Biography of Anna Netrebko
The owner of an outstanding voice and one of the greatest opera singers of our time, Anna Netrebko was born in the south of Russia, in Krasnodar. Anna Netrebko's family was far from music: her mother worked as a geologist, and her father was an engineer. Since childhood, the girl loved to sing; while studying in high school, she was a soloist in the Kuban Pioneer ensemble and performed at the Palace of Pioneers. The dream of a big stage was formed by the end of school: Anna entered the music school in Leningrad. She was enrolled in the course of Honored Cultural Worker R.F. Tatyana Lebed. After studying for two years, Anna left school and successfully passed the exam at the St. Petersburg State Conservatory. N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov, taking the course of the famous teacher Tamara Dmitrievna Novichenko.
The opera diva's path to success
During her studies, Anna participates in the All-Russian vocal competition, where she not only receives first prize, but also an invitation to the Mariinsky Theater to audition. Director Valery Gergiev was amazed by her talent and offered her the main role in Le nozze di Figaro. After this, Anna became one of the most prominent performers at the Mariinsky Theater. The audience fell in love with her for her roles in the plays “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, “The Tsar’s Bride”, “Don Juan”, “Boris Godunov” and others. While touring with the Mariinsky Theater Company, Anna performed in Finland, Israel, Latvia, Germany, and her performance on the opera stage in San Francisco brought her worldwide fame. After that, the Russian singer gave many sold-out concerts in the USA and Western Europe. People started talking about the new superstar Netrebko after she performed the role of Natasha in the play “War and Peace” at the Metropolitan Opera in New York and the role in the opera “Don Giovanni” in Salzburg, Austria.
In 2003, Netrebko released her first album, “Opera Arias,” which became one of the best-selling academic music discs. The following year, Sempre Libera was released, which was also a huge success. During this time, she performed opera roles in Romeo and Juliet together with Rolando Villazón, and Violetta Valeria in La Traviata at the Salzburg Festival. In 2006, Anna received Austrian citizenship while retaining Russian citizenship. This gives her more freedom to move around during concerts, and she tours with the best musicians in the world.
In 2008, she was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Russian Federation. At the Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014, Anna Netrebko performed the Russian anthem. Now the opera singer is the winner of many Russian and international awards in the field of music; the cost of one performance is estimated at 50 thousand dollars.

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anna_netrebko_yusi_tiago/ The biography of any celebrity will not be interesting if it does not cover such a side of a person’s life as personal life. Anna was born and raised in a prosperous family, where mom and dad loved and respected each other, and the girl always strived to find the one with whom she would live happily for many years. But this family happiness did not come to her right away, after a series of griefs and separations.
The singer does not name the person with whom she fell in love as a student at the conservatory. Her chosen one was married and had no intention of getting a divorce, and the girl decided to leave - a relationship that was leading nowhere did not suit her. An internship in San Francisco, in addition to success in terms of studies, brought her another “heartbreak” - she met the baritone Ted. And this union soon gave way to a long life: the artist was very sensitive to his friend’s successes, and when Netrebko returned to Russia for a while, he found someone else.
It was very difficult for her to survive such a betrayal, and it seemed that salvation had been found: the handsome Nikolai Zubkov appeared on the woman’s love horizon. Alas, this love boat was also wrecked - they saw each other too rarely due to the busy tour schedule.
Is this really him, the one who will become an attentive husband and an ideal father for future children? And even though his nationality is Uruguayan, love knows no boundaries! This is what the singer probably thought when Erwin Schrott appeared in her life. They even announced their engagement, and it seemed that the wedding was just around the corner. Son Thiago, born in 2008, was supposed to cement their relationship, but in 2013 the public sadly learned that Anna and Erwin had separated.
The meeting a year later with Azerbaijani Yusif Eyvazov did not foretell that they would fall in love and get married. She came to Italy: she had to perform with an unfamiliar tenor, and the part had not yet been learned, and time was running out.

