scrub exfoliates gently - you can apply it to the neck and other delicate areas of the body: it is better to do this in a sauna or regular bath, when the skin is steamed and the pores are open. In the sauna you need to take coarse salt - sea or regular salt, and mineral water.

First, the face and body are steamed, and then the entire body is quickly but carefully rubbed with coarse salt, without touching areas with delicate skin. Salt should not be absorbed into open pores - this can cause swelling, and in general it is harmful; immediately after rubbing, you need to take a warm shower, and only after that use a scrub. First, the mixture is applied to the face, then to the neck and to the whole body - massage in circular motions, along massage lines, patiently and carefully - for 10-20 seconds in each small area, then wait a few minutes, and wash with warm water and gel (cream) For shower. Mineral water is used to rinse the face and body: there is no need to dry yourself - leave the sauna and wait until all the skin is dry. After the first procedure, the skin will become velvety to the touch, acquire a healthy color and slightly tighten.

A mask with potatoes and sour cream will make your skin soft and velvety.

. You need to peel 2-3 raw potatoes, grate them on a fine grater and mix with 200 g of rich village sour cream. Apply the mixture all over the body, especially problem areas with rough skin, and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water without soap, then apply moisturizer.

How to make your skin smooth and velvety

Even if you have a couple of extra pounds, but your skin is smooth and velvety, you will still look luxurious and attractive. Unfortunately, cosmetic companies have not yet invented a product that, with the wave of a magic wand, would give your skin an even and smooth texture. To achieve this, you need to regularly perform a number of beauty procedures, which I WANT to tell you about below.

Rating: 4.5 out of 5 based on 2 votes

Nutrition and sports

We will never tire of repeating that you can preserve and restore the beauty of your skin with two things: proper balanced nutrition and regular exercise. If you strictly follow this rule, you may not need anything else. Eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, drink plenty of clean water, take vitamins and go to sports at least 2-3 times a week.

Dry brush massage

A massage with a dry brush made of natural bristles not only replaces an anti-cellulite massage, this procedure exfoliates dead cells, stimulates the lymphatic system and detoxifies the skin. Every morning before your shower, give yourself a full body massage for 5 minutes and within a couple of weeks you will notice improvements not only in the appearance of your skin, but also in your overall well-being. Self-massage is carried out as follows: start massaging the skin of your feet in a circular motion, smoothly moving up to your legs, hips, stomach, back and arms. All movement should go upward, towards the heart.

Water treatments

Regular shower gels can be very drying to the skin, so when taking a shower or bath, choose cleansers based on oils or other moisturizing and nourishing ingredients.

In the photo: aromatic shower cream Innocence Violette from Les Secret De Boudoir (price - 60 UAH), shower gel with argan oil from Cottage (price - 70 UAH), shower oil "Almond" from L'Occitane (price - from 99 UAH to 300 UAH depending on volume), gentle shower cream Bonne Mere from L'Occitane (price – 249 UAH), shower oil “Rhythms of the Sea” from GUAM (price – 275 UAH), foaming shower oil from Organic Shop (price – 78 UAH), shower oil from Attirance (price – 40 UAH), silky bathing cream Spa Resort Hawaii from Dr Irena Eris (price – 279 UAH), nourishing shower cream Talasso from Collistar (price – 184 UAH ).

Scrubbing

It is very important to scrub your entire body 1-2 times a week. This procedure will remove dead cells from the surface of the skin and prepare it for further hydration. In addition, scrubs based on sea salt have an excellent draining effect, and their sugar counterparts perfectly polish the skin.

In the photo: “Milk and Banana” shower gel scrub from Dolce Milk (price – 65 UAH), exfoliating body cream with Peau Neuve bamboo powder from Clarins (price – 368 UAH), anti-cellulite body scrub “Honey and Lemon” from Home Recipes (price – 56 UAH).

Hydration and nutrition

After each shower or bath, do not forget to apply special products to your skin. You can choose basic cosmetic products that are aimed at moisturizing and nourishing, and if necessary, you can use lotions and creams that tighten and strengthen the skin. They will not only hydrate your skin, but will also help it remain firm and elastic.

Baths for velvety skin

Baths also help to achieve velvety skin; in addition, they tone and improve your mood.

. An orange bath is suitable for citrus fruit lovers: grate orange zest (3 pieces), mix with freshly squeezed orange juice (2 cups), add olive oil (2 tbsp), pour everything into the bath and mix. Take a bath 1-2 times a week.

