Sergei Zhukov: “My fourth child is a work of art!”
On September 30, 2014, the famous musician Sergei Zhukov and his wife, ex-soloist of the Slivki group Regina Burd, became parents for the third time. The couple already has a 6-year-old daughter, Nika, and a 4-year-old son, Angel. At the same time, 38-year-old Zhukov has another daughter, 13-year-old Alexandra, from his first marriage with Elena Dobyndo.
“Psychologically, it is difficult to realize that you have become a dad for the fourth time: you feel a huge responsibility. But I am immensely happy! I had another son, which means that I now have two sons and two daughters. By the way, I was surprised to learn that I now have the right to a bunch of benefits: a lower car tax, free travel on public transport and even additional acres of land,” Sergei Zhukov told Woman.ru, laughing.
Sergei admitted that during childbirth he did not leave his wife’s side, and spent a total of 12 hours in the maternity hospital. The boy, weighing 3800 grams and 53 centimeters tall, was born completely healthy.
“It was a difficult day: I was present at the birth, cut the umbilical cord, was the first to take my son in my arms - everything as it should be. The baby doesn’t look like anyone else yet, he’s a completely new work of art. You know, he looks at the world so consciously and with interest. One already gets the impression that he is the wisest man. And, of course, I am incredibly grateful to Regina for such a feat as the birth of her third child,” the singer admitted to Woman.ru.
But not only Sergei Zhukov was looking forward to this happy moment. At home, 6-year-old Nika and 4-year-old Angel were worried about their mother and brother.
“It was difficult to hide Regina’s big belly from the children, so the son and daughter knew everything and were really looking forward to the birth of their younger brother. Especially Nika, who, due to her age, treats everything more responsibly. Angel, in turn, realizes that he has become an older brother, and now he will have to be less capricious and be an example to the little one. Throughout the pregnancy, the guys talked to the belly and sang songs to it. And now the children are in full swing preparing for the arrival of Regina and the baby and have already painted special pictures for them,” Sergei Zhukov frankly told Woman.ru.
When asked whether Sergei plans to improve his own record and become the father of a fifth child, he replies: “First you need to get those four that already exist on their feet.” However, then the singer thinks a little: “Although, who knows... Maybe in 10 years?”

It was scary! It's scary to start something you've never done before. And, in general, it was scary to start. For eight years, all my thoughts and time were focused only on children. Their interests, their joys and experiences. Cartoons, educational toys, letters, numbers and night feedings? It seems that for some time I forgot that there is life outside of maternity leave. And suddenly this very life grabbed me with a massive hand and threw me into business. And here!? There are accomplishments, joy, tears, and disappointments. I was not ready for something, to hide it. But these unforeseen circumstances strengthened us... How much our another child learned at the age of 3 - the “Love and Sweets” confectionery. And how much more is to come! Even I don’t know this;)) 4 years... Is that a lot or a little? Or, as always, everything is relative?)

I remember Soviet Christmas trees from childhood. As a rule, they were employed at the place of work of their parents. My dad just worked at the Cheryomushkinsky plant. And my most touching memories are from there. A huge hall, a Christmas tree to the ceiling, creaky parquet, also a herringbone ;)) The first thing that caught your eye were the toys. Balls, cones, icicles, trains. I even remember Doctor Aibolit with blue eyes, on a clothespin;) Multi-colored garlands, then they didn’t know how to shine in every way, like modern Ali Express? It was a completely different holiday. Without today's abundance, without a variety of costumes. Who do we usually dress up as? Girls with Snowflakes, boys with Bunnies. Some people were luckier and became the proud owner of a Teddy Bear or Little Red Riding Hood costume, like me, for example. Remember your suit? Surprisingly, no matter what this time is, it’s nice to return to it with your thoughts. Especially on New Year's Eve..)

