history of the holiday
Patricia Baze Haroski from Chicago is considered to be the founder of the professional holiday of all bosses. It was she who first voiced the idea of honoring bosses in 1958. At that time, Patricia worked as a secretary in her father's company. That same year, she recorded a celebration at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Patricia chose her father's birthday as the date. Four years later, Otto Kerner, the governor of Illinois, liked her idea. Thanks to him, in 1962, Boss Day received official international status.

Story
The woman on whose initiative this holiday was organized, Patricia Baze Haroski lived in Chicago. The request to celebrate the holiday of bosses or chefs became known in 1958. In the same year, a woman officially patented Chef's Day at the United States Chamber of Commerce. Patricia announced the date of birth of her father as the day of celebration of Chiefs' Day. The first leader whom Patricia congratulated on his professional holiday was her father and also her boss. Then the woman conducted documentary business in the company of her parent. The holiday began to gain popularity among Americans. A few years later, the head of the state of Illinois, Otto Kerner, initiated the design of Chef's Day at the international level. Already in 1962, this holiday was celebrated in European countries and was officially considered international. The powers of the former CIS also accepted the idea of celebrating the Leader's Day with a bang, but currently in the Russian Federation the holiday is going through a period of adaptation.

Traditions
The holiday is especially popular in private companies. The unusual holiday is celebrated with joy by groups consisting mainly of young people. Company employees congratulate their boss, as well as heads of departments, present them with souvenirs and pleasant trinkets as gifts, and mugs for a soulful and relaxing tea party during the lunch break.
Some teams celebrate this day at corporate parties:
- come up with professional quests and competitions for their managers;
- perform good parodies and draw caricatures of subordinates and superiors;
- they present the boss with comic or real certificates;
- They give flowers and express respect for the work of the leader.
Toasts and congratulations are addressed to the boss. The managers, in turn, exchange congratulatory messages with the bosses of their partner companies.
"Lucky" and dating
The head of the detachment prepares the personal files of those convicted for promotion. This, for example, could be an additional long visit, which prisoners look forward to and consider it special luck. “Convicts have the right to have three-day visits. During this period, the prisoner and his relative are placed in a separate room for three days. In the colony, such convicts are called lucky. Under strict conditions of serving a sentence, such meetings occur once a year, under general conditions - three times, under light conditions - four meetings. As an incentive, the administration may allow an additional visit,” Khuzagaripov lists. “I make schedules for who will be able to see their relatives and when.”
A convicted person can apply for parole after serving 2/3 of his sentence. The issue of parole is considered by the court at the place where the sentence is served. In many ways, the final decision depends precisely on the characteristics of the convicted person by the head of the detachment.
Prisoner Askhad Khayranasov will be released in 10 months. He has been in prison for seven years now. “A random fight, a random crime,” he says sheepishly about the reason for his stay here. “But every crime must be punished.”

When free, Askhad Khayranasov was a mechanical technician, and behind barbed wire he discovered a new talent: he became a master of wood carving. Now he dreams that when he is free he will start manufacturing high-quality furniture and, perhaps, open his own business.
How to choose a gift for your boss.
The main point in choosing a gift is its value for the person to whom it will be given. It is for this reason that for any holiday, people carefully select gifts, because if you choose the right gift, you can leave positive emotions for the person who receives it. Memories of a gift should evoke only positive emotions. Choosing a surprise for the Boss will always be very difficult, because the present must show not only respect and love for the boss, but also indicate that subordinates treat their leader well, and his attitude towards them is priceless.