A bath with soda and fruit puree is very famous among lovers of smooth and velvety skin.

. Fresh fruits of different types (5 pieces) must be peeled and pitted, beat them in a blender, mixed with baking soda (4-5 tbsp), and stir the pulp in a bath of water. Take 2 times a week; take 7 or 10 baths in total, then take a 2-week break, and repeat the course if necessary. Such baths also help to cope with cellulite.

You can take fruit baths no earlier than 2 hours after meals, for 30-40 minutes, but if blood circulation is impaired, they are contraindicated. Water temperature - no higher than 36-37°C.

Baths and masks for velvety skin

These are the two main ways to make the epithelium peach in terms of a pleasant-to-touch surface. Speaking about baths, we should first of all mention a recipe that was actively used in her time by Queen Cleopatra, the conqueror of men’s hearts. The crowned lady took a bath with milk, butter and honey. You will need 1-2 liters of natural cow's milk (if you can get goat's milk, it will be just great!), a few tbsp. natural bee honey and 10 ml of any base oil. Combine the ingredients and pour into a container with warm water. Stir until they dissolve in the liquid and enjoy an otherwise pleasant procedure for 20 minutes.

Make your skin velvety with a toning bath. It activates metabolic processes in the epidermis and saturates the body with beneficial vitamins and antioxidants. The best option for this procedure is orange. The zest of three oranges is crushed using a fine grater or blender and added to fresh orange juice (a couple of glasses is enough). Pour 1 tbsp into the resulting mixture. olive, almond or avocado oil. Place the fruit mix in a bath of water and mix thoroughly. You can take a tonic bath for about 20-30 minutes several times a week.

Now a few words about masks. The egg-honey beauty product will give the skin a velvety feel and smooth out wrinkles. Ingredients: 1 tsp. honey, 1 raw egg yolk, 6 drops of rosehip essential oil. They should be mixed and the mask applied to cleansed skin of the face, neck and décolleté. After 10 minutes, rinse off.

For oily skin types, a mask made from tomato and starch will make the epithelium peachy. You will need 1 ripe tomato, a little potato starch, 5 drops of vegetable oil, such as corn. The tomato needs to be grated, removing the skin. Add starch to the liquid mass, achieving a uniform consistency of thick sour cream. The finishing touch is vegetable oil. Mix. Leave the mask on the skin for 20 minutes, then rinse with warm water. To achieve the desired effect, you will need to repeat the procedure up to 20 times, 3-4 times a week.

Take care of your body with love, choose only the best and natural things for it. As a result, others will envy your skin!

Velvet skin is every woman's dream. It’s good when we purposefully spend our time and money on constantly maintaining the good condition of the skin of our face and body. But if suddenly a situation arises when we need to restore beauty in a matter of days - before an important date, a visit to the pool or the opening of the beach season - we need emergency measures.

To restore velvety skin, we need a whole range of urgent measures, including cleansing, moisturizing, and nutrition. You shouldn’t rely on ready-made cosmetics, which, as a rule, are designed for a prolonged effect - we want to get everything at once. That is why we will use effective folk methods to make the skin velvety.

Essential oils for velvety skin

Since ancient times, essential oils have helped women maintain beautiful and velvety skin.

: Rose oil has always been considered one of the best - you can use it to make masks, massage, take baths, and prepare homemade cosmetics. You can add oil to shower gel - the skin will smooth out, become tender and soft.

You can add oils to regular creams and body milk, and rub them into the skin after a shower or bath, gently and carefully - the skin will look fresh and beautiful.

Facial skin requires separate and more thorough care

– our face is always open and exposed to a variety of environmental influences. And here, too, dairy products help perfectly: yoghurt stimulates skin regeneration, cottage cheese strengthens its cells, cream nourishes and smoothes out fine wrinkles, kefir cleanses and refreshes.

Buttermilk perfectly nourishes and protects dry skin

– it contains a lot of lecithin, which renews damaged cells and has a pronounced antioxidant effect. We don’t have buttermilk on our farm, but you can buy it in stores, although it’s better to try to make a substitute at home: pour lemon juice (1 tbsp) into a measuring glass, and then add milk to the 225 ml mark and Stir – in 5 minutes the product will be ready.

What can we do for the skin ourselves?

