Wayne (2019)
The highly rated short series is an interesting action-comedy about the road adventures of a troubled 16-year-old teenager. Before his death, his father told Wayne about the existence of a rare Pontiac, stolen by his mother’s lover. The boy is determined to return his parents' inheritance and goes to Florida on a motorcycle, accompanied by his girlfriend. At first, Del, who seemed like a good girl, turns out to be a real comrade in the misadventures that Wayne, who does not tolerate injustice, gets into. Arriving at the scene, the guys find out that local criminals have their eyes on the car.

Gradually, he himself goes over to Josep’s side. Classmates do not forgive Kaspar for his betrayal, not suspecting that their cruelty will lead to devastating consequences.
The plot of the resonant drama by Estonian director Ilmar Raag is also inspired by the events at the American Columbine School. The creators wondered how the high school students who committed the massacre felt. The result is one of the best films about school bullying and its unpredictable impact on the psyche of the victim.

A teenage road movie combined with British black humor about 17-year-old James, who as a child witnessed his mother's suicide, which left an indelible imprint on the child's psyche. As a boy, James tortured animals, dreaming of becoming an adult and starting killing people. The schoolboy meets the unsociable Alyssa, who is planning to escape from her mother’s new family in order to find her long-gone father. The future maniac decides that a random fellow traveler is quite suitable for the role of the first victim and undertakes to accompany her. But road adventures bring young people together and James no longer dreams of becoming a serial killer.

Euphoria (2019)
A gritty and uncompromising teen drama based on an Israeli series and produced by rapper Drake. Ru is only seventeen, and the schoolgirl has already managed to undergo rehabilitation in a clinic after an overdose of illegal substances. Returning home, the teenager again finds himself in a vicious circle of a hated school, unloved relatives and drug-addicted friends. Within a week, a depressed Ru buys pills from a dealer and is ready to sink to the bottom of her life again. Perhaps a new acquaintance, the transgender girl Jules, will keep the heroine of the modern series from taking a fatal step?

13-year-old orphan Anne Shirley is wise beyond her years and extremely sociable. Having spent many years in an orphanage, the girl was happy when she was adopted by an elderly brother and sister from the Green Gables farm. Upon arrival at the new place, it turns out that Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert were hoping to welcome an au pair boy into the family. But during the week Anne spent on the farm, the Cuthberts fell in love with the cheerful and wayward girl so much that even a conflict with a neighbor and suspicion of theft could not force them to return her to the orphanage. The film adaptation of Lucy Maud Montgomery's novel Anne of Green Gables is worth watching for lovers of dramatic and beautiful cinema with meaning.
