5-7 am - at this time the skin begins to prepare for the new day. Special hormones are produced that activate the protective barrier of cells. The protective function increases at this time, so from five to seven you cannot apply nourishing masks or active creams. The substance simply will not penetrate deep into the skin and will not give the desired effect. It is best to take a contrast shower before 7:00 am. Washing with cold water will not only wake you up, but will provide a healthy complexion to your face. Renew the fluid lost overnight by drinking one glass of clean, non-mineral water.
Evening
18-20 hours
This is a period of active absorption of oxygen by the skin and is favorable for the introduction of various cleansers. Therefore, do not delay removing your makeup, because the skin, no less than other organs, needs rest.

To avoid morning swelling, you need to take care of your skin not before you get ready to go to bed, but 1-1.5 hours before bedtime. After applying the cream or other product, after 20 minutes blot the excess with a cardboard napkin. If your face still looks swollen during the day, change your night cream.
21-23 hours
In the late evening hours (from 20 one to 20 three hours), the body begins to intensively produce the hormone serotonin, which prepares us (including our skin) for sleep. During this period, the work of all systems and organs slows down, which means late dinners should be excluded so as not to gain extra pounds and avoid cellulite.

To start regeneration, carry out exfoliating procedures. After soothe the skin with a gel or balm, apply your favorite mask or use a regenerating serum. An hour or an hour and a half before bedtime, you can apply products that include caffeine and escin to your skin. This will allow you to look fresh and alert in the morning.

- Apply night skin care cream one and a half to two hours before bedtime. If you don’t have that much time, pat your face dry with a dry cloth before going to bed.
- The products are applied half an hour or 40 minutes before you are going to go outside. If you make an exception and go out immediately after applying the cream to your skin, you will lose the protective barrier and be at risk of infection;
- Apply any cream only along massage lines. And with slightly pressing movements, smooth the skin, stimulating nerve endings and increasing blood circulation;
- Apply any nourishing or moisturizing element to previously cleansed and dried skin. This is the only way to increase the permeability of cosmetics;
- To speed up the absorption of gel, mousse or cream, first apply it to your palm and hold it for a while so that it warms up to your body temperature, only then apply it to your face.
Apply the care product pointwise using light patting movements. Initially, distribute the substance in the chin area, then move to the cheekbones and nasolabial folds. Leave the forehead and nose last. After this, proceed to applying the cream to the surface of the neck and décolleté.

Basic facial skin care should be done every day, morning and evening. It takes no more than 3 minutes and should become the same habit as brushing your teeth.
Correct technique for applying cosmetics
All cosmetics must be applied only along massage lines - these are the lines of least stretch of the skin. Otherwise, you will stretch your skin every day and contribute to the premature appearance of wrinkles.
- All cosmetics must be applied using your fingertips - without stretching or pressing on the skin.
- The brush should be relaxed and the fingertips should glide smoothly along the surface of the skin.
- If the cream is quite thick or the skin is very thin, for example, around the eyes, then the cream can be applied with light patting movements. It is recommended to do this with the ring finger, since it is the weakest and makes it more difficult for them to press too hard on the skin. But personally, I prefer to do this with my middle finger, since I have a light hand and can control the pressure well with any finger.
It is not difficult to remember the main massage lines - almost all lines go from the center of the face to the periphery. Only in the area under the eyes is it the other way around - from the outer corner of the eye to the inner. On the front surface of the neck, cosmetics are applied from bottom to top, and on the side, on the contrary, from top to bottom.
It is necessary to care for the skin of the neck in the same way as for the face, because in this area the skin is thinner, less nourished, and therefore loses elasticity and ages even faster than the face.
These two rules - Regularity and Correct application technique - are much more important than the brand and cost of your cosmetics. And much more effective than an emergency visit to a cosmetologist before a vacation or corporate event.