In addition to using cosmetics, the choice of which is very large, you can use simple methods at home to maintain beauty and make your skin velvety. For this purpose, well-known products that are usually available at home, as well as a number of cosmetic oils, essential and basic, which can be purchased at the pharmacy, are suitable.

First of all, it is important to take care of the cleanliness of the integumentary tissues, and we are not talking about regular hygiene, but about additional cleansing or peeling. This question becomes more relevant the older you get, since natural renewal processes slow down with age. As a result, cells that have completed their cycle, instead of exfoliating on their own, linger on the surface of the skin and provoke the formation of phenomena such as peeling, thickening, coarsening of the epidermis, the creation of creases and deep wrinkles. Regular scrubbing is an excellent preventive measure for such phenomena. For young skin, it is important to carry out this procedure 1-2 times a week. For older people, it is worth focusing on this process 2-4 times a week, but with softer exfoliating agents and subsequent nutrition!

For home scrubbing, you can make a composition based on base oil (olive, corn, flaxseed, peach, almond) with the addition of ground coffee or cane sugar, as well as sea salt. For greater scrub density, you can use palm or jojoba oil.

The second step in achieving velvety skin is maintaining its hydration. Not only ladies of a delicate age, but also young lovers of active tanning often face the problem of dryness. To help your body maintain the tenderness of the integumentary tissues, it is important to maintain a drinking regime, include drinks with freshly squeezed juices of fruits and vegetables in your diet, and also more often pamper your skin with compresses containing these products. To carry out the procedure, just soak natural cotton fabric or gauze with juice and wrap the areas that concern you most for 20-30 minutes, then take a warm shower and gently blot the moisture on your body with a towel. No need to apply cream. A squeeze of carrots, pumpkin, celery, parsley, cucumber, watermelon, cabbage, tomatoes, and potatoes works well in this situation.

At the third stage it is worth adding food. To maintain softness and velvety skin, masks based on heavy cream, sour cream and kefir are perfect. The latter is especially good to use on rough, dense areas of the epidermis that are prone to peeling. The applied product must be kept on the body for about half an hour. On the face, if you are prone to increased oiliness, you should also use 1% kefir to prevent clogged pores.

All three stages can be performed separately or combined in a way that is convenient for you, for example, assigning a specific day of the week to each procedure.

Masks for velvety skin

We try to consume less sugar, but masks and peels with it turn out to be beneficial for the skin - it is better to take fine brown sugar, but you can also use regular sugar. In order to exfoliate the face, you need to use a mixture of 1 tsp. sugar and 2 tsp. whipped cream: apply to face, massage lightly for 2-3 minutes, and after 5-10 minutes wash with warm water. You can do this peeling for the whole body: you need to take 5 tablespoons of sugar and 50 g of cream.

A nourishing mask is made from cream and flour

: whipped cream (50 g) is mixed with flour (1 tbsp), and the mixture is applied to the face for half an hour - this “cream” gives the skin velvety and elasticity.

Honey is a very useful product in all respects, and it acts like a balm on the skin.

: moisturizes, relieves inflammation, nourishes, gives elasticity, stimulates regeneration and smoothes. You can use honey lotion every day: dissolve 1 tbsp in a glass of warm water. honey, and wipe your face with the mixture for a few minutes, then wash with cool water - you can do this twice a day, and the skin will stop inflaming.

Wrinkle-smoothing mask

: add 1 tsp to the raw yolk. honey, rosehip oil – 5-6 drops, mix and apply on face and neck for half an hour. Wash with cool water.

Masks with chocolate are very useful for dry and normal skin

: they moisturize, nourish and protect it, restoring its softness and elasticity. The chocolate should be melted in a water bath, and other ingredients should be added to it - you can take cream, vegetable oil, egg yolk, sour cream, fruit and berry puree, oatmeal, etc. For oily skin, add lemon juice or cosmetic clay to the chocolate.

Velvet skin? Body milk EO laboratorie “Velvet skin”. Just a promise or...

Hello!

I would like to share my impressions of EO laboratorie “Velvet Skin” body milk.

For a long time, I didn’t pay any attention to this brand of cosmetics, although reviews on Cosmetist sometimes appeared on it. I read it and noticed that the composition of the products was quite good, but there was no particular impetus to purchase. I bought it by accident and was filling out my shopping cart for the free shipping amount. I saw a ripe apricot on a bottle in the photo and threw it into the basket. I love apricots. That's my strange motivation.

