I often have a dream that... Why do we have dreams and what do they mean? Why do I have dreams?

Esotericists are convinced that in a dream the human soul (astral body) travels through the subtle worlds and can communicate with other people and animals. There is even a whole system of knowledge aimed at realizing the world of dreams in practical application - lucid dreams. Scientists have proven that through controlling dream events you can change your destiny. Why do you often dream about the same person? The answer to the question may lie in the plane of various interpretations, which depend on the details of the dream and the subjective experiences of the dreamer.

People are always present in dreams. This could be a person from the past, an acquaintance from the present, or unknown personalities. Also in dreams we are visited by deceased relatives and friends. However, dreamers are puzzled by one question: why does the same person come to sleep over a long period of time? Sometimes an old acquaintance, whom you haven’t seen for many years, comes into your dreams with enviable persistence! Sometimes in a dream you can see a completely unfamiliar person who appears with enviable regularity. What does it mean?

If we consider a detailed interpretation of a dream, we can distinguish three main positions:

  1. dream of a familiar person;
  2. a stranger appears in a dream;
  3. the deceased comes into sleep.

The approach to interpretation has two directions: psychological and esoteric. Psychologists connect the events of dreams with images of reality, and esotericists see in them the contact of the subconscious with the subtle world. For example, frequent vision of a person of the opposite sex may warn of an imminent change in your personal life - starting a family. Provided that the dreams were positive. Seeing a person of the same sex can warn of the appearance of a devoted boyfriend or girlfriend in the near future.

There is also a mystical interpretation of this event. If a person of the opposite sex (familiar or unfamiliar) regularly appears in a dream, you should contact a magician/psychic for a diagnosis. The possibility of magical influence cannot be ruled out. However, you should not take into account a dream about a person with whom you have a real connection. If you are busy thinking about some subject during the day, the regular appearance of his image in a dream means only one thing: you are continuing the line of communication that began during the daytime.

Dreaming of an acquaintance

If the dreamer feels sympathy for this person, it means that the dream realizes dreams that were not realized in reality. In a dream, everything is possible; there are no restrictions or prohibitions. It is through sleep that you can get pleasant sensations from contact with a certain person that are not available during wakefulness. Perhaps during the day you are bothered by shyness or complexes.

If a dream is visited by a familiar person with whom there is no close connection in reality, it means that his subconscious is trying to convey something important to you. Esotericists and psychologists advise setting up a meeting with this person and talking.

If a dream is regularly visited by a person from the past, contacts with whom have been lost, then the interpretation can be twofold. Either the subconscious mind indicates unresolved problems from the past when you were in contact with this person, or you need to get rid of past memories and live a real life.

Stranger in a dream

Esotericists advise in such cases to try to get the stranger to talk. Such a dream is considered a harbinger of changes in life. It is important to pay attention to the emotional state of the stranger: is he friendly or aggressive? A benevolent person who is regularly present in dreams can also be a person’s guardian spirit.

Unpleasant dreams with a stranger in the lead role may have the following explanation. In the past, you experienced a tragedy or witnessed tragic events, this person was also a witness - but you did not pay attention to him. However, the subconscious mind remembers everything. What to do? You should seek clarification from a psychologist or psychic. It’s better to find out everything right away than to get lost in the unknown.

Repeated dreams involving the same person may have different interpretations. Trust your intuition in interpretation. The direction of dream interpretation may be as follows:

  • you constantly think about him during the day;
  • he constantly thinks about you;
  • you need to sort things out;
  • he influences you;
  • sleep realizes daytime dreams;
  • the person wants to help you;
  • he needs your help.

A mystical interpretation can be a magical effect provided (love spell, damage) or the incorporation of an astral essence. In any case, expert advice won't hurt.

Every day in a person’s life many events occur that are remembered by the brain and cause certain reactions. During sleep, only the human body is at rest. During this period, the brain repeats and consolidates all the information received, which can become a so-called scenario for a dream.

In a dream, a person can see the events of the past day, recent situations or the distant past. Under the influence of our thoughts, anxieties and dreams, additional information is formed in the brain, which can cause nightmares, ridiculous visions and completely implausible situations. A dream is a generalized picture of reality and internal experiences.

Why do dreams repeat themselves?

