Foreigners were frightened by the appearance of the Ukrainian model. For them she is terribly beautiful, and this is not an exaggeration

Top 10 most famous Ukrainian top models in the world

The modeling business is not easy and quite cruel: only the most purposeful, charismatic and somewhat lucky people get into it. Few are lucky, but among the world's famous models there are Ukrainians who are admired literally by the entire planet.

So which Ukrainian top models are the most famous in the world? Consider the rating of 10 popular “sharks” of the modeling business:

  1. Juju Ivanyuk. This girl's real name is Julia, and even now, after 13 years of a successful career in the modeling business, she denies her popularity and remains shy and modest. 27-year-old Juju has extensive overseas experience of collaborating with famous world brands such as Elie Saab, Chloé, Lanvin, David Koma, MaxMara, Chanel, John Galliano, Céline ", "Chloé", "Valentino" and others. Ivanyuk’s appearance is very unconventional, but incredibly attractive, and even the picky John Galliano himself could appreciate it. And recently, Zhuzhu “lit up” in her homeland: she was chosen as the face of the large Ukrainian brand “Vovk”, and in this fragile, sophisticated beauty, few recognized the experienced model Ivanyuk.
  2. Alla Kostromicheva . This Ukrainian beauty is known to many as a TV presenter, without whom it is impossible to imagine the famous reality show about aspiring models. And Alla can safely be called a real record holder in the modeling business, because in her first season alone she took part in fifty-five shows, opening Alexander McQueen and YSL, as well as starting a fruitful collaboration with the cult brands MaxMara and Givenchy. , “Hermes”, “Christian Dior”, “Lanvin”, “Calvin Klein”, “Balenciaga”, “Valentino”, “Nina Ritchie”, “Roberto Cavalli” and others. But in addition to her own dizzying career, Kostromicheva is engaged in useful activities and provides opportunities for other aspiring talented models. In 2013, she organized her own agency, calling it “K Models”: its graduates achieve success and shine on the catwalks of their native Ukraine, America and Europe.
  3. Tatiana Bogdan . This charismatic girl has a face of incredible texture, which is especially attractive with square, clearly defined cheekbones, an interesting eye shape, a “prickly” look and sensual natural lips. In her homeland, she is no longer known as a top model, but as an advanced fashion trendsetter. Tatiana built her career abroad, and she managed to establish cooperation with Tara Jarmon, Lanvin, Vanessa Bruno, Sonia Rykie, as well as with the world-famous photographer Ellen von Unwerth. But today Bogdan is a caring mother and partner of Elena Burba, heading the designer’s company as director. Modeling has faded into the background for now, but Tatyana still remains recognizable in many countries and is very much in demand.
  4. Nati Chabanenko . This Ukrainian woman from the Dnepropetrovsk region is distinguished by an incredible, like an alien futuristic appearance, which made the girl famous and stands out from many other fashion models. Chabanenko’s calling cards include high, aristocratic cheekbones and a very expressive and attractive look. There is a certain magic in this that imprints the girl’s facial features in the memory: once you see this extraterrestrial beauty, it is no longer possible to forget it. Although initially Nati was supposed to build a career as a doctor, she chose modeling over her and was right: Chabanenko managed to establish fruitful cooperation with many well-known brands, including Le Silla, Banana Republic, CK Jeans, Sephora and others . In 2016, the girl decided to start a family: she got married and a year later became the mother of a son.
  5. Alina Baykova . This purposeful girl began her journey as a waitress in the small provincial Krapivnitsky, but was able to reach the unspoken title of a real Dior muse. Alina also has other significant titles: former girlfriend of Leonardo DiCaprio himself, volunteer in Africa, fighter for the rights of the people and, of course, the most popular model. Baykova is in demand not only in her beloved homeland, but also in Europe: in Milan she represented the Armani and Calvin Klein brands at shows, and in Paris she successfully collaborated with Zuhair Murad and Hermès. But Alina’s rapid career rise started at the Next agency. At the moment, the girl can increasingly be seen not on the catwalks, but on the red carpet.
