Techniques and types of makeup for dark eyes and dark hair with photos and videos

Very often, after seeing makeup on someone else, we do it ourselves. Then, having gotten used to a certain makeup, we use it quite often. But this is not true, because in different cases (work, party, picnic in nature, etc.) you should select the most suitable makeup.

Black and white makeup is considered classic.

General recommendations for black and white makeup

  • It is important to know that black visually reduces the size of the eye, while white makes it larger. Keep in mind that black emphasizes the clarity of the lines, and white blurs the outline of the eye.
  • White, even pearlescent, light application of shadows at the inner corner of the eyes creates the effect of shining eyes. This little trick will come in handy if you are tired.
  • For daytime makeup, it is better not to draw wings; you can appear vulgar if you apply them ineptly.
  • During the day, makeup should be discreet and highlight your natural beauty.

Makeup for gray eyes

The uniqueness and originality of gray eyes lies in the ability to change color depending on the shade of the applied shadows. It is very convenient that almost any makeup suits such eyes.

You can emphasize the features of gray eyes with the help of feminine tricks:

  • With a dark complexion, cool shades of shadows look better;
  • to make the look appear radiant, you need to use pearlescent colors;
  • with a very dark complexion they combine brown tones;

  • the use of warm tones with pale or too light skin focuses attention on the complexion;
  • shades of the blue palette give the eyes the same shade;
  • If you have cool skin tones, purples and fresh green tones are perfect.

Sandy shades are ideal for gray-eyed blondes. They give the look warmth and openness. At this time, almost all shades of decorative cosmetics are suitable for dark-haired girls. However, it is better not to get carried away with turquoise, yellow and plum.

Advice! To prevent your eyes from appearing tear-stained, you should avoid colors that are too bright or dark.

Daytime black and white makeup

Daytime black and white makeup

Often for a working day it is enough just to apply black mascara to your eyelashes and line your eyelids. Moreover, it is undesirable to paint both eyelids; it is better to paint either the lower or upper eyelid. Bright eyeliner from all sides can create an unpleasant impression (“panda eyes”).

The most suitable option would be to line the lower eyelid with a black pencil (and from the inside), apply white shadows to the moving eyelid, paint the inner corner of the eye with shining white and apply black shadows to the eyelid closer to the outer edge of the eyes. Blend the black shadows a little so that they are not bright, but smoothly blend into the white color.

The main thing in this kind of makeup is not to overdo it with black color: the makeup should turn out discreet, as if grayish.

Making an eyeshadow palette at home

How to turn unnecessary and inappropriate colors into a palette with current tones in an hour.

I had a whole bunch of mica, pigments and shadows in tones that didn’t suit me. It’s like when you come to the store, and there are such magical lamps that everything seems sparkling and beautiful, you pick something up, come home, and it turns out to be not a crystal champagne tone, but some kind of rotten pink or vulgar salmon tone. )) And you leave them to gather dust on the shelf until the next time they are sorted and thrown away by their expiration date.

Today this is not the case. You give new life to loser shadows!: P

Here is the foundation of today's creation - a palette of broken budget blushes. I wash the palette and peel off the aluminum inserts.

And what is needed is alcohol and glycerin (for pure pigments and mica, since the shadows already contain binder.

And also some convenient container for mixing tones. From scrap materials:

Plastic spoons for mixing, pouring, grinding...

Well, and most importantly - jars of unsuitable tones and as an example the tone of the shadows you use. In my photo, not everything is of course) At first I thought of trying three of them... but then I somehow imperceptibly added another tone... then another tone... and another) Mixing is very exciting) Purely creative process)

For the sake of experiment, I actually tried the first ones from a broken palette...

Mixed with alcohol and a drop of glycerin.

To a viscous homogeneous consistency -

Since it was originally a pressed bronzer, there is already a binder there, and I used just a drop of glycerin. Pure pigments (mics) require more glycerin. This is the most difficult moment - not to overdo it with glycerin, otherwise the shadows will be completely creamy...

Then, lifting it and throwing it onto the table from a height of a couple of centimeters, I got rid of unevenness and air bubbles. The surface of the shadow became smooth and even...

Then I took crumbly silver shadows, which seemed to me to be an inappropriate open and pure tone for my appearance, and added a little brown shadows to them, also from the series “broke - but it’s a pity to throw it away: P)

The result was a silvery-brownish tone. I added a little more yellow to warm up the tone.

