One of the products that farmers keep goats for is milk. It is quite difficult to distinguish it from cow's milk by taste; goat's milk is somewhat fattier. Milk can be used to make various products, which sell just as well among buyers.

What can you make from goat milk?

There are no restrictions on dairy products made from goat milk. The owners receive cottage cheese, butter, cheese or sour cream. You can also get kefir, yogurt, fermented baked milk or prepare yogurt and condensed milk. Homemade goat milk ice cream is very tasty and does not have various flavor enhancers.

Various products are made from goat milk

Goat milk is very healthy, so some buyers are willing to pay a lot of money to enjoy such products. But farmers don't often keep enough goats to pursue this business professionally. Therefore, it is important for many to know how to prepare all these products at home in order to get as close to the standards as possible, as well as preserve the taste.

goat milk recipes

With Lenorka’s light hand, I became a participant in the tasting of dairy products. I don’t have much experience in test drives (usually I myself hand out pillows for pregnant women for test drives), but I have a lot of experience in eating milk. The fact is that I have already switched to proper nutrition for a year now.

They say that in knowledge there are 2 methods - deductive and inductive. We all know about the first one from the old Sherlock, and the inductive one is actively used in our education system and is based on the authority of the teacher. Well, that is, you don’t look for information, don’t analyze or draw conclusions, but simply take on faith everything that your guru says. I decided not to follow one method, but to combine them both, and studied nutrition from a variety of angles. Well, I found my guru, which complemented and largely changed my ideas about nutrition in principle.

All this is a long introduction to the fact that dairy products have become one of the main components of my family's diet. We eat them in all forms - as an independent product, as a component of various dishes and delicacies. Therefore, the Sernur cheese factory definitely found its fan in me.

So, happiness came to me in this amount:

Here you can find curds made from cow's and goat's milk, live yoghurts Kazimel, and the king of tasty and healthy food, Halumis frying cheese.

First of all, we started on the cheese, because it’s not our rule to leave tasty things for later. You have to eat something tasty right away so it doesn’t spoil, as my daughter says.

Having carefully studied the instructions on the box, I did everything as written. I fried the cheese until golden brown and served it with my own sauce (made from tomato paste, olive oil, salt and honey). I’ll say right away that our family has many years of experience in eating fried cheese, mostly the Adyghe one goes well.

But this cheese exceeded all expectations. Dense, smooth, oozing with aromatic brine - it is simply made for frying. When frying, the cheese did not fall apart, as often happens with Adyghe cheese, but was covered with a fragrant, crispy golden crust. The aroma filled the entire apartment, as a result everyone ran into the kitchen to see what was so delicious being cooked. And there was something to see.

In terms of aesthetics (which is important in the process of preparing and eating food), Halumis cheese received a 5+. A beautiful box with appetizing drawings and a cooking recipe, neat transparent packaging of the cheese itself is easy to open. The piece of cheese itself is perfectly smooth and of the correct shape, which made it possible to cut it into identical beautiful bars.

Now about the taste. It's great! Rich milky taste, slightly salty, crispy crust, delicate texture. One box of cheese was enough for our family of 3 adults (a 14-year-old daughter, as a growing organism, will give any adult a head start) to have a hearty dinner. 22 grams of protein per 100 grams of product, and 300 grams per package. That is, 22 grams per serving is a chic, satisfying, dense meal that completely covers the protein requirements for 1 meal. For children, 50 grams of this cheese will be enough. Easily and completely digestible, leaving a pleasant aftertaste and satiety, but not heaviness. I highly recommend this cheese as a hearty breakfast, as a side dish for lunch (by the way, it goes with absolutely any side dish, unlike meat), as an original and tasty dinner. Not even the most capricious child or teenager will refuse such a tasty treat, and the mother’s soul is calm that the child received the protein requirement. And protein, friends, is very, very, very important for a growing body! Therefore, for vegetarians this cheese is just a godsend!

Now yoghurts. They are made from goat milk, with natural fruit puree. No flavors, dyes, sweeteners.

