Born on May 5, 1966 in the city of Donskoy, Tula Region, the family lived at that time in Severo-Zadonsk on Shkolnaya Street. Father, Ivan Alekseevich Sapronov, was a railway driver, his father was paralyzed and became a group 2 disabled[6], and his mother, Valentina Dmitrievna, worked in trade[7] and as a teacher in a kindergarten[4][6]. The elder brother is Vladislav, born in 1959 in his mother’s first marriage.
For five years, until the age of twelve, Irina was engaged in rhythmic gymnastics, received prizes in competitions, fulfilled the standards of a candidate for master of sports[8], after moving to Novomoskovsk she practiced volleyball, but very much regretted that she gave up gymnastics.[7] After Irina graduated from the fifth grade of the North-Zadonsk secondary school, her family moved to the city of Novomoskovsk in the Tula region[4], where her father had career prospects. In Novomoskovsk they lived in the depot area on Mira Street[4].
In 1981, after graduating from eight classes of Novomoskovsk secondary school No. 20, she entered the faculty of industrial and civil engineering (IGC) of the Novomoskovsk Construction College. After graduating from college in 1985, she was assigned to work in Tula, but instead went to Moscow, where she entered the correspondence department of the Moscow State University of Economics, Statistics and Informatics (formerly MESI), which she graduated in 1990. During training, she worked as a base manager, then for quite a long time as a secretary for the head of the construction department, until she got a room in Moscow[4].
Carier start
In 1986, Irina met her future husband Viktor Saltykov in Sochi, who at that time was the lead singer of the Forum group.
At the end of 1988, with her husband Viktor Saltykov, at a disco in the club, she met the head of the Mirage group; after Natalya Vetlitskaya left, he was looking for a soloist and invited her to try, since she was pretty, thin and impressive. We held a rehearsal and realized that Irina could perform, so we went on tour to Syzran, where we performed at a cultural center. But at this time, daughter Alice fell ill, and Irina went to Moscow. In order not to disrupt the tour, they persuaded Tatyana Ovsienko to go on stage. In total, Irina worked in the team for 6 months.[9]
Upon returning to the capital, a serious conversation took place, during which Ira expressed her position: “Guys, do what you want, but I need to raise my daughter. I will perform as much as possible." Sometimes both singers went on tour, but Saltykova could not do it more often. People asked: “Where is Ira? Something happened?" We were tired of unnecessary questions and decided to part with Ira. And, as life has shown, everything that is done is for the better. After leaving Mirage, Saltykova’s solo career took off.”

She worked briefly in the variety show of the Delhi restaurant. After further failures at work and difficulties in her personal life, she decided to become a singer.
In 1994, the singer made her solo debut on the concert stage in Moscow at the Warsaw cinema, where she performed the song “Let Me Go” to the music and lyrics of S. Mudrov, which was later included in her debut album[10].
"Grey eyes"
On February 1, 1995, Irina Saltykova recorded her first song “Gray Eyes”[4] to the music of Oleg Molchanov, who previously worked with Natalya Vetlitskaya and wrote her hit “Playboy”, and lyrics by Arkady Slavorosov.[11]
To record the first album “Gray Eyes” and the video clip for the song of the same name, the singer had to pawn jewelry and her own apartment in Moscow[4]. Saltykova relies on sexuality and therefore the video turns out to be quite provocative for that time. Irina herself says: “Gray eyes are my calling card.” Two weeks after the video goes on television, Irina begins to receive offers from record companies to buy the album. The singer gave preference to the Soyuz studio and in mid-1995 her first album was released, which became a bestseller, becoming the second best-selling album of 1995, second only to Alla Pugacheva’s album. The attitude of critics and the public towards the new singer was ambiguous. Many people compared her to Pamela Anderson, calling her music shallow. The singer herself says this about her debut:
“Since childhood, I have been very independent, although my parents considered me a frivolous person. One day I wanted to prove that I was much more than just a housewife. I realized that I needed to go to Moscow and make my own way in life. Fame, of course, did not come immediately. I had to work for some time as the head of some base, then as a secretary for some big boss. In addition, I was engaged in business: I sold clothes and cosmetics, which a friend from England brought me from time to time. It was difficult, but despite everything, I dressed well and looked the part. My ex-husband Victor even thought that I was a general’s daughter... But I always loved singing, I always dreamed of singing on the big stage. And for the sake of this dream of mine... I sold all my jewelry. Including a ring with 27 diamonds that my husband gave me. I pawned all the jewelry in a pawnshop, and then it turned out that I couldn’t buy it back. For my first video “Gray Eyes” (for the song by Oleg Molchanov), I spent a colossal amount from my own pocket. But then I sold the album of the same name for a record amount for the Russian scene. I started going on tour, and then off we went.”
— Irina Saltykova[12].
Two more songs from the album become hits - “Yes and No” and “Clear Falcon”. A video clip is also being shot for the first composition.
Since October 1995, the singer began performing. Performances mainly take place in Moscow clubs[13].
"Blue Eyes"
In November 1996, the singer released her second album, “Blue Eyes.” Oleg Molchanov also worked on the album, writing four songs[13]. In addition, composers Igor Zhirnov and Alexander Nazarov were involved in cooperation. The first video was shot for the title song of the album. The director was Sergei Kalvarsky, and the video itself was filmed in St. Petersburg. The video for this composition was banned from showing on the ORT channel with the wording “excessive eroticism.” The song became a hit, but the album no longer sold like the previous ones. This was partly due to the fact that no further singles were released from the album.
On May 24 and 25, 1997, Saltykova’s solo concerts took place at the Rossiya State Central Concert Hall in Moscow and at the Oktyabrsky Hall in St. Petersburg [ source not specified 938 days

