I managed to convince Andrei (director of the film Andrei Kravchuk - Ed.) to use these expressions in the script so that the heroine’s speech would be similar to the manner of conversation characteristic of Timireva. In addition, I began to study French. Although this is not my first role where I had to play in French. It seems to me that I simply have to speak it.

— You approached your work thoroughly...

“It was necessary to study everything that surrounded the people of that time, what was natural for them. I also learned to ride in a woman’s saddle and master a woman’s saddle, because the film was originally supposed to have a horse riding scene. Then it was removed, and my skills, unfortunately, were not needed.

— Have you talked to Timireva’s relatives?

— This is when we were filming a sledding scene in Zvenigorod, where the children and I were flying from a snowy mountain.