Last December, Sergei Zhukov told fans unexpected news. Leader of the group “Hands up!” Together with his wife Regina Burd, he opened a home-based confectionery bakery that bakes cupcakes. The Zhukov family business instantly attracted the attention of both fans of Sergei’s work, as well as ordinary people and those with a sweet tooth. In a matter of months, the singer and his wife completely set up a joint business and did everything possible to make their confectionery become popular. It’s interesting that Regina is mostly involved in this business. The musician’s wife began to study all the necessary literature, attend courses and trainings, and also control the entire process of creating small sweet masterpieces. As it turned out, Sergei Zhukov himself did not expect from his beloved that she could be so passionate about something other than raising children. The couple admit that this became a real test for them - to see and accept each other from an unexpected side.
“I’ll admit this to you: I’m now in a new period of falling in love with my wife,” Sergei Zhukov said in an interview with Telenedelya. “I’ve never seen her so active.” In the very first month of work, Regina immediately encountered all the nasty things that can come out when you run your own business. At first she was a little confused and called me every second: “Can you imagine, they didn’t bring the flour!”, “Seryozha, something broke in their workshop!” and so on in the same spirit. I tell her: “Yes! Stop! Regina, why do you need to know whether they brought flour or not?” And she: “I have to know everything, as they say, down to the last screw!” And how bread is baked, and how the accounting system works!” She covered herself with books, textbooks, went to some business trainings, accounting courses, trying to figure everything out as quickly as possible. I wonder: “Why do you need so much knowledge? All calculations should be given to you by specially trained people!” No, he says, I have to figure everything out myself so that everything works perfectly. I never thought that such qualities would be revealed in Regina. But on the other hand, I'm scared. Because my homely and flexible wife is becoming tougher.”
Regina Burd herself admits that she did not expect such aspirations and such abilities in business. Despite this, the artist’s wife does not intend to forget that, first of all, she is a wife and mother. “Seryozha is used to me following him. Behind his broad back. And I don’t want to change anything in the current pattern of our relationship, I want to continue to remain a wife: soft, weak. But in business I want to decide everything myself. And it is impossible to do this while remaining flexible and gentle. It is very difficult for Seryozha to accept the new Regina. Yes, and sometimes I surprise myself. But, apparently, our family needs to go through such a test and reach a new level of relations.”
It is noteworthy that the couple’s little son Miron, who will soon turn seven months old, is growing up calm and docile, and therefore young parents raising an older son and daughter are able to calmly do business. In addition, the Zhukovs are already thinking about the next addition to the family. “We have not yet begun to closely discuss this issue - we are both too tired, but we have thoughts of giving birth to another girl,” said Sergei. “We come to buy clothes for Myron – and the eye willy-nilly clings to the tiny dresses. “Oh,” says Regina, “look how beautiful they are!” I sternly said to her: “Okay, citizen, calm down! Let’s get through, don’t delay!” — and I barely take my eyes off some pink onesies. How many beautiful names do we have in stock? For a very long time we did not know who would be born, a boy or a girl, and therefore, in addition to Miron, we had thoughts about Bozhena. Or Yaroslava is also an option. We just need another little girl! In about five years. Regina is a young mother, we will have enough time. And then complete harmony will come.”

The eldest daughter of Sergei Zhukov is already quite grown up and lives with her mother Elena Dobyndo in the USA. The girl is very artistic, already plays in the theater, and is actively involved in dancing, music and vocals.
Sasha maintains a warm relationship with her father. She spends all her holidays in Russia with Sergei and his new family. Sergei loves to brag about Sashenka’s successes and often talks in interviews about what roles his daughter has already played and what she is preparing for.
Sergei Zhukov's second daughter Nika (full name Veronica) was named by her parents in honor of the goddess. The girl is in no way inferior in the number of talents to her older sister Alexandra - she is very charismatic, endowed with a subtle sense of humor, draws, dances, and does rhythmic gymnastics with professional trainers.
There is a beautiful story connected with the birth of his son Sergei Angel. The couple was vacationing in Israel, and while visiting the temple, the priest gave them a bowl of oil with a request to give it to the angel. Arriving home, the couple learned that they were having a child. The boy studies foreign languages in depth, takes up swimming and singing, and dreams of becoming as popular as his star dad.
Miron, the youngest son of Sergei Zhukov, has not yet decided what he wants to become. But the teachers of the kindergarten he attends note that the boy loves to take part in theatrical performances, sings beautifully and dances well.
Personal life of Sergei Zhukov
There were two official marriages in the life of Sergei Zhukov. The first wife of the singer, founder of the “Hands Up” group, was Elena Dobyndo, the daughter of an influential businessman at that time (1993), general director of AvtoVAZ and IzhAvto, Mikhail Dobyndo. The girl's father was against their relationship and wedding, the young people were forced to sign secretly.
The marriage broke up after 5 years. At that time, the couple’s daughter Alexandra was already growing up. The girl remained to live with her mother, but the relationship with her father did not stop. Elena and Sergei broke up without scandal or mutual reproaches, and the divorce did not in any way affect their daughter together.
The second wife of Sergei Zhukov was the former soloist of the musical group “VIA Slivki” Regina Bud (stage name Michelle). In this marriage, Sergei had three more children - daughter Nika (2008) and son Angel (2010), and in 2014 - son Miron.
With Regina, Sergei is happy to this day. She became not only his wife, but also a friend and business assistant. The family has an unusual tradition - the couple and their children come every year to the Thai island of Samuli, where in the year of their marriage the couple planted a tree of love.
