Elena Proklova's ex-husband is building a new house for her in Sochi

Biography

She was born on September 2, 1953 in Moscow in the family of Igor Viktorovich Proklov (born August 13, 1929), a teacher at the VPA named after V.I. Lenin, and teacher Inessa Aleksandrovna Proklova.

She grew up in a favorable environment: her parents’ friends were many cultural figures and actors, her great-grandmother and grandfather were actors.

The dacha where they lived was located in a dacha village of scientists, artists and performers. True, Elena’s relatives did not think about a career as an actress, because from the age of four she was engaged in artistic gymnastics and already at the age of eleven she became a master of sports.

Her grandfather Viktor (Vitya) Proklov was the second director of the film “They’re Ringing, Open the Door” (1965, directed by A. N. Mitta), and his duties included selecting actors.

A young actress was needed for the main role. A family friend, also a filmmaker, invited the grandfather to show his granddaughter, but the grandfather categorically refused. Then the friend himself brought the girl to the director.

The film became Elena's film debut. This was followed by leading roles in the famous Soviet films “The Snow Queen” (1966), “Adolescent Age” (1968), “Shine, Shine, My Star” (1969).

In 1973 she graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School (course of V.P. Markov) and became an actress at the Moscow Art Theater (until 1991).

In 1976 she became a laureate of the All-Union Film Festival in the category “Prizes for Acting Work”.

The actress gained all-Union fame by starring in the 1977 film “Mimino.”

Member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. Member of the United Russia party.

Lena met her first husband Vitaly Melik-Karamov when she was fifteen years old. He is five years older than Proklova; at the time they met, he was studying at the Moscow Architectural Institute.

A year later, the young actress was invited to star in the film “Shine, Shine, My Star.” During filming, sympathy arose between Elena and actor Oleg Tabakov.

Later, Proklova will tell in an interview that she did not want a relationship with a married man, and this was one of the reasons why she decided to marry Melik-Karamov.

In 1971, they registered a relationship. Vitaly really wanted a child, and in August 1972 the couple had a daughter, Arina. During this period, Proklova’s career was rapidly going uphill.

Her husband did not like her constant filming and theater tours; he was a supporter of the classic patriarchal family, in which a woman should take care of the house and child. Soon the question became clear: family or work.

Elena chose a profession, and in 1975 her first marriage broke up.

The ex-husband of Elena Proklova became a famous writer and journalist. He is the author and director of television programs and documentaries.

After the divorce, there were no new serious relationships in Elena Proklova’s life; she devoted herself entirely to work, and her mother was involved in raising her daughter. Elena had to find out her second husband due to her daughter’s illness. Friends advised her to contact Dr. Alexander Deryabin.

At the time of their meeting, Proklova recognized him as an annoying admirer who had admired the actress for several years, met her after performances and gave her flowers. Alexander helped his daughter Proklova, and soon real passion flared up between them.

In 1977, the lovers got married, but this marriage did not last long and ended in tragedy for the actress.

The couple dreamed of a child, but the twin boys that were born were so weak that they died in the first minutes after birth.

The actress began to experience deep depression, she lost the meaning of life, considering the death of her children as a punishment for fame, success and her past novels. Deryabin also closed in on himself. This event led to the couple's divorce in 1981.

Personal life of Proklova and Andrei Trishin

Wedding of Elena Proklova and Andrei Trishin
Proklova was introduced to her third husband, businessman Andrei Trishin, by her brother. They immediately liked each other, despite the fact that Andrei is eight years younger than Elena. In 1984, the couple officially registered their marriage.

A year later, the couple had a son. Elena cried with happiness, but on the eighth day the boy suddenly died. Andrei did not leave his wife’s side and helped her survive the loss of her child.

In 1994, when Elena Igorevna was already over forty, she gave birth to the long-awaited girl Polina, spending almost the entire nine months of her pregnancy in the hospital.