Now about the tool itself:

Package:

Convenient bottle, good quality dispenser. Doesn't spit. There is nothing outstanding in the packaging (and there is no need for it), just normal packaging with a good dispenser. The dispenser can be closed. That's a plus. For example, when getting ready to go to the bathhouse. Milk volume 250 ml.

The product itself:

The first thing that impressed me was the aroma. He's simply amazing! Apricots, or more precisely, apricot kernels dried in the sun. It has a little sweetness. After the bright aroma of the seeds, it smells slightly like herbs. Leaves a pleasant haze on the skin. The aroma lasts a long time. I only use milk at night. I hear him in the morning. But very, very subtle. The bed linen also smells. The consistency is a little thicker than milk should be, in my opinion. But we must pay tribute, the product spreads very easily and is quickly absorbed. It won't streak. No stickiness. At all. Accordingly, it does not stain clothes. You can use it in the morning. No discomfort.

Now about the skin after use: the milk suited me perfectly. I have normal body skin, only my knees and elbows tend to be dry. Milk nourishes the skin. There is a cumulative effect, and I see it. The skin is moisturized, well-nourished, “bursting with health,” so to speak. I don’t know what other words to choose. Indeed, after several uses it becomes smoother, velvety, and homogeneous. If you use it after being in the sun, it really calms and nourishes the skin.

Swatch:

To sum it up: the milk is very cool. What a pity that I didn't meet him earlier. I already bought a double, the hamster is not sleeping. Also, two weeks ago I bought shower oil of the same brand, I also really liked it, so far my hand only reaches for it, in the mornings and evenings. Now I plan to get acquainted with other body products. The price of the funds allows you to roam.

Proper nutrition

Proper nutrition is very important to maintain velvety and soft skin.

– you need to eat what your skin likes and give up those foods that have a bad effect on its health and beauty. Eat fresh fruits and vegetables, and as much as possible raw, drink freshly squeezed juices - fruit and vegetable, eat whole grain cereals, natural dairy products, wholemeal bread, nuts, legumes, seafood, fresh fish and lean meats, natural vegetable oils and animal fats. It’s better to drink green tea, compotes and fruit drinks, and avoid coffee and soda - they definitely won’t add velvety to the skin, but they can ruin the complexion.

One of the best foods for velvety skin is peach.

– Scientists have recently confirmed this property: the substances contained in peaches perfectly nourish the skin and prevent the appearance of wrinkles. Love peaches, and your skin will become as soft, tender and velvety as the peel of these sweet and aromatic fruits, sung by oriental poets.

Velvet skin... perfectly smooth and well-groomed, soft and silky. She attracts the admiring glances of men and significantly increases women's self-esteem. Such skin occurs either in lovely young girls or in wealthy, well-groomed women who visit spas and expensive cosmetologists.

Dry skin is thin, pale, prone to flaking and dehydration, wrinkles, and often sensitive. Normal skin is matte, firm, elastic. Oily skin is dense with enlarged pores and an oily sheen, prone to the formation of comedones and inflammatory elements. Combination skin is normal skin with some areas of increased oiliness (forehead, nose, chin).

As you probably already guessed, velvety facial skin is normal skin, therefore, this is the ideal we need to strive for. You just have to do this in different ways and means, taking into account your skin type.

Velvet facial skin: how to achieve the desired effect

The overall strategic skin care plan remains the same: cleanse, tone, moisturize, nourish. But the tactics in each specific case may differ significantly.

Dry skin

Cleaning

Wash with boiled or melt water; Refresh your skin with micellar water throughout the day. It not only cleanses, but also tones the skin without disturbing its hydrolipid balance. To remove makeup, use soft cream-based products: emulsion, cosmetic milk or cream.

A scrub for dry, thin skin should be very gentle. At home, you can use coffee grounds with honey and olive oil. Gentle peeling removes the surface layer of cells, renews the skin and improves metabolism. One peel per week will be enough.

Peeling for dry skin

Mix 1 tbsp. coffee grounds or fresh ground coffee with 1 tsp. honey, add 1 tbsp. olive oil. Apply the resulting mass to your face in a circular motion along the massage lines. Leave for 5-10 minutes. Rinse off with warm water and apply moisturizer to the skin.

Toning up

Use toners designed specifically for dry skin. They contain softening, moisturizing and toning components: allantoin, bisabolol, B vitamins, plant extracts.

It is useful to wipe the skin with herbal decoctions: chamomile, linden, mint, lemon balm.