From a scientific point of view, this phenomenon has not been explained. Esotericists explain this fact for several reasons:

  • Warning sign. If you often dream about a person, especially someone you know, then he may want to protect you. Analyze where danger may lie in wait for you, do not take risks.
  • Object of desire. It is possible that you simply feel a feeling of falling in love or love towards the hero of your dreams. Since you constantly return to it in your thoughts, you also remember it in your dreams on a subconscious level.

  • Love spell. In this case, on the contrary, you are the object of desire, and thus receive a sign about it. This is, of course, a pleasant version of events. It's worse if magical power is actually used to gain your favor.
  • Spiritual connection. A person who is close to you in spirit may often appear in a dream. In a similar way, an invisible astral connection arises between you.

Basically, an explanation is found only in the case when a person dreams of an acquaintance. It's rare to have the same stranger constantly come to you in your dreams. If this happens, it is probably nothing more than an accident.

Experts in the field of psychology interpret what is happening in their own way:

  • Repeated or similar dream with the same person

may reflect ambiguity in the system of relationships between the dreamer and the dreamed person. It is believed that any unfinished business has a painful effect on the mind and can remind oneself of oneself or be embodied in dreams.

  • In this version, the opinion coincides with the esotericists: if often

think about a person in reality, then it is likely that he will often appear in a dream.

  • As in the case of unfinished business, unsatisfied

needs may cause a “visit” from an overnight guest. These could be former or desired partners.

Why do dreams stop happening?

If you begin to notice that you have stopped having dreams, pay special attention to your psychological state. Such situations usually happen to people who are regularly exposed to stressful situations or have an unbalanced character. In rare cases, the inability to remember a dream may be a sign of a mental disorder.

There is another point of view, which is confirmed by scientific research. The fact is that sleep consists of several phases, each of which has a special meaning during awakening. Dreams are not remembered if a person is in deep sleep. This usually happens when sleep is interrupted by loud noise, attempts to wake the person, or when sleeping for too long.

Fatigue can also cause lack of dreams. People who sleep little and work very hard have their brains oversaturated with information. During sleep, they flash through our consciousness so quickly that they are practically not stored in memory.

Why do you have dreams?

Normal or pathological?

Constantly

Why does a person have dreams every night ?

In fact, all people without exception have dreams from time to time - even, oddly enough, the blind, but not everyone remembers them.

When they wake up, many simply immediately forget about them. lead to increased frequency of dreams in a person:

  1. Intense rhythm of life. In such a situation, a person receives a lot of information from the outside world, which the brain is forced to process, which leads to increased mental activity even at night.
    Frequent dreams in this case are not a pathology, but they may indicate that the person is close to a stressful situation - perhaps he needs rest.
  2. Passion for current activities . Every person in life has periods of strong motivation for any activity, when the whole consciousness is absorbed in some idea. At the same time, even during sleep, the brain will make references to this activity. Most often, this is where the object of one’s passion is dreamed. Creative individuals are especially susceptible to this phenomenon.
  3. Impressionability . People who tend to express strong emotions may also have frequent dreams. Night visions can be either positive emotional in nature or sharply negative.
  4. Tendency to depression and negative evaluation .
    Individuals who are susceptible to depression and low self-esteem may often experience nightmares reflecting their anxiety and fears. Moreover, such dreams can be intrusive, worsening an already negative emotional state. In this case, it is better to contact a specialist - perhaps you should change your lifestyle, give yourself rest, solve accumulated problems and restore normal emotional background.

Strange

Sometimes people are surprised at the absurdity of night visions and the plots of situations in which they find themselves in the center. However, this is not a pathology .

Dreams are irrational in nature, since a person’s consciousness is turned off during sleep.

The subconscious, participating in the creation of dream plots, does not speak straightforwardly and logically - its language is figurative.

Strange plots and images may appear in dreams because they are symbolic in nature , and it would be wrong to take them literally.

Bright

According to statistics, only 18% of people are confident that they see colorful dreams . And 63% find it difficult to answer whether they are painted or not.

Unfortunately, there is no technology yet that can be used to find out this nuance, so we have to operate only with subjective impressions.

The same statistics show that mentally healthy people have vivid dreams 20 times less often than individuals with mental disorders. People whose visions have a negative connotation are also more likely to see brightly colored pictures when resting at night.

However, the phenomenon of colored dreams in itself is not a diagnosis or pathology. Moreover, it was found that people with higher intellectual abilities are also more likely to see colorful dreams.

This is explained by the fact that such individuals have much more neural connections - that is, the amount of memory; accordingly, a person can reproduce the corresponding picture in more detail.

