A little about the prince
On July 22, 2013, Prince George of Cambridge was born. In England, this event was celebrated on a grand scale, numerous relatives congratulated the happy parents, and the culprit of the commotion rested peacefully, wrapped in snow-white diapers.
The birth of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's first child was celebrated with a 41-volley salute. Time passed, the heir to the throne grew up, his sister Charlotte was born, and later his brother Louis.

Two photographs of the prince laughing and smiling in an England football team jersey were taken in the gardens of Kensington Palace, the official residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The third photo is during a family vacation. All photographs were taken by the Duchess of Cambridge herself.

The little prince's mother loves tennis, and at the beginning of July, George was taught a little lesson by Roger Federer on the court in the Duchess's parents' garden in Bucklebury in Berkshire.
The Swiss tennis player said that George is very nice and that he has a good swing.

Photos of the future king
Little George's birthday was celebrated in different ways at different times. For example, in 2014, when the boy was one year old, his parents took him to the Natural History Museum. The photo, posted on the Internet, quickly gained popularity. After all, the charming little boy in denim overalls with red fluff on his head is so funny and cute!
1.5 months before their eldest son’s second birthday, his parents gave him a little sister, Charlotte. The little princess was born on May 2, 2015, and this photo was taken on July 22, George's birthday. The prince holds his little sister in his arms, it looks very sweet and touching.

Third birthday in Norfolk. The royal heir sits on a swing, wearing simple denim shorts and a T-shirt. As always, the boy smiles, looking at the camera, and his eyes seem a little sleepy. Perhaps Prince George, due to his age, just really wanted to sleep? But despite this, the future king beams with a smile.
Another year has passed and Prince George has turned four. The photo was taken at Kensington Palace. This is what a happy, cheerful child looks like. A prerequisite is a smile from ear to ear, sparkles in the eyes and a face expressing pleasure.
The child celebrates his first little anniversary. As you guessed, Queen Elizabeth's great-grandson is five years old. And again, a smile from ear to ear, most likely, the prince was photographed after sorting out the gifts. And the presents in the royal family, forgive the tautology, are royal, that’s for sure!

