Biography of Larisa Guzeeva

TV presenter and actress Larisa Guzeeva was born into a single-parent family and never saw her father Andrei. She was raised by her mother Albina (died in 2020), who married Viktor Makurin in 1964. Larisa Guzeeva has a half-brother, Vitaly.

Since childhood, Larisa Guzeeva dreamed of becoming an actress. After school, she went to Leningrad alone to enter the Institute of Music, Theater and Cinematography, graduated in 1984 and was sent to the Orenburg Drama Theater, but was invited to play in films.

She immediately received the main role in Eldar Ryazanov’s film “Cruel Romance,” which made her famous. Then she worked at the Lenfilm studio.

Larisa Guzeeva has starred in more than 60 films during her career: “Rivals” (1985), “White Curse” (1987), “Heiress” (2001, 2005), “Roof” (2009), “Anakop” (2014), TV series “The Life of Klim Samgin” (1988), “Home” (1995), “Right to Defense” (2002) and many others.

In 1994 she became an Honored Artist of the USSR.

Larisa Guzeeva is a famous TV presenter. From 2001 to 2005 she hosted the talk show “I am Mom.” Since 2008, she has been hosting the show “Let’s Get Married!” on Channel One, and received the TEFI Award for it as the best presenter.

Second marriage

She met the temperamental handsome Georgian, who later became Guzeeva’s second husband, on the set. Kakha Tolordava also got a role in the film. He was captivated by the beauty of the actress, and the man struck Larisa with his excellent upbringing, amazing caring, ability to solve all the problems of his other half and surround her with constant attention. Soon, Guzeeva openly stated in all interviews that she had been looking for just such a partner all her life and wanted to give birth to a child.

Kakha became the father of Larisa’s first child, George. The girl hid her pregnancy from her chosen one for several months so that he would not forbid the actress to act in film. And a few days before the birth, the couple modestly and quietly signed at the nearest registry office. Guzeeva did not like the role of a faithful wife and caring mother at all. The actress was unable to stay on maternity leave even for the first month after giving birth. Very soon she returned to filming, and her husband remained as the mistress and nanny of the house. This marriage did not last long. Soon the Georgian told Larisa that he was not ready to live by her rules and filed for divorce. After this, Kakha returned to live in Tbilisi. To this day, the man communicates with his son, but immediately after breaking up he stopped all contact with Guzeeva.

Personal life of Larisa Guzeeva

In 1980-1984 she met with musician Sergei Kuryokhin.

In 1984, she married assistant director Ilya, who suffered from drug addiction. She left him in 1991, and he later died of an overdose. Guzeeva also had a short affair with Dmitry Nagiyev.

In 1991, on the set, she met actor and editor Kakha Tolordava, from him she gave birth to a son, George, on April 19, 1992, and the wedding took place a few days before. A couple of years later they divorced.

In 1999, Larisa Guzeeva married restaurateur Igor Bukharov. They had known each other since they were 17 years old. In this marriage, a daughter, Olga, was born in 2000.

Personal life

Larisa Guzeeva has always been the center of male attention. She was married three times. The actress herself admits that she had many affairs, and her youth was very stormy.

During her student years, Larisa had a romantic relationship with the aspiring avant-garde musician, composer, screenwriter and actor Sergei Kuryokhin.

They met in Moscow, and then he took her to Leningrad to show the girl another world - they visited exhibitions, met extraordinary and talented people. Larisa admired the courage of her chosen one and tried to keep up with him, plunging headlong into a new life. By the way, it was Sergei who persuaded the future star to enter the Leningrad Institute.

They spent four whole years together, but it all ended due to the fact that Kuryokhin always tried to keep Guzeeva under control.

Guzeeva’s next chosen one was Sergei Shakurov.

They met during their student years. At that time, Seryozha had already starred in several films and had influence in acting circles. Larisa charmed him at first sight. Shakurov was so lost in love with Guzeeva’s beauty that when Ryazanov offered him a role in “Cruel Romance,” the actor set a condition: either he filmed with his beloved, or refused to film. Ironically, Sergei never starred in the film based on Ostrovsky’s play due to the fact that he was offered the role of Cyrano de Bergerac at the Stanislavsky Theater. Nikita Mikhalkov took his place both on the set and in Guzeeva’s heart.

Guzeeva did not expect that she could fall in love right on the set with her film partner. However, no one was surprised by this turn of events: it was impossible not to pay attention to Nikita Mikhalkov.

He constantly organized banquets at his own expense and invited gypsy parties. Larisa sincerely believed that the actor was doing all this for her sake, in order to attract her attention.

“When he looked at me, everything inside turned upside down. I couldn't resist his charm. But we never got to the point of a romance. It was just a fall in love on my part, which, fortunately for me, passed painlessly,” said Guzeeva.