My daughter brought all the yoghurts to school, it’s just the perfect snack for recess - thick, filling and healthy. True, there is sugar in the composition, but I decided to close my eyes to it, because... the child moves a lot, and a little sweet is possible, and even necessary, before physical activity. I liked the rich taste of the berries, the uniform consistency (well, she doesn’t like lumps), and the lack of a specific taste and aroma of goat’s milk. But more on that below.

We ate cow's milk curd in different forms. I just ate one for breakfast. I usually add fructose to soft curds because they are very sour. This curd surprised me with its pleasant neutral taste and delicate, homogeneous consistency. It's amazing how they manage to do this, but the curd didn't separate, so you can just eat it right away without stirring. It went perfectly without any additives, and the portion is just enough for a hearty children's breakfast or as an addition to an adult's sandwich. Thick, tasty, natural. 10 grams of protein is a very decent indicator for cottage cheese (usually 8 grams in cottage cheese, which means generously diluting them with milk).

The jar of cottage cheese is compact and easily fits in your purse. An ideal snack for pregnant women, children, and just people leading an active lifestyle. They just sat on a bench, opened it, ate it, and moved on. And no snacks are needed.

One cottage cheese went into healthy cookies, I just added it to oatmeal, a couple of eggs and a spoonful of honey. It’s wasteful, of course, to stuff such a luxurious product into cookies, but my child doesn’t eat cottage cheese, so I have to be cunning. It turned out great, dissolved, and didn’t even give any cottage cheese flavor.

I repeat once again that it does not have any sour taste or aftertaste. This means that the product is made from perfectly fresh raw materials, properly prepared and packaged.

Goat curd seemed unusual to me, having never tried goat milk products in my life, both in taste and consistency. The aroma is very delicate, the consistency is viscous, viscous, a little like yogurt. The lack of sugar and other flavoring additives prompted me to continue the experiment and finish the jar to the end. The feeling was very pleasant, my stomach definitely approved of this product. The rest of the jars went with a bang, and now I will definitely buy this. Goat's milk is easily digestible, does not cause allergies even in chronic allergy sufferers, and improves intestinal microflora. Goat's milk is, in principle, closer in composition and taste to human breast milk, so it is better to transfer children from breastfeeding to a regular diet on goat's milk and products made from it. And the protein from it is absorbed much better thanks to its special composition, which is friendly to the fragile enzymes of the child’s body.

Therefore, even if you have never tried goat milk products, I highly recommend that you start with the products of the Sernur plant. The beauty is that they keep a special breed of goats, whose milk practically does not have the characteristic “goat” taste and smell. While retaining all the beneficial properties, the milk of these cute goats has a delicate neutral taste and absolutely no specific odor. The goats are raised in humane and environmentally friendly conditions, graze in the fresh air, and go to milking on their own and willingly.

In India they say: “Milk is liquid love.” Think about this phrase, but it’s true.

Milk is the ideal protein. The one that is given to children just born as the basis of life. Milk protein is absorbed 100%, without requiring additional body resources. By consuming up to half of our protein and fat requirements from dairy products, we help the body cope with the challenges presented by the environment.

Here, of course, a lot depends on the conditions in which the animals are kept and even in what mood they give this very milk. The Sernur cheese factory is a real household, only on a larger scale. This is a family farm, with breeding traditions passed down from father to son. Here animals are groomed and cherished, and they reciprocate, willingly giving away the most precious thing they have - milk. This business is done with love for one’s work and respect for the consumer, and this is already a guarantee of the quality and benefits of the products.

At the age of 38, I realized that proper nutrition is the basis (the basis!!!) of health. Food is what our body is built from, like building blocks. And by laying this foundation from childhood, we give our children an excellent start in life.

Don't waste your time and money. to buy good quality products! Moreover, the products of the Sernur cheese plant are sold within walking distance from your home - in the chain of stores Izbenka, Vkusville, and in many large retail chains.

Eat tasty and healthy, your body will thank you!