Saltykova went on a large concert tour throughout Russia and the CIS countries, during which she also gave charity concerts for an orphanage in Yerevan and a military hospital in Moscow [ source not specified 938 days

Saltykova appeared on the cover of the November issue of Playboy magazine. Due to huge demand, the magazine's circulation was reprinted several times[14].
"Alice"
In 1998, the singer’s third album “Alice” was released, which was dedicated to her daughter.
“This is my main album. I took off so quickly that people are still surprised. Although it seems to me that this is in order. When I started, it seemed to me that it would be easier further. But it’s hard to resist - our audience is very demanding, and when you’re busy creating all the time, there’s a danger of not taking something into account, not calculating something, or making a mistake. Now I'm changing: the songs from my new disc may seem unexpected to some. I'm changing my image. And Alice is the only and most precious thing I have. I simply have to dedicate at least something to her, because I love her more than anything in the world. She is my real support and support - both in life and in creativity.”
— Irina Saltykova[4].
In the new album, Saltykova decided to soften her image and as a result there were more romantic compositions on the record. The songs “White Scarf” and “Bye-bye” became hits and the new album sold significantly better than its predecessor[14].

Career and first husband of Irina Saltykova
One of Irina Saltykova’s hobbies was singing. She developed this talent all her life and performed at school and student events. And on one of her vacations, Irina went to Sochi, where she met Viktor Saltykov, famous at that time, from the Forum group.
Irina with her husband
They quickly found a common language and soon got married, and in the same year their daughter Alice was born. After 2 years, Victor introduced Saltykova to the head of the Mirage group. Pleasant appearance, slender figure and good voice impressed the jury. Frequent tours and an irregular schedule prevented Irina from caring for her family and raising her daughter.
"Mirage"
She often asked to replace or speak for her. But since all the Mirage singers sang along with a soundtrack, replacing the singers was not so much a disruption of the concert as a minor nuisance for the fans.
“As you wish, but I need to raise my daughter. I will perform whenever possible."
Constant problems of the agency and the singer for six months led to the decision to part with Mirage. But at the same time, Irina Saltykova’s husband began to lose popularity. The albums were not selling, and there was not enough money to hold concerts, since the performances did not pay off. The Forum group broke up, leaving Victor without a penny.