While mixing, I did samples on my hands to see how the color applied. The top one is the first one, the bottom one is with the addition of yellow...

I wasn't happy with the result, so I added a little more dirty pink.

The color seemed much nicer to me than the original cold gray. Here's a comparison.

I made a mistake while kneading - I added too much glycerin. These shadows will end up almost creamy. Although I liked the result even more than its non-cream counterparts... :-)

And then follow the pattern - pour, stir, knead...

Three main tones and the final one -

Three main tones and the final one -

And then... the devil went to the shops...: p

So far this has not been the result...

Swatches on the skin, with the shadows not yet dry, really... (they don’t lie flat because they’re damp)

Same tones on light skin:

The alcohol dissipated the next day, I compacted those shadows that were NOT creamy, and now I have this completely usable palette made of completely unusable (for me) tones...

After drying, they are applied evenly, they stay on very well, I walked around with the lower left tone all day from the very morning until the evening, nothing floated, did not roll, did not crumble, did not print.

Yes, the methods are of course rogue, but maybe someone also has deposits of unnecessary tones, and he will finally find a use for them) And it’s simply a fascinating and creative, and even somewhat magical process. I felt like a witch over a cauldron: P It’s not so important that it’s all handicraft, and that it’s made from all sorts of slag and leftovers: P - and in general it doesn’t matter whether I use it especially, but the process was worth it. During creation, the following poems were composed:

I'm a witch with a wart on my nose! Now I’ll make myself some sausage! From three toad butts and wet boxes, fresh rat meat, toadstools in a basket, so that everything turns out just like in the store!

Thank you all for your attention!:) and creative impulses.:) I hope I won’t be banned for such a huge post, I don’t know how to shorten it. Actually, I wrote it before the new year, but I decided to post it here anyway, maybe it will be useful to someone...

Evening black and white makeup

Evening black and white makeup

For evening black and white makeup, you can offer many options. Of course, they have the same basis, only the methods of applying shadows and the lines of the arrows differ.

Girls often, when doing evening makeup, draw arrows on themselves, wanting to lengthen or enlarge their eyes, to give them a special charm. In daytime makeup, it is better to avoid arrows or make them barely noticeable.

Draw a line of upper and lower eyelashes with a black pencil and shade it a little. Do not line only the inner corner of your eyes. Then we apply dark gray shadows to the moving eyelid and also shade it a little to give depth to the look. Apply pearlescent shadows on top and blend (to add shine to the look). Under the eyebrow line we paint with white shadows. The makeup will be completed by highlighting the outer corners of the eyes with a richer black color. You can even increase the application of black a little towards the eyebrow line. After this, we paint the eyelashes with bright black voluminous mascara.

Makeup for blue eyes

Gray, metallic, pearlescent and blue shadows are most suitable for blue eye makeup.

If a girl uses black eyeliner, it looks harmonious with a pink tint. The bright tone is ideal for romantic meetings. It gives depth to the look.

Evening makeup for blue eyes is best done with charcoal shadows in combination with any shade you like.

When choosing eyeliner, you should avoid light colors. Dark cosmetics make the eye color richer and more intense. Dark blue, dark green, brown and dark gray eyeliner look good. To prevent it from smearing, it is recommended to apply a thin layer of powder on top.

Advice! Cool pink shades help blue-eyed girls hide traces of fatigue after a long hard day at work.

  • Apply white shiny shadows to the moving eyelid, blend well up to the eyebrow line. Now we take black shadows and highlight the third (starting from the inner) part of the eyelid with them. To do this, first draw a clear vertical border about a third of the height. Paint from the inner corner to the border line with black shadows. Thus, we visually enlarged the eye.
  • Now we paint over the third part of the outer corner of the eyelid. To do this, we also first draw a vertical border and paint over the corner, giving it the shape of a kind of triangle. We draw the middle part of the eyelid: for this you can use either bright white shadows or a white shiny eye pencil.
  • The lower eyelid can be lined with black, but it is better to repeat the alternating colors of the upper eyelid: black - white - black. You can lightly line the eyeliner lines of the lower eyelid with appropriate shadows, blending them a little.
  • The only thing left to complete the eye makeup is to apply black mascara. Lengthening mascara is good for this; you can also use voluminous mascara.