For six years, Proklova devoted herself entirely to her family, leaving the acting environment. And only in the early 2000s she returned to cinema and television.

The marriage with Trishin lasted thirty years.

In 2020, information appeared that the couple had divorced. Elena admitted in an interview that she and Andrei had lost interest in each other.

However, the divorce seemed to revive their relationship, and now Proklova again lives with Trishin as one family in her country house.

The search for the main character took a very long time; the director's assistants were already desperate to find a suitable type among the hundreds of applicants who came to audition from all over Moscow. And then one day the director saw Lena, who came to visit her grandfather at the studio. He decided to try her, and the girl was immediately approved for the role.

The film was released in 1965 and was highly praised by critics and the audience jury. At the Venice International Film Festival she was awarded the main prize in the category of children's films.

A year later, Lena was given the role of Gerda in the fairy tale “The Snow Queen”. The girl coped with the job, her heroine turned out to be tender and touching. The film again received excellent ratings from film critics and was awarded prestigious awards at the Bogota Film Festival.

Before entering the theater, Proklova starred in two more films - “Adolescent Age” and “Shine, Shine, My Star.” During her student years, she did not act at all, devoting all her time to the learning process.

After receiving her diploma, Elena was invited to shoot the film “The Only One...”, in which she became Tanya Fesheva. She was lucky enough to stand on the set with famous actors Valery Zolotukhin and Vladimir Vysotsky.

Cinema

The melodrama “They’re calling, open the door” was Elena Proklova’s film debut. For the role of Tanya Nechaeva, she was named the best actress of 1965, and the film became a laureate of the Venice Film Festival. Later, director Gennady Kazansky offered her the role of Gerda in the film adaptation of Evgeniy Schwartz’s play “The Snow Queen.” The fairy tale was released on big screens in 1967 and was warmly received by young viewers. At the Scarlet Carnation festival and in Bogota (Colombia), the children's film was awarded the main prizes. In the next two years, Lena starred with Richard Viktorov in “The Age of Transition” and with Alexander Mitta in “Shine, Shine, My Star,” where her partners on the set were Oleg Tabakov, Oleg Efremov, Evgeny Leonov, Leonid Kuravlev. The actress made her next notable roles in such films as “The One” - Tanyusha Fesheva, “Own Opinion” - Tatyana Elkina. But the greatest fame was brought to her by her work in the films “Dog in the Manger” - Marcela, “Mimino” - stewardess Larisa Ivanovna Komarova and “Be My Husband” - Natasha Kostikova.

Invitations to various projects followed one after another. The actress starred in many successful films until 1989, when the country was gripped by an economic crisis. Her prominent roles were: Sheila in the detective story “Inspector Gull”, Claudia in the film “Faith and Truth”, Audrey Lamont in the science fiction film “The Perfect Crime”, Natasha in the military drama “Look for the Wind”, Julia in the film “Be Happy Julia” , Natalya Petrovna Slepneva “From the life of the head of the criminal investigation department.”

In the late 90s, Elena Proklova returned to cinema. She played Natalya Mikhailovna in the mini-series based on the short stories by A.P. Chekhov “Chekhov and Co.” and Nadezhda in the popular detective story “D.D.D.” Detective Dubrovsky's file."

Since 2000, the actress appears on screen only occasionally. Her “track record” was replenished with only three new projects. This is the comedy melodrama by Dmitry Astrakhan “Yellow Dwarf”, in which Proklova, along with Alexander Abdulov and Anna Legchilova, played the main characters, the drama by Dmitry Brusnikin “Happiness by Prescription” and the film “And Mom is Better!”, released in 2010.

Data

Elena became interested in landscape design and received a second higher education in this specialty. She designed her garden herself and helps her friends in this matter.

In 1999, the artist released the book “As Myself.” As Proklova herself says: “For me, the book turned out to be much more interesting than I expected. This is not so much a creative biography and accompanying information as a reflection on life.”