Toner for velvety skin

Linden flowers – 1 tbsp. Honey – 1 tsp.

Pour a glass of boiling water over the linden blossom. Leave for 1 hour. Add honey, strain.

Moisturize

We choose high-quality moisturizing creams and natural remedies: diluted aloe juice (1:1), ice cubes, cucumber juice. We make masks from strawberries and red grapes. Don't forget to drink enough fluids, especially during the hot season.

We feed

Paraffin mask for velvety facial skin

Paraffin therapy, which you can do yourself, gives good results. To do this, prepare pure medical or cosmetic paraffin and gauze masks.

Melt the paraffin in a water bath, remove from heat and cool - the paraffin should be warm enough, but not hot! Dip the gauze mask in liquid paraffin and place it on your face until it cools completely. Before the procedure, the skin needs to be cleaned, preferably lightly steamed. Check the paraffin temperature on the inside of your wrist. After 20 minutes, remove the mask and apply nourishing cream to your face.

Course – 12 procedures 3 times a week

Nourishing mask for dry skin

Yolk of one egg. Peach or grape seed oil – 1 tbsp. Chopped oatmeal – 1 tsp.

Mix the ingredients thoroughly and apply the nourishing mask to your face, as if rubbing it into the skin. Action time: 15-20 minutes. Then remove the remaining fat with a napkin and wash with warm water.

To give dry skin velvety softness, use oil lotions - daily or every other day, in courses of 10 to 20 days.

Oriental lotion

Honey – 50 ml of honey Almond oil (can be peach, wheat germ, jojoba) – 100 g Orange or grapefruit essential oil – 5 drops.

Mix the ingredients until smooth. Apply to skin for 20 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Oil lotion

Sesame oil - 50 ml. Olive and almond oils – 15 ml each. Rose essential oil – 5 drops.

Mix all the oils well, apply the resulting composition to the skin slightly warm. After 20 minutes, blot your face with a napkin.

How to make your skin velvety?

Take half a glass of natural ground coffee, mix it with a teaspoon of honey and two teaspoons of olive oil. Since the resulting scrub has a very mild exfoliating effect, it can be used for delicate facial skin and delicate areas (inner thigh, neck).

The intended procedure is best carried out in a bathhouse or sauna. When going there, take with you coarse salt, a prepared finely abrasive scrub and a bottle of mineral water.

After the skin of the face and body has steamed, rub the body, starting from the shoulders down, avoiding delicate areas, with coarse salt, do it quickly so that the salt does not have time to be absorbed through enlarged pores (this can lead to swelling). Quickly rinse off the salt and begin treating your face and entire body with the prepared gentle scrub, thoroughly massaging your face along the massage lines, and your body with rotational movements, treating every 2-3 square meters. cm of the body from 10 to 20 seconds.

After you have scrubbed your body, stay in the steam room a little longer and let the honey and olive oil soak in. Then rinse off the scrub with hot water and soap with a neutral pH, and at the end, wash your face and body with mineral water, and do not dry yourself. Leave the sauna and let the mineral water dry.

Pay attention to the condition of your skin - it has tightened, become soft and velvety. You can use this type of care no more than twice a week, and to maintain the achieved effect, use homemade cosmetics.

Remember that the beauty of our skin depends not only on the intensity of care; diet and the amount of water you drink play a huge role. Often, increased dry skin does not indicate a lack of nutrients, but rather an insufficient amount of moisture, so drink more and use moisturizers.

How to make your skin velvety with nutrition?

Don’t forget that the atmosphere around us is also responsible for our beautiful appearance, because the dry air of offices and modern apartments, which are literally crammed with various equipment that causes heating and reduces the level of humidity, literally dries out the skin. If you can’t do anything about this at work, then you can buy an air humidifier for your home.

  • An excellent solution for everyday skin care can be the use of thermal water.
  • Try to eat more foods containing vitamins A, D, E. But if you understand that you still have not achieved the desired result, try finding hylauronic acid preparations in cosmetic stores.
  • If dry skin is not too pronounced, instead of special vitamin complexes, you can drink fish oil on an empty stomach; although it is unpleasant, it perfectly restores the skin and helps fight free radicals.
  • For particularly severe cases, specialized cosmetic procedures, such as microcurrent therapy, which improves metabolic processes, will help return velvety skin.

Try paraffin therapy - your skin will love it!