Also, color visions can speak of the creative potential of the person observing them.

It is worth remembering that the famous Salvador Dali took many of the ideas for his paintings from his dreams.

It has been observed that with age, a person’s ability to see vivid dreams is lost. Most of these visions are among young people.

Mystical rationales for dreams

The great scientist Aristotle was a proponent of the opinion that during sleep a person finds harmony with himself and nature. The soul at this time is able to show the future through dreams. This hypothesis became the basis for conclusions about the gift of clairvoyance. According to Plato, sleep is a source of creative energy and inspiration.

The mystical rationale behind dreams is very common. Surely, every person, having seen a terrible dream, will definitely look at its interpretation in the dream book. The explanation of certain symbols has been evolving throughout almost the entire existence of mankind.

There is no consensus on

For science, there has long been nothing mystical in dreams. Many people know that our mental life consists of the conscious and the unconscious, and the first is much smaller than the second.

The subconscious controls all processes in the human body, collects information from the surrounding life - this happens outside of our consciousness. Only in a dream, when the consciousness is resting, does access to the subconscious open, which is usually closed when we are awake.

From the manifestations of the subconscious, we are well aware of such a phenomenon as intuition, premonition. Some listen to her - and are grateful that she saved her from trouble. And those who ignored the bad feeling will only regret it.

Dreams are also our intuition. And since the subconscious operates only with images, and not with words, we often dream of figurative scenes, or even at first glance, some kind of nonsense.

The most faithful interpreter of a dream can only be the one who dreamed it. In a dream, the subconscious processes all the information, events and experiences that are associated with this person, giving him clues in images that only he can understand. If a dream about the same thing repeats periodically, this is the subconscious trying to convey the necessary information until you understand it.

Why do you have nightmares?

Psychology explains this by saying that our attention is more focused on some troubles, accidents, stresses that we have experienced. This negativity accumulates and manifests itself in nightmarish pictures and images.

Often such dreams are accompanied by a feeling of anxiety and danger. If you focus your attention on these experiences from the past, you will pull it into the future, in other words, make the nightmare come true. But this rarely happens due to the fact that we cannot concentrate to such an extent.

Colourful dreams

90% of people have such dreams. There are many explanations for this - from color televisions to an abnormal mental state. It is worth paying attention to these conclusions from those who have studied the issue. If you have dreams in green and blue tones, everything is normal in your condition and life. If they appear red, it may be due to an increase in temperature from some kind of infection. Dreams in yellow-brown tones warn of problems in the intestines, and black ones warn of nervous breakdowns or diseases.

Dreams. What do they mean

How we want to know what our dreams mean! If you dreamed of something good, joyful, bright and pleasant, we are happy, even our mood improves. And if it’s alarming, severe, what is this warning about? If the images are elusive, elusive, how can we understand them? You can wave your hand, which means this is not a warning from our intuition.

But if you are focused on an important life problem and are looking for a solution, then a hint may come in a dream. How to better understand it:

 In the evening, place a piece of paper and a pen next to you, tune yourself to perceive the hint, and fall asleep with the thought that you need to remember the dream.

 In the morning, immediately after waking up, write down what is still flashing through your mind. Even if it's nonsense. Choose a name for these visions or express it in one phrase.

 If you dreamed of other people, determine your connection with them in real life, what pleasant or unpleasant things they are associated with for you. Remember: we always dream only about ourselves.

 What were the very first thoughts and associations that arose in you in connection with the images in your dream, what feelings did they evoke? Decide on this.

 Analyzing these thoughts and feelings, decipher your dream and possible clues yourself. Remember, sleep is our intuition.

Forewarned is forearmed

Probably everyone has had a dream once in their life that came true at least partially in life. We call such dreams prophetic.

Treat them as a possible scenario. But in life you can choose another option. If the dream is vivid, memorable and comes to you repeatedly, perhaps this is a prophetic dream, a warning. Be grateful for the hint.

The interpretation of dreams has always been considered an art, a science, secret knowledge to which only initiates have access. But it is unlikely that such a person will meet now. But there are many dream books, and the interpretations in them often contradict one another, because they seem to have been taken out of thin air. They will only harm a gullible person: if he believes such predictions, then fate may turn in the wrong direction.

They don’t just try to solve dreams. There are many beliefs about which dreams come true on which days or will be empty. What should you do to ward off a bad dream? For example, popular rumor advises: if you had a bad dream, say “Where is the night, there is a dream” or “A good dream rise again, a bad dream - crack.” At least this will reassure you that you did everything you could.

