The commander of the Black Sea Fleet, Vice Admiral Igor Osipov, congratulated the veteran of the Great Patriotic War, Rear Admiral Konstantin Bezpalchev, on the upcoming Victory Day in the courtyard of his house.
The solemn event was held as part of the “Good Morning Veteran” campaign, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Under the leadership of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet, a mini-parade was held in the courtyard of the front-line soldier’s house with the participation of a company of the Guard of Honor and a military orchestra; artists of the Black Sea Fleet Song and Dance Ensemble performed a small concert for Konstantin Bezpalchev, at which they performed front-line songs from the Great Patriotic War.
Konstantin Bezpalchev was born on March 23, 1925 in Sevastopol. In the Navy since 1942. As a cadet at the naval school in 1943, he took part in hostilities, undergoing internship on the cruiser "Red Caucasus". He served on the destroyers "Ognevoy", "Bodriy" and "Ozornoy". As the best specialist in the fleet in an artillery combat unit, he was assigned to the most modern cruiser at that time, Admiral Nakhimov. He was awarded many orders and medals.

After the end of the Great Patriotic War, he served in the Armed Forces for forty years in various command and staff positions. After leaving the reserve for 25 years, he was a member and chairman of the Council of Veterans of the 4th Guards Tank Kantemirovsky Corps.
