Closed marriage of Ekaterina Vilkova and Ilya Lyubimov
The beautiful actress Ekaterina Vilkova has long been noticed by directors. While still a student at the Moscow Art Theater School, the girl began actively acting in episodic and then starring roles in films and TV series. Even before filming a movie, she was predicted to have a career in the theater, but as the directors said, Ekaterina simply did not have the impudence to become a theater prima.
Catherine became an actress by a happy coincidence. In her teenage years, the girl was seriously interested in rhythmic gymnastics and biathlon. However, she did not want to connect her life with sports. Parents hoped that Katya would choose some serious specialty for herself after school.
But when the girl was 14 years old, she was sent to a summer camp. There was a drama club there, where everyone could try their hand at it. Ekaterina signed up there, and the teacher recognized her talent and advised her to develop it further. After the camp, the girl returned with the idea of becoming an actress.
Her parents hoped that over time Katya would forget this idea and get a serious profession. But the girl was determined to enter a theater university. She did this with ease and at the age of 14 she became a student at the theater school in Nizhny Novgorod. After graduation, she set off to conquer Moscow.
Almost all of Catherine’s romantic relationships with men are related to her professional activities. Her first love arose for her fellow countryman Peter Kislov. He did not ignore a single girl on the course, but Katya thought that he would be faithful to her. How wrong she was about that.
They had a short affair, after which each of them went their own ways. Kislov has many novels and marriages with Nastya Makeeva and Polina Gagarina.
Later, when Ekaterina graduated from college, the road led her to director Mikhail Shevchuk. They met on the set of the film “Statistics”. The entire set watched the development of the couple’s relationship.
It was thanks to Shevchuk that the actress gained popularity. He cast her in almost all of his films. Scripts were written for Catherine and characters were introduced. But it was the growing popularity of the actress that destroyed her relationship. Mikhail became jealous of her fame; it seemed to him that the girl was moving away from him.
Then the actress had a short-term affair with Elena Korikova’s ex-husband, writer Mikhail Lipskerov. The separation was accompanied by a small scandal. Catherine’s former partner described their relationship in his work, and in great detail.
The fact that intimate details became known to a wide circle knocked Catherine out of balance for a long time. This period was the most difficult in her life. A new acquaintance, actor Ilya Lyubimov, helped her cope with it.
Now Ilya Lyubimov is known as a deeply religious person. But to come to faith he had to go through many trials. The actor does not hesitate to say that he has tried everything in life, even drugs. Then he realized that with this lifestyle there is a chance to end his life very badly and early. Then his friend Andrei Shchennikov, who became a priest, came to his aid. It was he who suggested that Ilya be baptized.
The actor says his life is divided into two halves. In the first part he had many women, gambling and drugs, in the second - his beloved woman, family, work and peace. It was after baptism that Ilya met the one with whom he plans to live his whole life.
After breaking up with his first wife, Ilya Lyubimov promised himself and God that he would marry his next woman. And he kept his promise, despite the fact that he had to wait several years.
Ilya and Ekaterina met not on the set, as is usually the case, but at a gas station. They started talking and decided to continue their acquaintance. Ilya was amazed, because Catherine’s appearance completely coincided with what the elder from the monastery had prophesied to him.
The actor realized that Catherine was his destiny and asked her to marry him. Catherine agreed to his proposal. In 2011, the couple legalized their relationship. For Ilya, as a deeply religious person, it was important to get married, which the couple did.
A year later, the couple delighted fans with the news of a new addition to their family. They had a daughter, for whom they chose the unusual name Pavel. Two years later, the couple, without even expecting it, learned about the upcoming replenishment. It turned out that Catherine was pregnant and they would soon have a boy. The couple's son was named Pavel.
Now Ekaterina and Ilya pay all their attention to their children. The actress admits that her husband took most of the household chores on his shoulders, for which she is very grateful to him. Ekaterina herself continues to act in films, combining this with raising children. The couple admitted that they are not against having another child , but first they need a little rest from two children. And then as God wills.
Vilkova Ekaterina and her husband - photo
Many predicted collapse and failure for Ekaterina Vilkova and her husband, an early divorce due to such different characters and worldviews. Family friends were no exception. Many journalists and spiteful critics still periodically spread rumors about their strained relationship and breakup. However, despite everything, Ekaterina Vilkova and her husband are very friendly, they are raising two beautiful children and do not even think about divorce or separation. A photo of Ekaterina Vilkova’s husband is presented below.