So, dreams are a person’s intuition, which the subconscious throws at him. What they mean can only be understood by those who have seen the dream.

If an old acquaintance appears in a dream, whom you have not seen for many years, or a deceased person, the dream takes on a special mystery. Sometimes such a visitor is a stranger, and then it is all the more important to understand what it all means: a warning, an astral connection, love or a love spell. If the same dream haunts you for several months or years, it most likely indicates some fears and complexes.

Options for interpretation

Dream interpretation has two directions: psychological and esoteric. Psychologists explain everything from the perspective of a person’s relationship with real events, and esotericists link night visions to the influence of the subconscious.

It can be assumed that constant dreams about a person from everyday reality are a continuation of communication with him, but in a different form. Intrusive visits from unpleasant personalities make you think about the presence of magical influence and turn to a specialist for help. It is not without reason that ancient magicians tried to subjugate sleep in order to consciously use it for predictions with the help of information from spirits.

Why do you dream about numbers - the meaning of each number and dream plots

Possible reasons

The interpretation of visions in dream books, when the same person dreams, takes the following directions:

  • the dreamer often thinks about this person during the daytime;
  • that person constantly thinks about the dreamer;
  • there is an unclear relationship between the dreamer and the person;
  • the guest from the dream intends to influence the sleeper in real life;
  • day dreams come true;
  • a person wants to warn and help;
  • the person needs help;
  • there is a random projection due to shock or mental trauma: the image of a certain person has entered the memory, and therefore from time to time causes a state of déjà vu.

Psychologists' opinion:

  • It is important to understand that the image that you dream about every night speaks of inner fears. And in order not to succumb to depression, you need to purposefully work with them.
  • If you have the same dream several times, it may mean that the problem has recently arisen.
    It’s worth paying attention to the worries you’ve been having lately and trying to comprehend them: for example, falling in the middle of the street just indicates uncomfortable shoes, which was perceived by the subconscious as a threat to health.
  • in different dreams the same image has a new meaning.
  • The degree of familiarity with a person is also of great importance:

    Degree of familiarityInterpretation
    Familiar
    • If an acquaintance who often appears in a dream evokes sympathy in reality, then the vision represents the embodiment of what you want in life. In this way, the dreamer has the opportunity to receive pleasant impressions that are unavailable during the daytime due to complexes.
    • If you dream about the same person with whom there is no communication in reality, in reality this person wants to tell the dreamer something. Both esotericists and psychologists recommend making an appointment with this person.
    • A person from the past constantly appearing in a dream indicates possible unfinished issues with him, or gives a hint that it is necessary to leave a memory of him and live with new events
    Unfamiliar
    • If a stranger appears in a dream many times in a row, according to esotericists, it is worth calling him for a conversation in order to clarify the reason for his visits.
    • The emotional state of the guest also matters. If he is friendly and positive, then he may well play the role of a guardian angel for the sleeping person. If dreams leave unpleasant impressions, then their possible cause is tragic events of the past, in which the dreamer had to become a participant or witness at the same time as the person from the dream. In this case, it is recommended to contact a psychologist to help you understand your self-perception.
    Darling
    • Psychologists view this phenomenon as possible unclear relationships that penetrate consciousness and become brighter in dreams. Thoughts directly influence the content of sleep if they are activated during the day. If the dreamer is dissatisfied sexually or emotionally, he is likely to dream about former lovers or desired characters whom he would be glad to meet.
    • If you dream of an ex-boyfriend, then, depending on past relationships, the dream may warn about frivolous actions in the present and indicate a lack of romance with your current partner. If his image does not arise out of feelings, there is a possibility that he has important information for the dreamer.

    Each of us sooner or later thinks about why we dream? This question has worried humanity for many centuries.

    The question of where dreams come from does not arise now. Our ancient ancestors, including the most illustrious minds, asked them. According to Aristotle, during sleep the human body enters a state of peace and finds harmony with the world around it. The soul has the gift of foresight.

    Scientists of the 20th century believed that dreams every night are associated with physiological processes occurring in the body during rest. Some have theorized about the dissipation of various chemicals that accumulate in the brain during the day. A plausible version says that a person can dream so that his brain can free itself from unnecessary information and “reboot”.

    The question of why we dream does not have a 100% accurate answer.