In general, if you ask yourself how to make your skin velvety, you can find many recipes, and as it turns out, thermal procedures help restore the skin - for example, paraffin therapy, which can be done at home.

For this you will need:

  1. the purest medical paraffin, which can be purchased at the pharmacy,
  2. multi-layer gauze mask.

Heat the paraffin in a water bath, soak the mask in the paraffin and apply to previously cleansed or steamed facial skin until the paraffin cools. Be careful to check the temperature of the paraffin on the back of your hand, at the crook of your elbow.

After paraffin therapy, apply a decoction of chamomile or chamomile to the skin of your face, or even better, treat the skin with a healing cube from a decoction of these herbs.

Varied care and careful treatment of the skin always pay off handsomely - the skin of those women who spare no time for constant care always looks beautiful and young!

This type of mask is perhaps the most effective. Currently, there is a huge assortment of cosmetic clay, which you can easily find in almost any pharmacy or specialized cosmetic store.

Each type of clay has its own properties, which you can learn about by reading the detailed instructions on the package. There you will also find instructions for use, as well as the proportions of warm water in which the powdered contents should be diluted.

We will only note that in cases where the intensity of sebum formation on your face is not very high, then you should purchase light varieties of clay. Darker types are suitable for very oily skin. Typically, leave this mask on your face for about half an hour, and then wash it off and apply a moisturizer of your choice.

For example, you can use a homemade lemon-based tonic. To prepare it, place chopped lemon in a glass of mineral water, close tightly and leave for 4 hours.

Then apply the product to the skin using a sponge. Clay masks should be used no more than twice a week, and you can wash your face with this tonic in the morning and evening every day.

Masks for velvety facial skin

For oily and combination skin, we use components that not only tighten pores and make the skin matte, but also actively nourish it.

Yeast mask

Dilute baker's yeast (20 g) with low-fat kefir or whey until the consistency of sour cream. Apply the composition to the skin along the massage lines. After 10 minutes, complete the procedure with a contrast wash.

This mask not only dries and tightens the skin, but also nourishes it with B vitamins.

Cosmetic clay mask

White or blue clay (kaolin) – 2 tbsp. Grapefruit or lemon juice – 1 tsp. Honey – 1 tsp. Ylag-ylang essential oil – 5 drops.

We combine all the ingredients and apply the mask to the face, excluding the area around the eyes, for 10-15 minutes (for combination skin, we act only on the T-zone). Kaolin saturates cells with minerals, thereby healing the skin and improving its appearance.

After a course of drying and cleansing masks, you can treat yourself to a series of chocolate treatments that improve the color and texture of the skin.

Universal chocolate mask

For dry and combination skin, a mask made from cocoa with cream or any vegetable oil is suitable. For oily skin, it is better to add lemon juice, clay or oatmeal to cocoa.

Recipe for dry and normal skin

Cocoa powder – 1 tbsp. or dark chocolate melted in a water bath - 2 tbsp. Egg yolk – 1 pc. Honey – 1 tsp. Cream or sour cream

Combine cocoa with yolk and honey, stir well. Add cream, sour cream or milk to form a thick mass. Apply the mask to the skin and leave for 10-15 minutes. After the chocolate mask, the skin acquires a beautiful golden hue.

Recipe for oily and combination skin

Cocoa powder – 2 tsp. White clay – 2 tsp. Oatmeal – 2 tsp.

Mix everything, dilute with low-fat milk, kefir or cold green tea. After ten minutes, rinse off the mask with warm water.

Care to achieve velvety skin ↑

We all know that beauty is, first of all, daily work with yourself and your skin, hair, and so on. Even the most ideal natural characteristics are not able to maintain their original perfection without proper care. What can we say about those cases when we are faced, for example, with excessively oily skin, the characteristic shine of which is quite difficult to get rid of.

In order to successfully combat such skin imperfections and get truly beautiful, velvety skin, you need to follow some rules for caring for it, using homemade masks regularly. As a result, your face will acquire a matte texture and at the same time retain a slight shine, which is especially difficult to achieve in the summer.

So, let's start with perhaps the most common reason why our skin does not look silky - improper washing procedure. The fact is that many girls use only ordinary solid soap. In fact, this approach quite strongly provokes the production of fat in our skin.

It turns out that at first we feel some dryness, but later it gives way to excessive oiliness. To avoid this, you need to use special cosmetics for washing. They usually contain various acids that perfectly suppress the production of sebum and make the face velvety.