  6. Irina Kravchenko . The appearance of this red-haired Ukrainian girl actually does not fit into any beauty standards, but it was she who opened the doors to the big modeling business for Irina, allowing her to begin a successful path at the opening of the American Alexander Wang show. Since 2013, Kravchenko’s photographs began to increasingly decorate the pages of the world-famous Vogue magazine, published in many countries. But the most important shoot for Ira took place in her homeland: in the same 2013, the fashion model graced the cover of one of the autumn issues, and she became the only Ukrainian who earned a place on the main page of the magazine. Three years later in 2016, Irina managed to win the title of face of fashion week in Ukraine.
  7. Snezhana Onopko. This fragile beauty, with a standard model height of 175 cm, weighs only forty-five kilograms. The girl’s gaze is distant and somewhat wandering, and no other fashion model has yet been able to demonstrate her signature unusual gait. Snezhana became one of the very first Ukrainians to successfully conquer world catwalks. And Onopko’s incredible depth of big blue eyes, fragility of figure and absolute belief in her own irresistibility allowed her to become famous. But Snezhana’s guide to world fashion was the eminent photographer Steven Meisel, who literally turned the aspiring and unknown Ukrainian beauty into his muse. Today Snezhana is the face of the most popular brands and an award-winning podium top model.
  8. Ella Kandyba. This blue-eyed beauty with an expressive appearance began her free swimming in the ocean of modeling quite early - at the age of fifteen. She came to Paris and was honored to participate in the Chanel show as one of five new invited models. Then, by the will of fate, Kandyba moved to fashionable Milan, where she was able to truly make herself known to the whole world: here she actively and successfully took part in shows, filming for famous magazines, and advertising campaigns. Then Ella came to London and Paris to promote several popular brands.
  9. Natalya Gotsiy . The fame of this girl is very contradictory, because not only success in modeling is associated with her, but also a history of struggle with a difficult disease - anorexia, which she dealt with for many years. Gotsiy appeared on the pages of Elle and participated in shows of famous brands. In many interviews, she told reporters about how her appearance on the catwalk with the Guy Laroche bow literally caused a real resonance. The girl showed off not only pronounced collarbones, but also protruding ribs, which brought down a barrage of criticism. It was from that time that a minimum weight control was introduced for models, which should not be below 47 kilograms with a height of 180 centimeters. But at the moment, Gotsiy has overcome the illness, is in excellent health, hosts a talk show about models in her homeland and is raising a child.
  10. Evelina Mambetova. The appearance of this Ukrainian model incredibly combines a modern outlook on life, Ukrainian features, feminine wisdom, ethnic zest and feminine beauty. Evelina’s career started quite early, when the girl was only 14 years old: then she began her journey as a fashion model in Paris, and three years later, at the age of seventeen, she signed a contract with the world agency “Supreme Management”. Evelina also graced the covers of famous magazines, became the face of a collection of bags from Mulberry (one of the lines was named after Mambetova), and in 2018 she released her own clothing line, calling it “M20”.

These were the most famous top models who achieved global success, who were natives of Ukraine and real beauties.

Why are Ukrainian models valued in the West?

We asked this question to Olga Yanul, fashion editor of Vogue Ukraine magazine.

In addition to excellent external data, Ukrainian models are usually sociable, open and flexible,” explains the expert. “And the ability to find a common language with the team and understand how to correctly complete the task are the most important qualities for a model to work.”

— What other qualities should Ukrainian girls have in order to make a truly cool career in the fashion world?

— It is important to know English well and how your own body “works” in front of the camera. Of course, no one canceled good manners, good manners and artistry.

— Which people are valued in the fashion world today?

— A fashionable face with charisma and character. Usually these are the girls who stay in the fashion world for a long time. They can easily change and literally “display” the spirit of the times.