    However, scientists have long proven that during REM sleep, blood pressure on the brain increases sharply. The main organ begins to work actively, and a person awakened in this state can accurately retell the entire plot. In other words, every dream well remembered by a person was dreamed in the rapid phase. If people don't remember their dreams, it means they simply don't remember them. This may be the answer to the question why dreams are rare, it’s all about forgetting them.

    In the question of where dreams come from, the observations of the famous scientist Pavlov are very important. It was he who first proved that the cerebral cortex is responsible for how dreams appear. Its nerve cells control signals transmitted to all organs and are highly reactive. If a person is overtired, then the cells turn on protection - they begin to slow down, as a result of which all the information accumulated in them during the day is processed and deleted. It would seem that in this way we can explain that due to the process of inhibition of parts of the brain, we have dreams every day.

    But there are many dreams to which higher nervous activity cannot be related, for example, prophetic, erotic, or not related to reality in any way. According to psychologist Sigmund Freud, a person has strange dreams because of his subconscious. The cerebral cortex receives information that was previously unknown to it.

    Scientists have long come to the conclusion that everyone dreams, rarely or often. Some are simply not stored in memory. And if you suddenly start having “night visions,” don’t worry. They were there before, and always, but unmemorable.

    why do I have so many dreams at night?

    Girls, hello everyone, so I’m ready to register again on the Babyblog website and start all over again... share my story with you, even though many of us are similar! Since childhood, I loved to play as a daughter-mother, I looked after my doll like a real baby, I dreamed that when I grew up I would have many children, as I grew older this thought did not leave me: a beloved husband, a happy family and a bunch of children... so I carried these thoughts within myself until I was 24 years old! I married a wonderful and beloved man, we we started a family! We decided that we would start planning for a baby in about six months, I started drinking ok, after drinking them for six months we realized that it was time... it was time to try to get pregnant! For the first two months I didn’t particularly monitor ovulation and the number of births, everything was as it was before !But then, realizing that nothing was working, I started tracking ovulation, measuring bt, sitting on websites, reading up the necessary information and away we go... a cycle from menstruation to menstruation... tests, tests, a lot of tests and again and again a negative result! planning and chasing a positive test, I almost drove myself to madness...myself and my beloved husband! After six months of fruitless attempts, we decided to get examined, and started with my husband! And the result was terrible, very low sperm motility...we were very worried, but we were treated and brought the spermogram to normal, this is our big victory! In parallel with my husband’s treatment, I was completely examined: everything was normal and there were no abnormalities, the doctor said that everything would work out... but a year has passed and there is still no pregnancy, my nerves are running out, I’m afraid that I won’t I can get pregnant, it’s slowly filling me up from the inside! New doctor and still the same prognosis: you’re doing well, go get pregnant, take a break, go somewhere! Of course, I couldn’t get distracted, no matter how much I wanted to, my thoughts always returned to the same goal - getting pregnant! We went and rested... but to no avail, so another year flew by and that’s when the whole nightmare began: I became paranoid, sex became scheduled , conception turned into an obsessive habit... it was very painful mentally, talking about pregnancy with someone, seeing pregnant women, all this brought such mental pain, I cried into my pillow more than once screaming, why do I need all this, because I am healthy and my husband I’m healthy, but God doesn’t give us children, I was afraid that I would go crazy, the desire to conceive a baby took over me so much! The girls who went through this will understand me and will not judge me! My husband and parents were very worried about me, they watched how I was with everyone I mentally killed myself in cycles, rushed from IVF to adoption, thoughts about the child did not leave me even in my sleep! Dreams are a separate issue, for example, I dream of a positive test or an empty cradle, or even your baby and you are happy in your dream... and you wake up empty! Two years later planning, I realized that something needed to change: I quit my job, went to a new doctor (in two years I changed a lot of doctors because... not one was able to say something intelligible and help)! The new gynecologist looked at my tests and said that you will get pregnant with me 100% (I visited her in March): she prescribed me two types of physio with a break of a month, injections in June sent me on vacation, told me to rest until September and if I don’t get pregnant in these three months, come to her again for further treatment! When I left the office, she told me after me that she was sure that I would come to She’s pregnant until September! Even then I thought, well, well, you all say that, but there’s no point and I left! The summer was wonderful, I had a rest and for the first time I gave myself the idea to get distracted and I succeeded, in August my husband and I went on vacation at the seaside , I knew that my ovulation would happen at sea, we also jokingly said: Let’s bring a doll from the sea, that would be great! But we understood that this was unlikely... having arrived from the sea, I continued my normal life... and girls, you won’t believe it... the delay is 2.3 days, the stomach aches like during menstruation, I think it’s strange, I don’t have a delay of more than 3 days... on the 4th day I bought a test and... the test strip appeared first than the control one and is also bright, bright... I imagined girls to another how I would react to pregnancy... but the first thing I felt was fear, and then tears... I called my husband and said: I seem to be pregnant! Yes, I can’t imagine how happy my husband and parents were, but not me! I felt like, something is wrong... I cried and prayed that everything would be fine with the baby! Yes, during the implantation period I had the same dream twice: that they were having an abortion and they were whispering something over my stomach, in the dream book it turned out to be pregnancy, but on in fact, the dream was prophetic....at 6-7 weeks I began to have a detachment, 10 days of preservation, 10 sleepless nights, a cycle of thoughts, the fear of losing the baby before I realized that I was pregnant! But my baby could not survive, the detachment disrupted nutrition and the pregnancy froze! It was a shock... no emotions on the outside, but inside a waterfall of tears, my soul was simply choking in tears... October 3rd cleansing and thoughts after anesthesia that I no longer want to get pregnant, I don’t want and cannot experience it again... but after a month I understand that I still want a child, but no longer as if fear was hidden somewhere inside and is waiting for the right time... it’s scary, scary to go through this again, why is all this, why does someone have a bunch of abortions and then get pregnant calmly again, why does someone gives birth to children and abandons them, and you want your little bundle, which is given to you with such difficulty and such pain! I hid all the positive tests and ultrasound pictures of the baby, because... it’s too painful! I didn’t even have time to understand if I was pregnant! Girls, forgive me for such confusion! Now I feel a surge of strength within me, the feeling is slowly beginning to grow in me that I’m ready again, ready for a victorious battle for my happiness of becoming a mother! I dream that one day I will tell my child how long we have been waiting for him! Please never give up, strive for your goal, no matter how painful and difficult it is, I believe that we all deserve our happiness!

