As I said earlier, until about the 14th week I was constantly feeling very nauseous. I developed a dislike for pickles, radishes, and coffee. I haven't found any ways to reduce the feeling of nausea. Sometimes sucking candy helped. At week 14, vomiting in the morning and aversion to meat, fish, and eggs (including baking with eggs) increased. Kiwi helps a little. Around the 16th week, the vomiting went away, but the nausea remained. Added to this were dizziness and low blood pressure. From the 18th week I felt sick after eating, especially liquid food. From the middle of the 20th week I feel that I feel less sick without a system: I can feel sick before or after eating if I get nervous or walk uphill. I still have an aversion to the above products.

Almost every week my food preferences change a little. I mainly eat cereals, soups, vegetables, dried fruits, nuts, halva, a little chocolate, all kinds of cereals, cheeses, and drinking yoghurts.

It’s sad that I didn’t know that Prenatal should have been taken even before pregnancy. In the first trimester, my mother-in-law recommended it to me, but I was skeptical about it, because I firmly believed in doctors, they say, if they don’t prescribe it, then it’s not necessary. As it turns out, it’s just right! I started taking it in the second trimester. Also, after reading the forums and also in connection with the refusal of fish and meat, I added Omega 3 for pregnant women from Altman to the diet (it includes folic acid, so I no longer take it separately). After a blood test at week 16, it turned out that I had low iron, so I asked to be prescribed Ferifol, which is the most gentle in terms of iron side effects. One of these days I’ll get tested again to see how it worked.

Weight

I lost weight until about the 17th week. Only -6 kg from the beginning of pregnancy. To date (at the beginning of the 21st week) I have gained one and a half kilograms. Let's see how it goes.

Stomach

Increased sharply by the 19th week. It is small and matches the photographs on the Internet. But, on the one hand, it is impossible to hide it; on the other hand, in clothes it is not always clear that we are talking about the belly of a pregnant woman. So, for now, they won’t give up the place to me.

Sport

I went to a trial pregnancy gymnastics class at Studio C at 18 weeks. I felt very dizzy, so I had to put it off for another couple of weeks. I took an additional trial lesson in week 20 and then signed up. For now for 2 months. We'll see how it goes. In general, the impression of the classes is good.

Job.

Despite nausea, vomiting and other ailments, she practically did not miss work. The exception is vacation and a lingering cold that lasted almost a month. During this cold I had to take several sick days to recover. In general, I am glad that going to work is not particularly difficult, although the one-way journey takes almost an hour and a half: it takes 15 minutes to walk to the train station, 45-50 minutes by train and 20 minutes uphill from the train. I’m horrified to think what will happen if it becomes really difficult for me to get there.

Cloth

.

Of the things I bought for pregnancy, I use maternity jeans (mothercare - normal, still a little big), maternity tights (mothercare - I recommend thick ones and h&m - I don’t recommend thin ones), a maternity bra (mothercare - a good cotton one) and tights (h&m). I also bought a couple of T-shirts, a couple of sweaters, and another pair of jeans with a wide, tight elastic band (not very comfortable yet, apparently I have to wait until my stomach grows and thickens). Besides this, I mostly wear dresses that hang a little on me due to the weight I’ve lost. Until recently, I also wore regular tights and low jeans. Now my belly is too big.

Preparing for childbirth

It’s quite sluggish for now, but very soon we are going to start dismantling the mezzanines, closets, some refurbishment of the apartment, as well as compiling lists of necessary purchases and exploring all kinds of stores with goods for babies.
