1.Depending on the region and weather conditions, linden blooms from May to July. You need to collect flowers during the most active flowering period. You can determine when the time for harvesting has come by the appearance of the tree. If half of the flowers have already bloomed, and the rest are still in buds, then it’s time to start collecting.

The container is closed for 15-20 minutes, after which the drink is ready for consumption. It is recommended to flavor it with natural honey, lemon, jam or sugar.

The decoction requires a similar set of basic ingredients. The linden blossom is poured with water, after boiling, simmered over low heat for about 5 minutes, and then infused under a closed lid for another 15 minutes. After straining, the infusion can be drunk, flavored with the products recommended above.

The most primitive version of how you can brew linden for a cold is as follows:

  • An arbitrary amount of dried flowers is poured into an ordinary ceramic teapot, along with dry rose hips, mint leaves and other medicinal herbs.
  • Then everything is poured with boiling water and left for 15 minutes.

This is the very first, harmless and natural medicine for colds, available to each of us.

2. It is important to wait for warm days, preferably after rain or in the morning when the foliage and flowers are slightly damp. It is convenient to cut the inflorescences with scissors, since they are quite tightly connected to the foliage. It is best to find trees away from roads and industrial enterprises.

3.After harvesting, it is important to properly dry the “harvest”. Flowers are laid out in a thin layer on paper or a tray, and be sure to cover them from insects with gauze or a thin rag.

4. The drying place must be protected from sunlight and at the same time well ventilated. A balcony or terrace is suitable. As a rule, 5-7 days are enough for the flowers to be completely dried.

5.Can be stored in paper bags, canvas bags, ceramic containers or dark glass jars, tightly closed.

In order for the drink to really bring the expected benefits for colds, be sure to consume it in a warm state. This is the only way it will work as an antipyretic and diaphoretic. If you have a high temperature, after drinking a drink, it is advisable to lie under a blanket and sweat well.

In the case of pregnant women, the daily dose of linden drink should not exceed 4 glasses.

Children can be given a similar drink almost from the age of one month, little by little, literally a teaspoon at a time, monitoring allergies and other negative reactions of the body.

If there are none, then it would be very correct to treat the child in the future exclusively with folk remedies, or at least with a minimum amount of industrial medicines.

  • rose hips (about 20 berries);
  • 2-3 whole dried small linden branches;
  • chopped dried fruits (preferably peach, apricot) – 2 – 3 tbsp. l.;
  • 1 liter of water;
  • sugar or honey (if desired).
  1. Place the dried and crushed rosehip in a glass container and pour boiling water over it.
  2. Add linden branches and dried fruits there.
  3. Close the vessel with a lid and leave for half an hour.
  4. Strain before use.

Tonic tea

  • 3 tsp. yellow tea;
  • 2 tsp. dried linden blossom;
  • 1 tsp. honey

Mix the ingredients and pour 0.5 liters of boiling water. Leave for 4-5 minutes. Strain, add honey, stir.

Drink 2 times a day, 1 cup after meals. The infusion can also be used for colds.

For two cups of tea you need 2 tablespoons of dried flowers. The kettle must be preheated by pouring boiling water, rinsing and pouring out. Only after this, fill in the flowers and pour in 0.5 liters of boiling water again. Leave for 15 minutes.

Tea can be served sweetened with honey and lemon juice. This will not spoil its quality and properties. The drink should always be drunk freshly prepared and stored for no more than a day.

  • teapot;
  • linden blossom - ¼ cup;
  • boiling water – 1 l.

Linden tea should be drunk in its pure form. It can be brewed with black tea and slowly sipped with a slice of lemon or a spoonful of honey.

Pour the remaining liquid after drinking tea into ice molds and place in the freezer for a while. Wipe your face with the resulting ice cubes every day - the skin will become incredibly silky and soft, and various irritations and inflammations will disappear.

In general, linden flower tea acts as a diaphoretic and warming agent. It is especially recommended for colds. You should drink it before going to bed, and then lie down under a warm blanket to sweat. The next morning the patient will feel much lighter.

Take warm, 1 glass 2-3 times a day after meals.

The decoction also helps relieve stress and calm you down.