By the way, the prince is dressed simply wonderful. Modest, inconspicuous, but the cost of his shirt and trousers is very, very decent, this can be seen from the quality of the material.
Sixth Anniversary Day, 2020. Prince George is already toothless, but still very happy. The boy is wearing a T-shirt with the logo of the English Sports Club, and the future king's hair is noticeably lighter. And the eyes, as befits the eyes of a child, look slyly at the world around them.
Prince George spent quarantine in Norfolk with his parents, sister and brother. The Duchess of Cambridge personally worked with the children, devoted a lot of time to them, and also taught them to communicate with ordinary people using appropriate online programs. This photo was taken in the garden of the royal house.
George Alexander Louis: Queen Elizabeth II liked the name of her great-grandson
The very next day after returning from the hospital, the great-grandson’s first meeting with his great-grandmother Elizabeth was urgently organized.
Following her, Captain Henry Wells (known throughout the world as Prince Harry) rushed from the military unit to see his new nephew. The night before, Kate's younger sister, Pippa Middleton, with her boyfriend Nico Jackson and her brother James, dropped by to visit the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
At this point, the official part of the beautiful and well-orchestrated ceremonial saga was abruptly cut short, and already at about half past two the family loaded into the same black Range Rover and drove out of the city.
Meanwhile, the Buckingham Palace press office has revealed the final secret of this spectacular three-day teleplay, which was watched by more than 2 billion people around the world. The baby received three names: George, Alexander, Louis. From now on he will be known as Prince George of Cambridge.
While the press was digesting all this latest news, the travelers arrived in the village of Bucklebury (Berkshire), where the estate of the Middletons, Kate's parents, is located and hid behind a high fence that would hide them from prying eyes for a long time.
“The Queen beamed with joy”
Elizabeth II arrived at Kensington Palace at 11 a.m. and spent just over half an hour with her great-grandson. She was without her 92-year-old husband, Prince Philip, who is still recovering from major abdominal surgery in early June.
According to eyewitnesses, on the way back, Her Majesty “beamed with joy” and was clearly in excellent spirits. And how can she not be happy: a large, healthy boy, her mother is in perfect order, her subjects in Great Britain and other countries that she rules are delighted with the heir.
In addition, Kate - just a good girl, respected her grandmother - was not delayed in giving birth and did not disrupt the plans of the queen, who is going on vacation to her Scottish castle, Balmoral, on Friday.
The day before, at a reception at Buckingham Palace, Elizabeth admitted that she was “inspired” by the birth of her first great-grandchild (the others are still only great-grandchildren). She told Will that he is a “big boy” and that “the firstborn is special.”
A name that makes everyone happy
It must be admitted that the parents chose the name for their first-born very prudently. First of all, they pleased the queen, whose Georges were her very beloved father and grandfather - Kings George VI and George V (cousin of Nicholas II). In addition, King George the First was the founder of the Hanoverian dynasty, to which one of the Widsor lines dates back. The name George was also a favorite among bookmakers.
The third name - Louis - also did not arise by chance. This is a gift to Prince William's father and grandfather. This was the name of a close relative of the Queen’s husband, Prince Philip, Louis Mountbatten, who for many years commanded the British fleet. In addition, “Uncle Louis” was Prince Charles’s favorite mentor in his younger years. The tragic death of Louis Mountbatten at the hands of an IRA (Irish Republican Army) terrorist was a great shock to the entire royal family.
Judging by the speed with which the baby's names were announced, it is clear that the Queen liked them.
Hurry to the village!
The young couple clearly did not like the prospect of a two-week stay at Kensington Palace. Firstly, their main apartment 1A, where Princess Diana and her sons once lived, is not yet ready. In fact, this is a 4-story, 20-room wing of the palace with its own separate garden and entrance. While it is being renovated (scheduled for completion in early October), Will and Kate are given a small outbuilding with two cramped bedrooms. Until now, they had rarely used it, mainly during trips to London from the town of Engelsey in Wales, where William’s military base is located.
But staying here with a newborn, especially in the 30-degree heat that has settled in the south-east of England, and even without air conditioning, must be like torture.
Meanwhile, very nearby there is an absolutely heavenly place - the estate of Kate’s parents, spread over 7 hectares of a wonderful park, who are happy to welcome the young family and provide all possible assistance to the young mother in the first months of caring for the baby. Moreover, in complete isolation from the noisy rest of the world with its annoying television cameras and paparazzi.
There is no doubt that after suffering on the very first night, the couple decided not to tempt fate any longer and quickly run away with the baby to Bucklesbury.
How Prince George spent his birthdays
Happy Birthday, Prince George!
The little prince will celebrate his fifth birthday tomorrow and is sure to have a wonderful day.
But how exactly do the young royals spend their birthdays?
The royal family usually releases a new photo to mark the occasion, but like any other children, they are also treated to an exciting celebration away from the public eye.
Let's take a look back at how Prince George has celebrated his birthdays so far.
First birthday
Kate and Will hosted a "low-key" tea party to celebrate his birthday at Kensington Palace.
Guests began arriving at 15:00. Kate's parents Carol and Michael arrived first, then William and Kate's former principal secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, who is one of George's seven godparents, brought a brightly wrapped gift.
Also present were Kate's brother James and sister Pippa, William's cousin Zara Phillips and her husband Mike Tindall.
Great-Grandma The Queen was Guest of Honor, arriving an hour after the party started in a green Bentley. Prince Philip was unable to attend, but Kate and William took little George to Buckingham Palace in the morning so he could see his great-grandfather on his special day.

William and Kate issued a statement ahead of their son's birthday to thank everyone for their well wishes for George.
They said: “We would like to take this opportunity on George's first birthday to thank everyone for their warm and generous well wishes for George and our family.”
