The main rules of morning makeup
Every woman does makeup before going to work, school, or any other event. In the morning, our skin has not yet really woken up, so it should not be overloaded with cosmetic products so as not to injure it. Leading cosmetologists in the world recommend using special light masks at night, which will help tidy up your facial skin by morning.
You can prepare such masks yourself, or you can buy them in a store. Also on sale are creams with a dense texture, or lighter fluids for different skin types. Thanks to this night care, you can reduce the time it takes to create beautiful makeup in the morning.
Beautiful every day
These daytime makeup lessons for beginners at home using our step-by-step photos will allow you to be different every day. But at the same time equally beautiful!
- The first step in creating this beautiful eye makeup is to apply a light shadow all over the eyelid. Makeup artists advise choosing a matte texture for your daytime look.
Interesting! You can also highlight the inner corner of your eye to make your eyes appear larger.
- Paint the outer corner of the eye with light brown shadows. Use them to draw a light line above the eyelid.
- Then highlight the outer corner of the eye with a dark color. Remember that the key to a successful smokey eye is careful shading.
- Armed with a black liner or pencil, highlight the upper eyelid with a thin line and a neat arrow.
Often, for a beautiful daytime make-up, graceful winged eyeliner and a base of neutral shades, like in this tutorial, are enough.
- Paint the entire moving eyelid with light shadows with shimmer.
- Using eyeliner, draw a thin tip of the arrow.
- Make the arrow a little thicker. Let the line of the upper eyelid be a continuation of the arrow.
- Using a flat brush and dark shadows, make the result of your efforts softer and shaded.
Sometimes, even in daytime makeup, you want to go a little beyond naturalness. If that's the mood you're in today, extend your wings and allow yourself a little flirty sparkle.
- Use a light shade to indicate the moving eyelid.
- Use a dark purple tone to highlight the outer corner of the eye and the line above the moving eyelid. The outline of the shadows from the edge should be clear, as if you were drawing an arrow.
- After carefully blending light and dark shadows, you can add an accent to the moving eyelid with glitter.
- The finishing touch is a perfectly straight arrow line of the upper eyelid.
The peach eyeshadow palette has a wonderful property - it makes the image fresher and younger. This is definitely worth taking advantage of!
- Highlight the eyelids with matte light peach eyeshadow.
- Mark the outer corner of the eye with brown shades. Blend this border, feel free to fill the line above the moving eyelid.
- To make your eyes more expressive, highlight the upper eyelid with a line of black eyeliner and draw a small arrow.

Stages of morning makeup
Cleansing
In the morning, the skin needs to be cleansed anyway. During the night, sebum accumulates on it, and if you use a mask or night cream, you must remove any remaining makeup in the morning. For sensitive skin, choose alcohol-free cleansers, but for oily skin, toners are best.
Hydration
Moisturize and moisturize again! Before any makeup, especially morning makeup, the skin will require moisturizing. In this case, both the foundation and all makeup in general will last longer and look much better than without it.
Concealer for dark circles
Especially in the morning, the skin under the eyes can look tired and sleepy, so dark circles are not uncommon. Concealer will quickly and reliably hide such a problem.
Primer
There are several types of primer on sale, distinguished by color. To read more about makeup primer, follow this link, where you can find out what the difference between primer is and how to use it correctly.
Mascara + eyeliner
Makeup artists advise using a minimum of pencil in morning makeup, but there are no restrictions on mascara. Of course, makeup will completely depend on the shape of the eyes and the type of face, so the opinion on a small application of pencil is controversial and will depend only on a direct indicator of the individuality of the woman’s appearance type.
Brows
The last step in makeup is the eyebrows. There is one life hack that will help you significantly save time on makeup in the morning - this is to do your eyebrows in advance. But here you will need a special technique or full coloring. These include eyebrow lamination, microblading, tattooing, permanent makeup, and use henna or paint as coloring.
Morning makeup: 5 main mistakes and how to avoid them
No matter how much you write about mistakes in makeup, it’s still not enough. The edifying “You don’t have to do that” from a patronizing manner somehow doesn’t work... Everyone reads it and grins: “Well, no, this is not about me! This is an obvious thing." And in the morning in the bathroom they quickly put into practice a good half of the points learned. I will now try to revive the morning getting ready for work before your eyes.
Hydration
Let's start from the very beginning, since one very (!) common mistake creeps in here. You woke up, washed your face and went to breakfast... without applying your day cream. That’s already “minus 1 to karma”! If you didn’t apply the cream right away, then most likely you will apply it immediately before makeup, namely before foundation. But it is not recommended to do this, because the cream must be completely absorbed, and this takes about five minutes (and in the morning five minutes goes by an hour). If you apply the foundation directly after your day cream, your makeup is more likely to run off quickly.
Disguise
From time to time, pimples appear treacherously on your face, and you buy a denser tone so that not a single enemy shows through? Do you apply this thick foundation with your fingers, trying to spread it all over your face? If this picture is familiar to you, know that everything is wrong here. In one action there are two errors at once. First: you should never buy a thick foundation for daily makeup in order to even out a couple (or even not a couple) of local rashes. In order to hide local imperfections, there is a special product called concealer. And the tone is created in order to even out the overall color and texture of the skin. And mistake number two: don’t blend the tone with your fingers. There is a high risk of leaving stains and streaks. Better buy a brush or beauty blender.
Sculpting
Do you want defined, sexy cheekbones? And you just happen to have a gorgeous new bronzer... And you generously apply it under your cheekbone... Stop, wrong again! Bronzer, although much darker than the complexion tone, is not a sculptor! This means that it will not make your cheeks sunken - simply because its function is to give a tan, and not to draw shadows on the face. Remember! Sculptor - for defined cheekbones, bronzer - for tanning (and apply it to the protruding parts, like highlighter).
Blush
You haven’t been on vacation for a long time, you look exhausted, your face is haggard. What can you do to freshen up your face if not with blush? Knowing this, you generously apply them to your cheeks with a large fluffy brush... and you get not a rested look, but a “Marfushka-darling”. My advice: buy a brush with a smaller diameter for blush than for powder. And apply them only to the apples of your cheeks, first shaking off excess product from the brush.
Arrows
@chloebbbb
I tidied up my skin, combed my eyebrows, now I quickly drew an arrow and ran to work. Stop! You can not do it this way! By lunchtime the arrow will definitely be smudged, imprinted and look like dirt. And to prevent it from imprinting, the durability of the product (liner or pencil) is not enough. The moving eyelid is more humid than the skin of the face, therefore, to prevent this moisture from spoiling your eyeliner, it must be “blocked” for the whole day. To do this, you should apply an eye primer. It will absorb excess moisture and keep your makeup in pristine condition. And if you also fix it with shadows, the effect of professional makeup is guaranteed!
