It started unnoticed: while accompanying Serov on tour, Lena first took on all the cooking responsibilities, then replaced the costume designer, and then began to resolve administrative issues. We lived together and worked together too. He didn’t think about marriage, and even less so did she. In those years, fans lay in wait for Alexander Serov everywhere: at the service entrance to concert halls, on the staircase of his own house. Elena’s appearance in the singer’s life initially caused aggression (once a raw egg even flew into her back and spread all over her fur coat), but over time the girls realized that she was here for a long time - and they came to terms with it.
In 1993, they became parents for the first time. The singer was 39 years old, and he was sincerely happy about Lena’s pregnancy - he really wanted a boy, but he also accepted the birth of a girl with enthusiasm. The daughter was named Michelle - in honor of Serov’s favorite actress Michelle Pfeiffer. But all the care for the baby fell entirely on the shoulders of 23-year-old Lena. “The girl was restless and often screamed at night. Michelle and I slept in one room and he slept in another.