    Who dreams of bright scenes?

    Why do people dream?

    This question can be answered based on who sees them most often:

    • People with vivid perceptions and an active psyche constantly dream about night stories, i.e. dreamers. During complete relaxation and rest, they simply think out the events and stories they know.
    • One of the reasons why a person dreams is constant mental work. If you think intensely all day, your brain will continue to be active at night. He will come up with something that was not obvious to consciousness when you were awake.
    • Creative people often say: “we dream.” This happens because even during rest they subconsciously strive to create something.
    • Impressionable people, melancholic people, people who keep their own or other people’s secrets - they will all sleep and see different scenes.

    Nuts

    Source: iStock

    Eat a handful of nuts before bed. Why them? Trytophan, found in nuts, is converted into niacin, which is a key component in the creation of serotonin and the regulation of melatonin in the human body. Snacks like almonds and peanuts contain muscle-relaxing magnesium. Definitely what you need before bed, right?

    Scientific explanations

    Every day the brain remembers and reacts in a certain way to a huge number of events. You go to bed, but only your body is completely at rest. And the brain continues to repeat and consolidate the information, making it a kind of script.

    The scenario can be a repetition of the events of the past month, recent or current situations. Anxieties, thoughts and dreams form additional information that can lead to completely unrealistic stories, ridiculous visions and nightmares. What is sleep from a scientific point of view?

    Nothing more than a generalized picture of internal experiences and reality.

    Cheese

    Source: iStock

    Ah, cheese. It is said to have a wonderful effect on sleep, making dreams clearer and longer. It's all because of the tryptophan in cheese, which can produce serotonin when you combine it with carbohydrates.

    But what is also interesting is that cheese sometimes causes not the most pleasant dreams. And spicy cheese can cause very colorful dreams on the level of science fiction.

    Why do people suffer from nightmares?

    Nightmares are formed and reflected by the brain for several main reasons. They are usually an emotional response to some grandiose situation. The brain processes and experiences them over and over again. Have you experienced a turning point? Then be prepared for terrible visions to come to you in your sleep.

    Nightmares are vital because they allow the brain to cope with real horror and process information about it. Otherwise, mental problems are possible. If you have nightmares regularly or constantly, you simply cannot cope with all the negativity in your life. It stays in your head and torments you even while you are resting. It is best to seek help from a sleep specialist or psychologist.