After such washing, it is recommended to apply a special tonic to the skin that does not contain alcohol. This product will make your pores a little smaller and also normalize the level of acidity that has established after using the cleanser.

By the way, quite often such tonics contain substances that prevent the formation of acne and inflammation, as well as ensure proper hydration of the skin.

If you are used to using additional moisturizers, then pay attention to the ingredients - there should be no oils among them. When applying them to your face, follow the following rule: the drier the skin area, the more substance you need to use and vice versa. This approach will normalize the oil content of the skin and make it the same over the entire area.

Every modern woman uses cosmetics every day, so you also need to focus on this point. It is best to use products that are originally intended for oily skin. Typically, they contain components that regulate fat production.

In addition, they contain practically no oils, which has a beneficial effect on the process of getting rid of oily shine and making the skin velvety.

To maintain the velvety appearance of your skin, use mattifying wipes throughout the day. You can find them at a pharmacy or a specialized cosmetic store. They are quite thin paper with a special powdery substance on its surface.

You just need to gently blot the problem area of your face with such a napkin, and it will absorb excess oil, making it matte. Interestingly, this procedure does not affect your makeup in any way, so you can easily use mattifying wipes even when you are away from home.

If we are talking about achieving a permanent silky skin effect, then we cannot do without exfoliation procedures. It is best to use a scrub or peeling that has a gentle effect. Such products act very gently, which is just right for us, because severe damage to the skin will make it more shiny. Exfoliation should be done twice a week.

Lifestyle

Ideal skin requires not only a caring attitude, but also a review of a woman’s entire lifestyle. A good complexion is incompatible with lack of sleep, smoking, fast food and chronic stress. Here are some recommendations that will help you look fresh and irresistible at any age:

Drink more fluids , give preference to mineral water, green and herbal teas. It is better to avoid strong black tea and coffee. Eat healthy and fresh foods . The basis of the diet is whole grain cereals, vegetables, fruits, fish and seafood, and lactic acid products. Spend more time outdoors , lead an active lifestyle. Get enough sleep. Try to go to bed at the same time and spend at least 7 hours in Morpheus’s arms. Give up bad habits , practice moderation and be optimistic.

And a couple more tips...

Add essential oils to moisturizing and nourishing creams for daily care: patchouli, neroli, ylang-ylang, roses: 5 drops per 5 g of base (cream or transport oil). Make masks from peach pulp, which is recognized as one of the best remedies for velvety skin. Moreover, juicy fruits should be consumed both internally and externally.

Masks at home

We try to consume less sugar, but homemade masks and peels with it turn out to be beneficial for the skin - it is better to take fine brown sugar, but you can also use regular sugar.

A nourishing mask for the skin is made from cream and flour: whipped cream (50 g) is mixed with flour (1 tbsp), and the mixture is applied to the face for half an hour - this “cream” gives the skin velvety and elasticity.

Honey is a very useful product in all respects, and it acts on the skin like a balm: moisturizes, relieves inflammation, nourishes, gives elasticity and velvety, stimulates regeneration and smoothes. Oatmeal relieves inflammation and treats problematic skin; you can wash your face with oatmeal every day. Simply take some crushed flakes, soak them in hot water to soften them, and apply to your face. Or take half a glass of oatmeal and pour a glass of boiling water. Leave the mixture until it cools, then apply to your face, leave for a few minutes and rinse with warm water.

To make the skin velvety, this procedure includes professional body wraps for the entire body. Berry compositions, in particular with lingonberries and cranberries, perfectly strengthen the skin, make it firmer, more elastic, smooth out small unevenness and soften it, among other things, increasing skin immunity. Wraps with cosmetic chocolate help fight the effects of active tanning, restoring the structure of the epidermis; with seaweed, they deeply moisturize and initiate the processes of natural lymphatic drainage of the skin, which is also very important for preserving and restoring its youth and velvety appearance.

Excellent procedures for improving the condition of the skin in general, and for softening it in particular, are vacuum and lymphatic drainage massage. Both of these types of effects improve vascular capacity, restore metabolic processes in tissues, allowing them to receive all the necessary nutrients and maintaining the rate of cell renewal.