Yusif, who had been preparing for a long time, was shocked by the woman’s straightforwardness and by the avalanche of indignation that hit him so quickly. His star colleague, having expressed dissatisfaction, however, pulled herself together: several weeks in Rome passed unnoticed, because the couple performed superbly. Eyvazov immediately “fell into the heart” of the Russian beauty, but it was not so easy to win her favor. After Anna leaves for Vienna, he decides to follow her.
He courted her so actively and beautifully, and declared his love so passionately that in August of the same year, an engagement was announced. Just before the New Year, fans of the artists could happily admire Yusif and his bride’s Instagram photos from their magnificent wedding.

And at the same time everyone waited with anxiety: God forbid, she was unlucky again, and she, so talented and beautiful, would be left alone again in the near future. Miracle, this didn't happen! Finally, a man was found who could become the main thing in her life. “Do I look like an unsatisfied woman? And don’t ask me who is in charge in our family - of course, my husband,” the artist shared her happiness with tenderness and pride in the program “Characters with Nailya Asker-zade” in January 2019.
In her free time from touring and performing, she immerses herself in family life. Kuban borscht, Azerbaijani pilaf, baked pork or chicken, an incredible amount of salads - she cooks anything with skill. The husband found a common language with Thiago - between themselves, mom and new dad call him Tisha. Despite the fact that the boy suffers from a mild form of autism, he develops normally, goes to a prestigious school, and of course a large share of the credit for his happy childhood belongs to Yusif Eyvazov.
They call each other nothing more than “my happiness”, “my joy”, and are not shy about demonstrating their feelings in public. “He is strong, wise, and knows how to find an approach to me and Tisha,” Anna says about her wife. And Yusif, when asked what is most important for them now, replies: “Everything we do is aimed at Thiago’s prosperous future. We are happy and will be together until the end of our days, and God grant that this lasts as long as possible.”
Personal life of Anna Netrebko
For a long time, the press wrote about the singer’s dysfunctional romance with dancer Nikolai Zubkovsky. Those close to the singer said that Nikolai often raised his hand to her, and Anna finally broke off the relationship.
Then for 6 years she lived in a civil marriage with the Uruguayan singer Erwin Schrott. Together they founded the Anna und Erwin Foundation to support needy children from St. Petersburg and Vienna. In 2008, Anna gave birth to Erwin's son, Thiago Arua. But the couple broke up due to busy work schedules, which made it impossible to be together.
And at the end of 2020, Anna married tenor from Azerbaijan Yusif Eyvazov.

Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/anna_netrebko_yusi_tiago/ A simple Soviet family, where the girl Anya’s father worked as an engineer, her mother worked as a geologist, and there was also an older sister Natalya - this is the environment in which the future opera star spent her childhood. On the father's and mother's side, the woman's origin was Kuban Cossacks, and her mother's family included gypsies; that's where she gets such a bright appearance and hot temperament. She had all sorts of hobbies during her school years: horse riding, acrobatics, drawing, singing - and she did everything very talentedly.
Music still outweighed other favorite activities: the girl was the permanent soloist of the Kuban Pioneer group for several years. And acrobatics in her youth brought her a well-deserved reward - the title of candidate master of sports. Her bright appearance allowed the girl to take part in the Miss Kuban 1988 beauty contest, where she took second place and was awarded a color TV. There are photos on the Internet where the happy contestant is next to the host of the event, Alexander Maslyakov.

An honorable second place at “Miss Kuban 1988”, the award was after school, when Anna Netrebko was studying at the Leningrad Conservatory. By the way, she was not awarded first place only for this reason: she entered a university not in her native land, and the local Komsomol authorities said: “It’s not patriotic to give the main prize to the one who left.” An interesting detail: swimsuits and dresses for the event were purchased for them, having previously collected money from the contestants for 25 rubles.
Now - about why Leningrad and specifically the conservatory. I had different dreams: to become a surgeon, an artist, a stuntwoman, an actress. The last profession attracted the most, but the competition for admission to the theater university was too high, and it was decided to try my hand at the conservatory. And Anna liked Leningrad long before she was a student; she looked at postcards as a child and decided: “Moscow is not needed, I’ll just go there and study and live there.”