Before meeting Ekaterina Vilkova, Ilya went through a very thorny path from a fall, drug addiction and alcohol to complete transformation. Frequent parties, nightclubs, and entertainment are a thing of the past as soon as the guy has been baptized. It's like he was replaced. He became the complete opposite of that Elijah, stopped all his nightly adventures and became a church employee.
By the way, at this moment Ekaterina Vilkova met her future husband. Their initial relationship was quite complicated. Lyubimov's indecision was letting him down. He could make a date and not show up. The relationship survived thanks to the patience of the actress.
On May 1, 2011, Ekaterina and Ilya got married. Their wedding was very tender. In one interview, the couple admitted that there was no intimacy between the spouses before the wedding. Because of Elijah's church religion, this was not permissible. Their relationship is truly pure and bright.
Ilya Lyubimov: “To become calmer, it was worth getting married!”
On February 5, the film “Invisibles” with Ilya Lyubimov in the title role will be released. Grazia editor Natalya Sysoeva talked to the actor and found out why he would like to secretly infiltrate the State Duma and why it is worth getting married at 30!
Ilya Lyubimov
GRAZIA: Very soon we will see you in the comedy “The Invisibles”. What interested you in this project? ILYA LYUBIMOV: First of all, I wanted to work with producer Renat Davletyarov. The script itself is interesting; we have never filmed anything like this. I would describe the genre as Russian ethnic fiction. There is a lot involved in some legends and legends that have come down to us. But I realized that I had to agree only when I met Renat. This professionally incredible person is, among other things, a true artist. And I believe that the main asset of any project is the team with which you do it!
GRAZIA: Your hero in the film suddenly becomes invisible. If you suddenly had this superpower, where would you go first? What would you do? I.L.: I think I would go to see how some people work - for example, in the office of our president. And to various cultural and artistic figures. Well, he would probably also sneak into the State Duma unnoticed to understand how laws are adopted, and in general to find out what they are thinking about there. (Laughs.) The only thing I wouldn’t do is spy on my own wife! (Ilya’s wife is actress Ekaterina Vilkova . - Note: Grazia)
GRAZIA: Are you afraid that some secret will be revealed that you shouldn't know? I.L.: No, on the contrary, no secrets will be revealed! I already know what Katya thinks about when I’m not there. And in general, you need to be visible with your spouses! At least so that they understand where to kiss!
GRAZIA: But, probably, many actors would like to become invisible for at least a couple of days, just to take a break from publicity. Does it help or hinder you? I.L.: I can’t say what’s interfering, quite the contrary. When your face is recognized, it is easier to meet really interesting people. I am proud of many such contacts. This is a pleasant part of the profession. The only problem arises in the metro. I love driving there, and in the summer, when I don’t have a hat pulled down over my face, I feel some discomfort if people start giggling, sometimes even pointing. But, after all, this is a time in which, as Andy Warhol said, “everyone is entitled to their 15 minutes of fame.” Media characters have become a dime a dozen, and few people cause a frenzy of excitement.

Ilya Lyubimov and Ekaterina Guseva in the film “Invisibles”
GRAZIA: Are you interested in what is written about you on the Internet? I.L.: No, although sometimes, when I come across some critical articles or comments, I understand: I’m still alive, and some things can outrage me.
GRAZIA: Are you a calm person? I.L.: You could say that I am someone who loves balance, but easily gets out of it. I think I'm emotional. Although my wife doesn't notice this. She says I am peace itself. It was probably useful to get married at 30 in order to finally acquire such qualities.
GRAZIA: Has marriage changed you? I.L.: No, this was done specifically by my best wife in the world, who calms me down with her mere presence. They also say that beauty will save the world, and every time I look at my wife, I understand: for the next 15 minutes the world will definitely be saved!
GRAZIA: But it is believed that a woman cannot change a man. IL: Well, it happened against my will. I just received such a gift, and, in my opinion, absolutely undeservedly! Therefore, I declare to all representatives of the stronger sex: expect that this happiness will also fall from heaven on you, and your life will change radically in one moment!
GRAZIA: Didn’t you believe it until you met Ekaterina? I.L.: You know, there was faith, but there was no confidence. This is such a subtle and precise formulation, once uttered by my master Pyotr Naumovich Fomenko. I fervently prayed to God that my expectations would be justified. You know, many men fear that marriage can make them invisible. Therefore, I would like to say: “There is no need to be afraid!” The more you “dissolve” in your families, the more internal volume you will gain!