3 anti-cellulite scrubs with amazing aroma and miraculous properties

Mix a tablespoon of candied honey with five drops of orange or tangerine oil. Rub into the skin with intense movements for about 10-15 minutes. If there are no oils, add yolk to the scrub. Rinse off with warm water. Mix 3 tablespoons of coffee grounds with 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Apply the mixture to steamed skin. Carry out the procedure 2 times a week. Before making this scrub, cleanse your skin with a mixture of kefir and olive oil using a cotton swab. After this, scoop up salt with a tampon and rub it into the skin until it turns red.

After all skin cleansing and polishing procedures, it is very important to apply a moisturizing or nourishing cream to your face. This will not only prevent drying and flaking of the skin, but will also enhance the effectiveness of the cream. After all, when the pores on the face are cleaned, nutrients can penetrate much deeper into the skin tissue.

Regular exfoliation of the facial skin, as well as sufficient hydration, are the main helpers in the question of how to make facial skin smooth. Of course, proper nutrition also plays an important role, so by eliminating spicy, fatty and sweet foods, you will achieve the desired effect much faster.

Proper cleansing

To keep your skin velvety, it is very important to cleanse it properly. To do this, you can use a scrub 1-2 times a week.

A homemade mask with potatoes and sour cream will make your skin soft and velvety.

How to make with oils

Since ancient times, essential oils have helped women preserve their beauty and make their skin velvety: rose oil has always been considered one of the best - you can use it to make masks, massage, take baths, and prepare homemade cosmetics. You can add oil to shower gel - the skin will smooth out, become tender and soft.

You can add oils to regular creams and body milk, and rub them into the skin after a shower or bath, gently and carefully - the skin will look fresh, velvety and beautiful.

Facial skin requires separate and more careful care - our face is always open and exposed to a variety of environmental influences. And here, too, dairy products help perfectly: yoghurt stimulates skin regeneration, cottage cheese strengthens its cells, cream nourishes and smoothes out fine wrinkles, kefir cleanses and refreshes.

Buttermilk perfectly nourishes and protects dry skin - it contains a lot of lecithin, which renews damaged cells and has a pronounced antioxidant effect. We don’t have buttermilk on our farm, but you can buy it in stores, although it’s better to try to make a substitute at home: pour lemon juice (1 tbsp) into a measuring glass, and then add milk to the 225 ml mark and Stir – in 5 minutes the product will be ready.

Let's open the original image. Let's get this girl ready for a shoot for a glossy magazine.

Ctrl+J key combination twice.

.

Let's make the middle layer active ( Layer 1

) and change its blending mode to “
Dark Change
”.

Let's go to " Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur"

«.

In the window that appears, set the radius to about 40 pixels.

Set the opacity of the middle layer to around 40%.

Let's go to the top layer ( Layer 1 (copy)

) and set its blending mode to “
Lighten
”.

Let's go again to " Filter - Blur - Gaussian Blur"

«.

In the filter window, set the value to about 60 pixels.

This is the image we have so far.

Let's create a new layer by clicking on the second icon from the right in the Layers

«.

Turn off the visibility of the main (lowest) layer by clicking on the “eye” to the left of the layer thumbnail and pressing the key combination Shift+Ctrl+Alt+E

.
Thus, we copied the contents of the layers - “ Layer 1
” and “
Layer 1 (copy)
” to a new layer (
Layer 2
).

«Layer 1

" and "
Layer 1 (copy)
" we no longer need, so we simply drag them onto the trash can icon (the rightmost icon in the
Layers
). We only have two layers left.

Turn on the visibility of the bottom layer and reduce the opacity of the top layer to about 30-40%. The higher the opacity you set, the more the girl’s skin will acquire a “plastic” effect. Therefore, at this stage, the main thing is not to overdo it and make the skin look natural, while maintaining its structure.

Here is our photo. The appearance of the skin has improved significantly, color transitions are no longer visible, its tone has smoothed out. But at the same time, the rest of the image deteriorated significantly. We'll fix that now.

Click on the third icon from the left in the Layers

". A white mask will appear on the top layer.

Select the Brush

(
IN
). Set the hardness to zero, take a brush with blurred edges, and select the required diameter. Set the Foreground color to black.

Now use a brush to outline the entire image, with the exception of the facial skin. As you work, you will need to change the diameter of the brush. The easiest way to do this is using square brackets - [

And
]
. Here's what I got. As you can see, the image has not changed, with the exception of the skin of the face, which is now pleasant to look at and even wants to touch!

It will be faster. Well, all actions can be put into an action and done by pressing one key ;-). Well, after the last lesson, catch up on the structure, otherwise you will be a rubber doll.