But Irina did not give up: she started working in a restaurant, bought several retail stores where she sold English cosmetics and clothes.
But a dark streak began in Saltykova’s biography. A year after the marriage, incessant conflicts began in the Saltykov family.
Irina Saltykova’s husband had big problems with alcohol, and the relationship itself was like a sine wave: either mad love or wild hatred.
Victor beat his wife more than once, and she scratched his face in response. One of the family’s acquaintances in the “The Stars Aligned” program said that Irina even raised her hand against her husband’s mother:
“Irina Saltykova hit Vitina’s mother, an elderly person, a blockade survivor”
Saltykova herself constantly suspected her husband of cheating and complained that he was very greedy when it came to his family. Irina loves children very much and even said that she would have given birth to more, but she was afraid of the heavy hand of her husband, who did not even give his own daughter a penny.
Irina and Victor
Saltykova convinced her husband to encrypt himself, but in response she received only threats and beatings. After 8 years the marriage broke up. Victor refused to pay alimony and did not take part in raising his daughter.
Solo career of Irina Saltykova
After the divorce, Irina realized that it was time to radically change her life for the sake of her daughter’s future. Having sold all the shops, the apartment, and pawned her jewelry and her husband’s gifts in a pawnshop, Saltykova decided to use this money to record an album with the title song “Gray Eyes.”
The singer immediately realized that she would have to make her way not only with her vocal abilities, but with her appearance.
The song videos turned out to be very provocative and frank for the 90s, which instantly attracted the attention of viewers.

Many studios wanted to collaborate with Irina, which helped her quickly gain popularity and start making good money, although this money was not enough to return all the pawned jewelry. Saltykova’s main feature was her frankness, however, in the second song - “Blue Eyes” - she went too far with piquant scenes.

But after the release of such a video, she was invited to appear for the famous men's magazine Playboy, the circulation of which was even reprinted several times. Irina gave her concerts throughout Russia and the CIS countries, and donated the money she earned on tours to charitable foundations.
"Blue Eyes"
Her third album, Alice, was very different from the previous two. In an interview, Saltykova admitted that her daughter is the most precious thing in her life, and she wanted to dedicate something to Alice. There were no “adult notes” in the songs and videos, but on the contrary, the emphasis was on romance and love.
At first, the singer thought that her album would not be bought as much as the previous ones, but she was very mistaken. The songs from “Alice” became hits and sold even better than the first two albums.
Personal life of Irina Saltykova now
Now Irina Saltykova is no longer actively engaged in her creativity. Her brother Vladislav Endeltsev still works for his sister as a driver and courier. He is married, has three children and even grandchildren. Irina’s father died during the heyday of the singer’s career, and he still keeps in touch with Saltykov’s mother and helps in every possible way.
All contacts with her ex-husband Victor have been severed, and it is impossible to hear a kind word about her wife from the singer.
Still young
Now Irina is already over 50, and she understands that there is no point in building a further career as a singer, since it is almost impossible to catch up with the younger generation.
Irina Saltykova no longer had children; instead, she actively helps her daughter, who followed in her mother’s footsteps. She also published the book “Encyclopedia of Beauty from Irina Saltykova,” which is in demand among fans of the former star.

Studying at a construction college allowed Irina to independently build a house according to her own ideas and with a certain style.
Saltykova's atelier is also popular not only with ladies of her own age, but also with younger girls. Moreover, each person can visit the “House of Beauty”, choose or order fabric, and also independently choose the cut and shape of future clothes.
The former star had no romances after her divorce from Victor; she is still single and happy.
Saltykova published a photo in a translucent swimsuit and shared why it is good for tanning
Irina Saltykova, photo: vk.com/irina_saltykova Singer Irina Saltykova published a bold photo in a swimsuit and shared how good it is for tanning. Recently, rumors appeared online that Saltykova had been diagnosed with cancer. Having seen a photo of Irina under a drip, fans decided it was oncology.
Irina quickly denied the rumors and told what she was doing in Sochi. And, judging by the new photos, the artist is in good health. The star hopes that autumn will be so warm that you can still catch the sun and sunbathe.
Saltykova said about the new spectacular translucent swimsuit: “... firstly, it does not leave white marks on the skin, that is, the body tans evenly, the fabric has the effect of spf 35 sunscreen.” This swimsuit also has a “chic bonus” - it dries instantly. And, what is important for women, it even provides a slight tightening. But this is not so important for 54-year-old beauty Irina Saltykova: she looks like the older sister of her adult daughter Alisa.
Followers carefully examined the photo and appreciated: “Russian Pamela Anderson” put on a transparent swimsuit!!!”, “Great figure”, “Queen”, “I always said that Saltykova is cool!” Irina liked these comments. The singer thanked her subscribers.
